Seris moved, this time her speed could not be compared to before, not only because of her increased power but because her body was no longer following its own natural limits.

But this enemy was a Calamity.

For a normal human it was almost nothing but for them and in a battle this important, it mattered a lot.
At that moment, Darian’s arrow was fired.
The seven-colored light hit Lian’s knee, the balance of his body changed for a fraction of a second and suddenly a huge explosion happened and a mushroom of fire covered an area of several hundred meters.
It was like a destructive bomb had fallen on him from above and the temperature around them suddenly rose to several thousand degrees.
And Seris came down from above and used the chance to its fullest.

The ground under them exploded, the force pushed the dirt away for dozens of meters and the sound of a bone cracking was heard.
One of the bones in Lian’s hand cracked, his purple eyes narrowed slightly.
Seris gave a cold smile.
"Finally and now you understand pain" she said with calm anger and immediately moved back.
Black Silence did not answer, his other hand went directly toward Seris’s neck.
Darian released the bowstring again and the seven-colored arrow hit the Calamity’s wrist, the path of the punch changed by only a few centimeters.
That was enough and the punch passed beside the girl’s face.
The wind from it cut the skin of her cheek but she was alive and moved her sword at the same moment.

Only the coordinates were selected, Lian’s chest and SHHK!
A deep cut suddenly appeared on his chest, blood sprayed from the wound and Black Silence actually took one step back.
Seris’s eyes opened wider, they were actually succeeding to some degree.
Inside Lian’s Ruined Heart, he saw that scene, a body that was actually injured, he did not expect this girl to have hidden such a trump card.
"This is it." he said in his mind with cold satisfaction.
Now Seris could kill his body.
But Black Silence only needed a few attacks to understand the pattern, the huge shadow behind his body suddenly gathered and the pressure around them became several times stronger.
The Young Pendragon noticed the change but it was already too late and something opened behind her.
A mouth.
Or something that her mind could only see as a mouth.
The space behind her sank inward and she wanted to move but a wave of darkness hit her back and her body was thrown forward.
Her ribs broke and part of her side opened, blood flowed out.
But Sovereign’s Last Stand did not allow her to fall, her feet dragged across the ground and she turned and swung her sword.
Black Silence grabbed her left arm and applied huge pressure.
A cracking sound echoed and another bone in the girl’s body broke.
Darian immediately moved away from a Cindari swordsman who was trying to hunt him after seeing that scene, and fired another arrow toward Black Silence.
The arrow hit Lian’s shoulder and his strength to hold became weak for a moment and that was enough for Seris to free herself.
Although her other arm was almost numb, she could barely feel the shoulder on that side of her body even now.
But the sword was still in her hand and that was enough, at least she could still continue, but for how long... that was another question.
"It’s not over yet." Seris said between heavy breaths and attacked again.
At the same time, the massacre behind them continued.
The Root Controller lifted Selina from the ground with three roots, the girl struggled in the air for several seconds and then the roots pulled her from three directions.
A body that was almost injured to the point of death fell down.
Aren immediately intervened when he saw that scene, he moved his hand and the ground moved, pushed the girl away and the Cindari angrily targeted him.
And now the native of the Ruined Realm itself retreated and used a strategy of escaping.
Rindo looked around for a moment, there were no support forces left, no Cindari, no selected Awakened and now even Selina was practically out of the battle.
The others could not even fight anymore and were mostly trying to escape from those damn things, although even in that they were not very lucky.
They were only lucky that Seraphina, Darian, Aren and himself were still able to continue and create a chance for the others to at least not be killed.
He was a little glad that they had brought Darian with them, although they had a bad feeling about him, he had been a great help for them.

She dodged, but the force of the punch hit her shoulder and finally the bone broke.
But the body continued moving despite the broken bone.

Darian coughed up more blood and the seven rings behind his bow were becoming dimmer one by one.
He gritted his teeth, he was fighting one of the four Cindari and was also supporting Seris.
But his power also had a limit and he was getting close to it.
On the other side, inside the Ruined Heart, Lian was seeing everything, the result was already clear, the Young Pendragon had the ability to kill him and only needed one chance.
The panel in front of him was still there.

He moved his entire existence close to the edge of the Ruined Heart.
But he still did not move.
"Not yet." he said in his mind.
Black Silence still had part of his attention on the battlefield around him.
Seris was still not dangerous enough to force the Calamity to put all of his focus on her.
Lian waited, his instinct told him that the best chance was not far away.
