I Am Already A Queen

Chapter 80: Get Her Uniform Tailored

Chapter 80: Chapter 80: Get Her Uniform Tailored

Qiao Meixia had probably learned every single piece of advanced logic simply by reading random books and surfing the open internet. No wonder she did not have the slightest clue what the prestigious Mathematical or Physics Olympiads were.

"I understand the situation now. However, a transcendent genius like Miss Qiao should absolutely not be confined to a standard high school curriculum. With her level of intellect, she should already be fast-tracked to study at a top-tier university level." Professor Chen Ming stated firmly, his eyes burning with the desire to recruit her.

"That’s exactly right, she would be wasting her time here." Professor Li Guowei nodded in fervent agreement.

"No..." Qiao Meixia rejected the grand offer immediately, her voice flat and completely devoid of hesitation.

Everyone whipped their heads back toward Qiao Meixia in sheer astonishment. They had naturally assumed she would leap at the chance to skip high school, never expecting that the genius girl herself would be the one flatly turning down the golden opportunity.

"Student Qiao, may I know the reason why you are rejecting our suggestion so quickly?" Vice Principal Zhang Yong asked gently, highly intrigued by her mindset.

"I simply want to experience what a normal school feels like." Qiao Meixia stated plainly.

The room fell into another profound silence.

Then, looking at her youthful face, the elderly professors finally understood the emotional weight behind her simple words. Because Qiao Meixia had spent her entire childhood deprived of a normal life, she did not care about academic shortcuts. She genuinely just wanted to experience the ordinary, everyday life of a student.

"We understand... we completely understand." Professor Li Guowei burst into a hearty, deeply amused laugh. Then, he leaned forward and countered, "Fine! But after you graduate from this high school, you must absolutely join my department and become my personal disciple!"

Before Qiao Meixia could even open her mouth to reply, Professor Chen Ming hurriedly cut in, pushing his colleague out of the way.

"Why on earth should she join your boring mathematics department? She can easily join my physics department and become my prize student instead!" Professor Chen Ming glared fiercely at Professor Li Guowei.

"Why physics? She solved the Mathematical Olympiad paper perfectly without a single error!" Professor Li Guowei argued loudly, his face turning red.

Professor Chen Ming let out a loud, mocking snort.

"Open your eyes, old man! She also solved the Physics Olympiad paper perfectly without a single error!" Professor Chen Ming said.

Within seconds, the two highly respected, elderly department heads began arguing fiercely right in the middle of the vice principal’s office, trading academic insults back and forth. The remaining professors and school officials could only watch the chaotic scene unfold with completely helpless expressions.

Meanwhile, entirely unbothered by the academic war brewing over her future, Qiao Meixia quietly turned her body toward Jiang Suhan.

"So, can I officially register as a student here now?" Qiao Meixia asked, focusing strictly on her original goal.

Jiang Suhan looked at the two revered department heads, who had practically rolled up their sleeves and were about to throw physical punches over his sister. Then, he looked down at his utterly calm, deadpan younger sister.

For some inexplicable reason, a sudden wave of amusement washed over him, and he desperately wanted to burst out laughing.

His little sister...

It turned out that she was far, far more extraordinary than anyone in the arrogant Jiang Family could have ever possibly imagined.

In the end, after all the explosive academic chaos, Qiao Meixia successfully completed her registration as an official student at Hannan First High School. As for the two warring department heads, they finally managed to calm down and regain their composure for the time being.

However, they adamantly insisted to Qiao Meixia that they would be calling her on a regular basis just to ask about her academic well-being and track her progress. Under their relentless enthusiasm, Qiao Meixia calmly exchanged contact information with both of the elite professors.

Seeing this, the other senior teachers and recruiters from the various rival universities eagerly stepped forward, wanting nothing more than to exchange contact information with Qiao Meixia as well. Unfortunately for them, after being fiercely glared down by the two protective department heads, they simply did not possess the courage to push their luck any further.

With her admission fully secured, Qiao Meixia finally left the vice principal’s office side by side with Jiang Suhan.

