I Acquried A Murdering System

Chapter 16 - 016: History Of Demons

Kenry walked into the class and the first person he glanced at was the one boy who had managed to make him a slight amount of pain without a iota of energy.

He hadn’t felt such power before in a long time and he didn’t expect a level 1 to possess such massive amount of power. After being a Missionary for twenty nine years, he was sure that only levels of 15 and above could match such raw strength but for some reason he saw that kind of energy in this boy.

He had been anxiously waiting to see him again. To him, he was an unrefined prodigy that needed a little training and he was determined to be the tutor of such a fine student.

"My name is Kenry Ostland." As he said his full name he could feel the reaction on the faces of most students.

Literally he was a legend. One of the Revolutionary Missionaries who helped Earth overcome the waves of monsters that had breached into Earth in World War 5.

So basically he was a legend. He was rumoured to have slain six Abominations during the War. And what was most enticing was thar he was a swordsman who plenty people had over looked. The event had earned him a nickname as ’Samurai King’.

"It’s Samurai King!!"

"Is it really him!!?"

There was excitement in the air and most of the students were amazed that such a high tier fighter would be their teacher.

"Now that you know me, I would state a few rules in my class." Kenry said calmly.

"First, no bullying. A duel isn’t one to be won by bullying and I detest bullies to the core. Although I would be your combat teacher, you wouldn’t be allowed to use your abilities except I say so." Kenry said and they all nodded their heads.

"Now for today’s class I’ll start by repeating the history you all have heard about how the world came to this." Kenry stated and suddenly their was a projection on the board.

"About one thousand years ago, Earth experienced its first anomaly. A nearby planet crashed into Earth and while the planet fell down their orbital line, most of its habitants travelled to Earth.

These beings were known as Carats because they were from the Caras planet. They ravaged on humans and even though they were small, they managed to defeat every technology that was thrown at them. The only thing that worked, was acid.

Every country began to produce acid guns to protect themselves and then they were able to wipe out the Carats completely. But even so, humanity saw that they were weak and begun to sought science for help. They built different chemical weapons and bombs until a fine piece was formed in the United States. A KO123 Anti Magic Bomb.

When another set of aliens came down to earth, most countries tried using the acid but it had little effects on the big threats and it was then that United States lured a total of five Calamities and destroyed them with the only Anti Magic Bomb in stock. The operation consumed a lot lives.

Now to the World War 5, we noticed fir the first time that was always a portal that allowed beasts to pass through Earth and then humans awakened their first abilities. Of which I am one of them, we were defeat only three ranks of beasts. (Regular, Calamity and Abominations.)

Well that’s all you have to know for now. Other informations will be given to as he proceed." Kenry explained.

Then someone raised a hand to ask a question. Kenry nodded in approval of the question.

"Sir, please you fought in the World War 5 can I ask how strong these beasts are? As it stands only those who fought them know their true strength. All we were taught in our middle school was just the ranks of the demons."

"A very good one. Well if I’m to give a range I’ll give it based on the Military power system. So a regular beast ranges between level 1 to 20. A Calamity ranges between level 21 to 30 and the Abominations range between 31 to 50." Kenry explained.

"Thanks."

"Any other questions?" Kenry asked and Lora shot her hands up. He smiled and nodded in approval for her speech.

"Sir were there any other beasts more powerful than the Abominations because I heard thar most high ranks were killed in the Hunt Portals." Xero’s eyes sharpened.

The Hunts. That was were his father was and if this man had an answer to that then he should probably know his father.

"Unfortunately no. I have never ventured into the Hunt Portal and I do not intend now. But there is a possibility of greater monsters than Abominations." Kenry said and smiled.

"Ok. That’s all." Lora said and sat down.

Xero stared at her wondering why she had asked the question. Did she know of anyone who had gone to the Hunt Portal? For now he couldn’t ask this man about the Hunt Portal since he had no clue about it.

"I’ll be giving you a thirty minutes recess before we begin our combat classes proper. Use this to gather much energy." Kenry said and walked out of the classroom.

Xero watched him leave. He wanted to follow him but he noticed that wouldn’t work as the man teleported away.

"Remember you have to see the General. Or have you forgotten?" Lora said and Xero snapped out his thoughts.

"Oh. Yeah. I guess I have to be going then. Keep an eye for me anyways." Xero said and left the class, heading straight for the General’s office.

He wondered why he had specifically wanted to see him. He wondered if he knew that he was the killer of the level 3 during the entrance exam. Probably he would expell him if he found out but that vanished when he remembered that he had promised not to punish the culprits.

So why did he call for him?
