The wounded Shadow Wolf growled as it stumbled out of the shadows.

The Shadow Wolf cried out.
It staggered.

His spear thrust forward like lightning.

The spear pierced straight through the wolf's throat.
The beast froze.
Its emerald eyes slowly lost their light.
A dull thud echoed as its body hit the forest floor.

The surviving wolves stared at the fallen body.
A deep growl rumbled from their throats.