As they walked down the quiet, polished hallway, Jiang Suhan looked down at his sister, his chest swelling with an immense sense of pride.

"Qiaoqiao... my little sister, you are truly, genuinely amazing." Jiang Suhan said, his voice dripping with pure admiration.

"It is really nothing." Qiao Meixia replied flatly, though she slightly averted her gaze, feeling a rare flicker of embarrassment when Jiang Suhan praised her so openly like that.

"Well, since you have successfully enrolled at Hannan First High School, we need to take care of the next essential step. We need to buy your official school uniforms." Jiang Suhan stated, stepping back into his efficient, logistical mindset.

Without wasting any time, Jiang Suhan drove Qiao Meixia straight to the prestigious boutique where the elite students of Hannan First High School always sourced their specialised attire.

The establishment was called Suyu Clothes Shop. On the surface, the name sounded entirely ordinary and understated, but the wealthy history hidden behind the storefront told a completely different story of high-society luxury.

The boutique boasted a rich, uninterrupted history of more than two hundred years, and it belonged exclusively to the mysterious and powerful Yin Family. Every single piece of clothing produced by this shop was meticulously custom-made by hand, catering strictly to old-money families and high-ranking officials.

In fact, Jiang Suhan himself preferred to order his bespoke business suits from this exact shop, as their generational craftsmanship was completely flawless and seamless.

When Jiang Suhan pushed open the heavy wooden door to the boutique, the brass bell hanging delicately above it rang softly, releasing a clear, melodic chime. Both Qiao Meixia and Jiang Suhan stepped inside, greeted by the faint, comforting scent of high-end silk and cedarwood. Not long after their arrival, a graceful woman wearing an elegant, intricately embroidered qipao emerged from behind a heavy velvet curtain.

"Welcome to Suyu." The woman smiled warmly, her posture radiating natural refinement.

"Auntie Chenxi, it has been a long time since we last met." Jiang Suhan greeted the woman with profound, respectful courtesy, bowing his head slightly.

"Oh... It’s you, Suhan." Yin Chenxi smiled brightly as she recognised the young CEO. Then, her sharp, experienced eyes naturally glanced at the young girl standing quietly just a step behind him. "I see you brought someone special with you today."

"Hmm... Auntie Chenxi, this is my sister, Qiaoqiao." Jiang Suhan introduced Qiao Meixia to Yin Chenxi, his tone carrying an unmistakable warmth.

"Your sister... I thought..." Yin Chenxi stopped herself midway through the sentence, her eyes widening slightly as she recalled the high-society rumours about the Jiang family’s hidden dynamics.

However, being a woman of immense tact, she quickly masked her surprise and turned a gentle, welcoming smile toward Qiao Meixia.

"Hello, young lady. I am Yin Chenxi. You can simply call me Auntie Chenxi, just like your elder brother does." Yin Chenxi smiled gently.

"Hello," Qiao Meixia nodded politely at Yin Chenxi, her sharp eyes calmly observing the woman’s elegant demeanour.

"So, what brings the busy CEO of the Jiang Group to my humble shop today?" Yin Chenxi asked, tilting her head with a soft chuckle.

"My little sister needs her tailored school uniforms. She will be officially studying at Hannan First High School starting tomorrow." Jiang Suhan explained.

"A student of Hannan First? Splendid. In that case, we need to take her exact physical measurements first to ensure a perfect fit." Yin Chenxi stated professionally. Then, she extended a hand toward the inner hallway and turned to Qiao Meixia. "Come along, little girl, follow me into the fitting room."

"I will wait out here for you." Jiang Suhan said softly to Qiao Meixia, offering her a reassuring nod as he gestured toward the plush, luxury leather seating area in the lobby.

Giving him a silent, compliant nod in return, Qiao Meixia calmly turned and followed Yin Chenxi into one of the private, softly lit measurement rooms, the heavy velvet curtain sealing out the rest of the world.

"You can go ahead and remove your outer garments, dear. I will take your measurement now." Yin Chenxi said gently, pulling a soft silk measuring tape from around her neck.

Qiao Meixia paused, her posture slightly rigid. "Do I absolutely need to take them off?"
