After several minutes of reading, Lukas found the first truly important explanation. The Mana Source was already naturally connected to the heart, which meant that the torso and internal organs already received a minimal amount of mana simply by being around it.

However, the arms, legs, and head remained practically isolated, separated from the main flow.

Without stable channels, mana would never be able to reach those regions. That was why the Lunar Connection Method existed.

The manual described five major connections that every practitioner had to open before learning any body reinforcement technique.

The first was the left leg. The second, the right leg. The third, the left arm. The fourth, the right arm. And the fifth and final one, the head.

Beside that last illustration, a warning was written in red ink, its vivid color contrasting with the sepia tone of the pages.

"Never attempt to connect the head before mastering the previous four channels."

Below it, another note drew even more attention.

"The mana near the brain is extremely sensitive. A single mistake may cause intense pain, temporary loss of the senses, or even permanent damage to the channels."

Lukas swallowed hard, a chill running down his spine. This was far more dangerous than he had imagined. The Lunar Source was difficult, requiring patience and concentration, but it was not particularly dangerous. Connecting the channels... could have permanent consequences.

He continued reading carefully, his eyes following every line. The method was very similar to the process of creating the Source. First, the practitioner had to mentally visualize a thin, silver path extending from the Lunar Source, a line of light stretching through the body.

Then, they had to imagine that path slowly passing through the body until it reached the chosen region, like water carving out a riverbed. Only when the image became perfectly stable in the mind was it permitted to begin moving mana, never before.

The Lunar Breathing remained exactly the same. Inhale. Feel the mana. Guide it. Exhale slowly. Particle by particle, layer by layer.

The manual emphasized several times that these channels did not appear instantly. They had to be built, like a road opened by removing one stone after another. Mana slowly carved an invisible path inside the body, each passage leaving a deeper mark.

The more times that path was traveled, the wider, stronger, and more efficient it would become.

Lukas finished his first reading, turning the last page. Without hesitation, he returned to the first page. He read everything again, this time even more slowly, absorbing every detail.

He studied each illustration, examining the angles, the flows, and the connections. He memorized the position of the channels, visualizing them within his own body. He committed every warning and every caution about the dangers to memory.

Only when he was certain he had understood everything, when the words seemed engraved into his memory, did he carefully close the book, his hands holding the cover with reverence.

The moon had climbed even higher into the sky, its silver light bathing the clearing in an ethereal glow. Clavor, who had remained silent the entire time, his eyes patiently watching his son, looked at him.

"Finished?"

Lukas nodded, his voice firm.

"I read it twice."

"Excellent." Clavor crossed his arms, his eyes fixed on his son.

"Then explain it."

Lukas took a deep breath before beginning, organizing his thoughts.

"The Lunar Source is already complete and connected to the heart. But that doesn’t mean mana can circulate through the rest of the body."

He paused briefly, gathering his words.

"I still have to build the channels that will carry that energy to my limbs. Without them, the mana remains trapped in the torso."

Clavor remained silent, encouraging him to continue with his gaze.

"There are five main connections." Lukas raised the book, indicating its cover.

"First the left leg. Then the right. After that, the left arm, the right arm, and finally, the head."

He flipped through a few pages until he found the diagram showing the complete channels.

"Each channel has to be built using Lunar Breathing. First, I visualize a silver line connecting the Source to the chosen limb. Then I guide small amounts of mana along that path until it stops being just imagination and becomes real."

Clavor smiled faintly, a smile of approval.

"Go on."

"I can’t force it." Lukas replied immediately, remembering the book’s warnings.

"If I try to push too much mana through, the channel could rupture before becoming stable. The mana would disperse, and all the work would have to be done again. It’s like trying to dig a canal through dry earth. If you force it too much, the walls collapse."

"And the head?" Clavor’s question was direct, testing his understanding.

"It has to be the last region." Lukas answered without hesitation.

"Because it’s the most delicate connection. Any mistake could damage the senses or the brain."

Clavor’s smile grew slightly wider, his eyes shining with pride.

"Excellent."

He placed one hand on his son’s shoulder, his touch firm and warm.

"You understood exactly what you needed to."

Lukas smiled, feeling the warmth of his father’s approval.

"So... can we begin?"

Clavor raised his eyes to the moon, evaluating its position in the sky. It had already reached the ideal position, its brightest light bathing the clearing. The nighttime mana was calm, pure, and stable, perfect for constructing new channels.

It was the perfect moment.

"Yes." His voice was firm, filled with authority.

"For the next five days, we will build one major channel each night."

He looked directly at Lukas, his eyes meeting his son’s violet eyes.

"Tonight, we’ll begin with the left leg."

Lukas’s heart raced, a wave of excitement surging through his body. At last, the time had come to take the next step, to build the pathways that would carry his mana to every part of his being.

Without wasting any time, he sat back down in the center of the clearing. Legs crossed. Spine straight. Palms facing upward. The position that had become so familiar during those five nights.

He took a deep breath, feeling the cool air fill his lungs. He closed his eyes, sinking into the darkness within.

Inside his chest, the small moon pulsed serenely, its silver light shining at its core. This time, however, he did not simply remain observing that light.

In his mind, he imagined an extremely thin line emerging from the base of the Lunar Source, a thread of silver light extending like a root.

It slowly descended through his chest, passed his abdomen, crossed his left hip, and continued through his thigh, knee, calf, and ankle until it finally reached the tip of his left foot.

A delicate, silver, almost transparent line, a path that did not yet exist, but one he was about to create.

When the image remained firm in his mind, stable and clear, Lukas once again began the Lunar Breathing.

He inhaled. He felt the mana around him, the particles floating in the night air. And for the first time since creating his Source, he tried to guide that energy beyond his heart.
