I Acquried A Murdering System

Chapter 26 - 026: Date in the Garden

The garden was more beautiful than he had expected it to be. Flowers rained down from every direction. The most expensive and love enticing flowers were here.

It wasn’t a vegetable garden like he had thought it would. It was more eloquent and more decorated than he had expected it to be. Such taste was rare. The doors of the gate were completely made of beautiful flowers.

If he ever found a date in this school this would be a perfect place to exprees his love. He wasn’t sure he would get that in the first place so he brushed off the thought.

He walked into the garden. The aroma of great flowers hit his nostrils and he could swear that he was tasting the fragrance with his taste buds.

The red hibiscus and yellow Amanda blended perfectly in the sequence they were arranged. He hadn’t noticed their beauty until now.

Besides the beautiful garden was a hangout spot. It sat at the heart of the garden. Students were also there. Most of them were on dates and he could see the romance in the atmosphere.

He wondered why Lora had told him to come here for their meeting. She had texted him their location for their meeting while he was bathing. He took a seat on a table for two. Then he rubbed his temples wondering where she was.

He used this time to take note of the people around him. He watched as a girl shared a spaghetti with her boyfriend and they ended up having the spaghetti kiss.

He looked away not wanting to nature distractions. He tried to remember if he had a romance life. The answer was no. He was seen as a wierdo back in school. No one wanted to associate with him.

He was too weak to even imagine having a girlfriend. They treated like an object without feelings. He had grown up being cold and all his life he was rejected by his environment for being a Lamer.

After his sixteenth birthday, it was obvious that he was a Lamer. With no abilities he became a laughing stock. One who received the deepest and most hurting insults.

"Lost in thoughts?" The voice of Lora snapped him back to reality.

He turned to see her standing beside him. He sighed lightly, about to rant about the fact that she had been twenty minutes late.

"Sorry for wasting time. Had issues to handle." She said as she took her sit. "So what’s your plan?"

Xero scratched the back of his head lightly while he slid a paper to her. She picked up the paper and stared at it while she watched him nervously tapping his fingers against the table.

"So basically we are sneaking into the forest and you want to use me as your diversion." Lora said and Xero smiled stupidly.

"So I’m getting involved after all." Lora said sarcastically and Xero sighed lightly.

"I’m sorry but you won’t be suspected. The security should simply separate you two. All you have to is lure the guys into hitting you then you lead them right into the hands of the guards." Xero said and tapped his fingers gently on the table again.

"You make that sound easy. What if we end up failing to catch their attention? Any back up plans?" Lora asked as she stared at him waiting for an answer.

Xero of course didn’t have a second plan. He didn’t think a bully would miss his chance to punch the gut of his prey.

"No but he wouldn’t miss his chance to. Only that he may consider you a girl who is stronger than he is. So he may not come for you." Xero said and lowered his head.

"So what then happens if that’s the case because I can’t risk getting into that forest. You’ve got to have another diversion." Lora said as she slid the paper back to him.

"No I don’t have another diversion but I do have an efficient diversion. You." Xero said and she stared at him confused.

"As a lady you have better privileges. All you have to do is force him to face you." Xero said and she stared at him getting a clue at what he was going at.

"Place a dirty bet with him and he will kill himself to get it done." Xero said grinning widely.

But on the other hand Lora didn’t take his words lightly. He was seriously offering her to play dirty for a damn curiosity that should have been kicked in hell.

"Seriously Xero. Is this what you take me for?" She said angrily and slammed her fist on the table and half of the table turned into an ice cake.

"No. I don’t see you that way. I..." he was dumbfounded by her reaction. He hadn’t expected her to flare up at him. Not that she could not but he didn’t really expect it to play out.

"I’m sorry if I sounded stupid. I’ll find a way out. I’m sorry." He said quietly and folded the paper and slipped it into his breast pocket.

Then he stood up from the seat and walked out then he turned back to stare at her and smiled lightly.

"You know I never had a female friend."

Then he walked out of the garden, his hands in his pockets and his jacket moving in the direction of the wind.

Lora sat on her seat and watched him leave. She didn’t know how she felt but she knew for sure that what she had said had pained Xero.

Her remained at the ivory gate where Xero had passed from. She could also feel a pain in her heart but she didn’t know what it was that pained her.

She looked around the garden and she could see everyone, lovers flirting with each other and the dense romance piano that played from the keyboardist.

Then it dawned on her. This was her date.
