I Acquried A Murdering System

Xero got back to the dormitory. He found Tenny sitting on his bed while scrabbling on a piece of note. Only then did it dawn on him that he had missed four days of lecture.

"Hey man." Xero said casually as he took a side beside him. Tenny stared at him in surprise.

"Where have you been? I thought you had been kidnapped by someone or something bad happened to you? You shouldn’t go missing like that again."

Xero scratches the back of his head. He couldn’t tell him about what happened. That would cause for alarm. Knowing his timid nature, he will fidget on the spot and may become extra watchful.

"Nah, I fell ill. Guess the much food I ate sent me into the hospital." Xero said as he smiled lightly.

"Really? Then don’t leave me like that again. I was scared." Tenny said as he scanned through Xero’s body.

"Sorry man. So what did I miss?"

"Nothinh out of the usual. More bullies. Although classes are interesting only that I’m too weak to be cool there." Tenny said as he continued to write what he was writing.

"Wow that’s a while lot. What have you guys been learning?" Xero asked as he watched him writing.

"Basic knowledge on demons and portals. Then combat classes." Tenny said as he shoved him his note.

Xero scanned through the note, noticing that it was more detailed that he expected. The combat lessons were only on the note. He had expected a visual training.

"So what are you writing?" Xero asked and Tenny quickly covered the paper and looked up at him.

"A letter to my mum."

The school had retorted to use of post letters despite the advancement in technology. The use of electronic phones was prohibited. That was because of the fact that electronic devices could be easily tracked down.

"Okay." Xero said as he stood up and got to his bed. Them he pulled up his bag and took a notebook.

If he wanted accomplish his mission this night, he needed a blueprint of the plan. That way he could easily explain the plan to Lora.

He took out his pen and began to draw locations like a travel map. He planned to create a diversion for the guards. And to do that, he couldn’t think of a better way other than to lure a fight down there but he wasn’t sure what the consequences would be.

To be on the safer side, he decided to lure the bully who had earlier tried to steer a fight into a fight. He was going to be the bait but he would shift the burden on Lora while he would come in from the opposite end. With that he could easily slip I’m without being noticed but there was on last problem.

He needed to find away out. Considering the fact that the diversion would easily die out. He couldn’t construct a second diversion with Lora again. If he wanted another diversion, he needed a third party.

He sighed lightly as he tried to think out a solid plan. He couldn’t pull in a third party. He just didn’t have that option. He looked at Tenny. It would be fruitless to involve him. He was too timid for the operation.

"If only I had a stealth ability."

Then he remembered that he hadn’t given up his teleportation stone. At least the stone of the guy he had killed was still with him. He could use it to return back to dorms but he wasn’t sure how the stone worked.

At the very worst if he couldn’t teleport back to his dorm then he might be transferred to the open ground where they took their exam. All he would have to do will be to race back to the dormitory here.

That was a perfect plan. There was no way Lora wasn’t going to like the idea. He had streamlined the events and all he had to was to get in.

Besides that he wondered what he would find inside. If the school had actually seen this as a crime and there was a death case then he had to know what was happening.

He knew this was risky. If he was caught on the site all accusing fingers will point at him but he still felt the urge to get in there and find out what had happened.

If there was anything he knew, it was that he had gotten involved with a cult and he didn’t know what plans they had for him. All the answers to his questions like in that Forest.

"Hey, Tenny I would be back late this night." Xero said aloud and Tenny paused his writing and looked at him.

"Why?"

"I have to meet Lora to know what we were taught while I was ill." He said.

"You mean that girl I saw you with the other day? Is she your girlfriend? She’s cute."

Xero’s face flushed red in embarrassment. He hadn’t thought of her as a girlfriend and it was then that he realised that she was his first female friend.

"No. No. She’s just a friend and my classmate." He argued.

"Yah. A girl that is your friend. Your girlfriend." Tenny pressed on.

"She’s not my girlfriend." He argued back.

"Yeah OK. Just so you know, she has been going out with a guy from your class, Derek. He’s cool. Every girl wants him and besides he is a Level 9 so he attracts attention. People like us don’t stand a chance against him." Tenny said and Xero lowered his head.

For some reason he didn’t like the idea of seeing Derek around Lora but he couldn’t force her because he didn’t have a reason. Well he hoped that her new found friend wouldn’t stop his friendship with her.

He got down and decided to take his bath. His appointment was drawing close. He stepped into the bathroom and the flowing water from the shower eased his nerves. For the moment he felt calm and relaxed. He hoped he would successfully uncover the secrets that he wanted.
