Jian Wufeng’s eyes widened in sudden horror. Three hundred years ago, his senior brother had been killed during the war against the demonic sect. The realization struck him like a physical blow. "It is impossible. You... Demonic Ancestor Mo!"

"In the spirit," He laughed through Cang Yun’s voice. "Hahaha!"

Jian Wufeng did not hesitate. His eyes turned bloodshot, and he raised his hand, instantly materializing three glowing swords of pure Qi. They hummed with terrifying pressure, the surrounding air growing so heavy that low-level disciples in the front rows gasped for breath. The three blades shot toward him like streaks of white lightning.

The Demonic Ancestor simply clicked his fingers, his eyes cold. "Be careful now."

Three nearby branded disciples suddenly lunged forward, their eyes vacant as they threw their bodies in front of the white light. The pure Qi swords pierced through their chests, piercing their hearts and killing them instantly.

At the same time, the remaining branded disciples in the crowd went wild. They drew their swords and began attacking nearby disciples, triggering massive panic and screams throughout the arena. Zhou Heng broke free from his restraints and also began attacking blindly. All remaining elders scattered to stabilize the situation.

As the blood sprayed, he did not retreat. Instead, he raised Cang Yun’s sword, placing the blade vertically before his chest in a silent, heavy stance. The air around him subtly warped, carrying a faint, sky-shearing weight.

Jian Wufeng’s eyes flared with absolute fury, his voice shaking with raw hatred. "That stance... You... you stole it from my senior brother!"

"Stole?" He laughed, his eyes flashing coldly through Cang Yun’s pale face. "I simply extracted it from his soul before extinguishing it. Do not worry, it is a decent technique, it will serve me well."

With a sudden step forward, He slashed the blade downward. A sharp, grey crescent of sword Qi severed the air, tearing a line across the stone stage directly toward Jian Wufeng. The strike was silent and heavy, carrying the unmistakable weight of the first form of the Heaven Sundering Sword Technique.

Jian Wufeng did not panic. With a simple slide of his feet, his body blurred, letting the grey crescent pass harmlessly beside him to carve a deep fissure into the distant gallery.

In the chaos, Su Ming rushed forward, catching Jian Wushen before he could hit the hard stone floor. He pressed his palms against Jian Wushen’s back, channeling his Qi in a desperate bid to stop the poison from spreading.

Demonic Ancestor Mo watched them, laughing wickedly. He pointed a finger at the dying Jian Wushen. "This Jian Wushen, he is your blood, isn’t he? You guys destroyed my sect, so I took your blood."

Jian Wufeng’s face turned red with rage, his sword Qi flaring as he sealed the surrounding space, locking the spatial boundaries of the stage to prevent any escape. "Do you think you will be able to leave after causing this much havoc?"

"Who can stop me?" He sneered.

He locked eyes with Su Ming, his gaze dripping with deep hatred. "You... Master of the White Lotus Peak... I’ll remember you. From this day on, whether you step outside of this sect or stay within it, I will be watching. I will have my revenge for you ruining my plan."

He then shifted his cold stare to Jian Wufeng, his lips curling into a final, mocking sneer. "And tell the Devil of Lightning that it is not over."

With a sharp mental command, he instructed Zhou Heng and the remaining branded disciples to self-detonate. Soon, their skins flared with violent, glowing crimson veins. Elder Cang Yun’s physical body swelled up as well.

Then, with a deafening explosion, blood and Qi erupted on the stage, throwing the entire arena into absolute chaos.

As the dust settled, emergency bells echoed across the peaks. In the sky, several powerful auras rushed toward the ruined stage. Jian Wufeng lowered his sword barrier and dropped to his knees beside the unconscious Jian Wushen.

He scanned his disciple, his face growing paler by the second. "The poison is too severe. We must bring him to the Medicine Hall immediately."

"Wait, Peak Master Jian," Su Ming interrupted, his voice sharp.

"There is no time to waste!" Jian Wufeng barked. With his Saint Realm strength, he could teleport them directly to the Medicine Hall in an instant.

But Su Ming did not back down. Through his activated Essence Sight and the Halo of Insight, he could see what the Peak Master could not. The dark purple traces of the Demonic Soul Poison were actively corroding his soul. Teleporting him now would do nothing, and even the Medicine Hall would not be able to save him if the condition became too severe.

There was only one option. He had to use his white flames to purge the poison. Yet, Su Ming felt a flicker of doubt. The flame was extremely potent, and there was a real risk he might accidentally damage Jian Wushen’s soul as well. But with Jian Wushen’s life on the line, he had no time to worry about the risks.

"It will be too late," Su Ming said, looking directly into the Peak Master’s eyes. "Peak Master Jian, I have a secret technique that can purge this poison before it destroys his soul. But I need a sealed space. No one else can see this."

Jian Wufeng hesitated. A guest Peak Master claiming he could purge a demonic soul poison that even he could not suppress sounded absurd. But then he remembered Wang Tian. Su Ming had reconstructed the boy’s meridians, leading to him awakening a legendary sword physique. The miracle was still fresh in his mind.

"Be quick," Jian Wufeng said, deciding to give him a chance.

With a swift flick of his fingers, Jian Wufeng isolated the stage, erecting a dense, cube-shaped barrier that cut off all external views. Within the sealed space, only the three of them remained.

This put Su Ming in a somewhat awkward position under the Peak Master’s watchful eye, but he remained calm.

"Begin," Jian Wufeng said with a stern look.

To avoid explaining the origin of his white flame, Su Ming began forming a series of complex hand seals, muttering incantations silently. He did not want to simply produce the flames without some cover.

Jian Wushen groaned in his sleep, his body trembling. Su Ming pressed his hand against his chest. "Brother Jian, please open your soul sea. Do not obstruct."

In a sudden flash, bright white flames erupted on Su Ming’s palm. Guided by his Essence Sight and the Halo of Insight, he sent the flames deep into Jian Wushen’s body. Piece by piece, the flames purged the purple poison, erasing it completely.

Su Ming withdrew his hand and exhaled slowly. "It is done now. Please bring us to the Medicine Hall. He still needs medicinal treatment to recover."
