Xero noticed that the writer of the book was once a student in the Military Super University. He was in year four when he wrote the book. The main reason why he had written the book was to caution the new first years so as not to into much trouble as he did.

Xero opened the first Chapter of the book. Although it looked old and he was worried whether or not the rules back in the writer’s days was still applicable to his present day.

From the first Chapter, he learnt that they hidden rules in the Military system and most of them were implemented by the upper years.

The upper years had signed in a rule where the first years had to pay up something called bill up to the second years and the second years in turn paid theirs to the third years. The chain all went up in that manner until the fifth years.

The school normally would give students 20 points each and on special occasions they would increase or decrease the amount of points given to the students. These special occasions could include punishment or rewards.

Given the system, in each year there were popular gangs and if you happened to be a friend to one of the members, you will know how dangerous it is. Most of the gangs ended up stealing points and bullying weaker students although this was the routine for the weak ones.

The big gangs like the Big Four was an exception. The Big Four was a central gang comprised of four giant gangs that ruled the school. Among the Big Four is the Desmantles. This gang is known for their brutal nature and usually attack those they deem worthy of their judgment.

The Desmantles perform as the disciplinary faction of the Big Four and they are the most brutal gang in the school. The leaders are usually chosen from a specific family. Although right now I really don’t know which family but be careful not to fall in their traps.

Next is the Lion Brothers. A faction initiated by two twins. Although they were young were in first year, I guess they will be in their fourth year by the 10th Age.( That was basically the time Xero was in the school. This was the 10th Age and so that meant that the twins were still in the school assuming all odds are constant.) They are incredibly strong. Rumours have it that they defeated a teacher in a one on one spar.

However, the Lion Brothers are known for correction. They simply correct things they don’t like. They act as the Big Four’s advocate for what they see justice as. Well their sense of justice is quite different from normal. They simply beat up those who have wronged others and if the matter is brought up to them, they are the Supreme Judges over the students in the school.

Then there is the Harbingers of Doom. This faction has a different motive from the other three. They simply pass their message by death. Their acts are done in the secret and not everyone knows of them.

Lastly is an entity known as Unknown. He is a student and surely isn’t the one who can mess with. He is one of the strongest students in the history of the Kansas Military Super University. Every new year, he keeps spies on the year one students to know if there is anyone worthy of replacing him.

That’s it with the gangs. I’ve done my very best to explain the gang system and how it primarily works in the school.

Obviously by now you might have noticed that the school doesn’t really care much about a student’s death but thar is only applicable during lecture hours. A death out of this could be very suspicious and force the system against the murderer.

Now there are basic rules set by the school which would be given to you later on. Of the few rules that will be stipulated, there’s a curfew at night from 11pm till 4am. There’s a reason for that but we students have no idea what it is?

I will advice that you don’t try to go against that rule, most students have died by trying to check out why the curfew was mandated.

Xerl read on and noticed that the location of the school was unknown to everyone up until they graduated and went into the outside world. Their semester breaks were going to be in the school and they would be mandated to stay in the school for five years before being considered worthy to go off the walls.

He was about reading about the big Families in the school when the librarian announced that all students should vacate the the library. The library closed by 5pm everyday apart from Saturdays when they closed by 6pm.

Xero asked a librarian if he could borrow the book but the librarian told that a book could be lent to a level 4 and above. Xero wanted to curse but he decided that it was fair enough. The school had to frustrate the lower levels to build their zeal to grow stronger.

He left the library and only then did he noticed that the sky was darkening faster than he expected. Evening was already at his feet.

"Hell no." Xero cursed when he remembered how far the library was from his dorm. He decided to try out something. He wanted to see if the system added an extra EXP for surpassing the daily tasks.

He ran up until he got the dorm. His breathing was hard. He waited for a message to pop up as always. He had ran about 4 kilometers. He needed a reward or something.

After waiting a few seconds and he noticed that no message was forthcoming, he decided to get into his room. Just then a hologram pop up.

He smiled and walked into his room. He needed a nice nap and he was sure he would get it as he noticed that none of his roommates were around. He smiled and fell flat on the bed waiting for sleep to drive him to the dreamland.
