Everyone shifted their gaze to the guy who just walked in. His dark black hair fell on his face and his athletic build made and long legs made him stand out.
Genos Dan. One of the survivors of the entrance exam. In fact, he was the top among the five of them. Xero still remembered his face.
Genos walked inside calmly,his hands in his pocket as he strode through the crowd. His blue eyes were hollow of emotion. A dark energy wrapped around his body as he approached Xero.
"You are not dying today." He said and held Xero’s arm.
Xero stared at him puzzled. Why was he here? Why did he come to save him? But while he was lost in thoughts, he heard the sound of energy breaking.
He looked behind him and Genos had successfully pulled him out of the silver guy’s gravity.
"Who the hell do you think you are?!" The silver guy thundered and the air around the hall changed.
Genos stared at him as he grew angrier by the second. Xero on the other hand was confused about what was happening. Genos had commanded the entire students not to move and somehow it worked.
He wondered how that was possible. Then he turned to see Romeo standing on his feet with a deadly grin on his lips.
"You two seem proud of yourselves huh?" Another guy said. He was the third one of the five.
"Look, these guys aren’t year one students, they are year two students." Genos said as Xero took a battle stance.
"Don’t push yourself hard. All we have to do is to hold them on until General Bryan gets here."
Xero stared at then in shock. They were really year two students? Why were they here? And why pick up the weak ones as targets?
"General Bryan? He knows?" Xero asked lightly.
"Lora is on her way to his office. Once he gets the information, he should be down here." Genos said and sighed.
"So which of you goes first?" He said aloud and the year two students smirked widely.
"Personally I want to take you down." The silver haired guy said and floated down to the ground. Genos smiled.
With lightning speed, they charged at each other, throwing punches that couldn’t be followed by the eyes.
Xero then ran towards Romeo but as he took a step forward, the ground swallowed him. Then it opened in front of Romeo and he seized the opportunity to strike him hard.
Xero shot to the wall which opened again and he got spat in front of Romeo who kicked him hard. The effect sent him skidding across the hall.

Xero was bleeding profusely now. He looked at Romeo sternly. He knew the ground effects weren’t his abilities. It had to be that of another of the five.
He tilted his head and just then he saw the ground open. With calculated reflex he spun out of the danger zone and landed on one foot.
"Damn it. Earth ability. And very similar to Wang’s. Hate those guys." Xero cursed .
Then he dashed forward again but this time he made a fake movement with his legs and he saw the ground open a few feet ahead of him.
He smiled lightly and dashed out from the adjacent. Romeo stared at him in shock but his face twisted again as he gathered up energy in his hands.
"Yeah, that’s true. I can dodge the other guy’s earth ability but that doesn’t make me a vector against him." Xero said as he dashed towards Romeo.
"So in that case..." he said and flung himself forward then he twisted his legs and kicked him but Romeo caught him mid air.
"You think you are smart?" He said and shot his beam at him.
Xero crashed into the wall opposite them. His body shivered lightly as he blood dripped from his head.

"Fuck. Damn it. I have to get away from him. He is too dangerous." Xero muttered to himself as he watched Romeo walk towards him.
Then the ground swallowed him again and shot him in front of Romeo perfect enough for him to strike his fist into Xero’s stomach. Then he spat out blood on Romeo’s face.
"Stupid you." Romeo said and kicked him over to the other side. He grinned as he noticed that Xero’s hp was 0/10.

"I think I just killed a brat." Romeo let out and then he noticed that Genos was holding his own against the silver haired guy.
Genos was using a strange dark energy to amour himself against the silver haired guy’s gravity magic. They had been exchanging hits for about ten minutes and both were exhausted. Blood dripped from both them.
The silver haired guy wondered how a level 9 was able to keep with a level 16 like he was. It wasn’t like there was anything unique about Genos but he was confused about the whole situation.
"What the hell are you?" The silver haired guy asked after noticing that his efforts were futile.
"I’m Genos Dan. Have a reputation of beating my superiors." He said and his gaze went hollow when he heard Romeo’s voice from behind.
In an instant, he appeared in front of him. Romeo gasped in shock. His speed was insane and he tried to move backwards but Genos held him by the neck.
"I forbid you from breathing in four minutes."
Romeo stared at him in shock. He tried to talk but his breath paused and he choked on his words. Fear and terror appeared on his face.
"Now you are responsible for Xero’s death?" He asked as dark shadows wrapped around his hands.
Romeo nodded lightly and tears hung in his eyes. He hadn’t experienced this quantum of fear in a while.
"How do you like your death?" Genos was about charging at him when his body gave out on him.
He turned backwards and noticed that the silver haired guy had caught up to him. He gritted his teeth in anger and frustration.
The the five year twos gathered around him snarling widely. He cursed his weight as he noticed that they had closed up on him.
"Fuck, where the hell is she?"
