Time was running out faster than he wanted, and the Black Silence seemed to have reached the same conclusion.
It no longer moved forward to kill Lian, instead it moved back and its entire huge structure was being pulled toward the exit, wanting to completely leave this body.
"I’m not letting you do that." Lian said coldly and opened both his hands toward it.

The sound of metal being dragged spread through the entire realm.
Grrrrrrrrr!
Suddenly, the golden lights surrounding him became solid and metallic, and through his hands, they shot toward the Calamity like a spider web.
A chain wrapped around one of the main parts of the Black Silence.
A second one came out.
Then a third.
The Calamity suddenly stopped, the chains became tight and it tried to free itself by forcefully pulling them, but just touching that golden light was enough to make its body start burning.
But the Black Silence struggled and, while enduring the pain, tried to break the chains, and one of the chains made a cracking sound at that moment.
"They’re not that strong." Lian said with a slight frown, but he grabbed the chains with both hands.
Pressure was applied.
But this was not just a simple struggle between holding the chains, each side had a very important goal and they were using all their strength.
The Black Silence knew that it was facing something unknown, and if it did not escape right now, it would truly be destroyed and truly disappear.
And Lian could not let it leave, because aside from the fact that this great threat would remain alive and might return in the future, his Evolution Quest would not be completed either.
That was why neither side was willing to stop using force.

"You disappeared once before. And now I will eat you again!" It said in a deep voice as darkness began to crawl over Lian’s spiritual body.
Part of Lian’s form disappeared from below his shoulder.
The pain was real this time, Young Vorhelm felt like a part of his existence had been torn apart, this pain was beyond the physical level, this was a pain that made the soul itself shake.
But the Ruined Heart did not immediately repair him and the pieces of his existence spread through the air like glass, and his spiritual body began to disappear.
Then golden light passed between them and the pieces returned one by one.
Every piece felt like a hot nail being driven into his soul when it connected again.
He let out a short sound of pain but did not release the chain.
"The first time... you caught me off guard." He said through the pressure and took another spiritual step backward.
The chain became tight and the Black Silence was pulled several more meters toward the Heart, and the golden light around it became stronger.
"This time, it’s my turn." Lian pulled the chains with all his will.
The Calamity roared and the Spiritual Realm shook.

Lian saw the last number, he had less than a minute left and the Black Silence was still outside the Ruined Heart.
It was far too large for three chains to hold easily, and he needed to weaken it, but at that moment the Calamity attacked him itself.
One of the fixed appendages inside the Ruined Boundary struck Lian’s existence directly.
Half of his spiritual body from the waist up was destroyed and for a moment only darkness remained.
Unimaginable pain pushed against his awareness, if he had a body, he might have lost consciousness at that moment.
But there was nothing here that could become unconscious, and the pieces of his existence appeared in the air again.
The Ruined Heart gathered them.
They all came together again like pieces of broken glass.
"This... really hurt." Lian had no breath, but he felt like he needed to breathe and said with calm anger.
The Black Silence attacked again, but this time he raised his hand.

The Calamity was pulled backward and clear fear spread through its presence.
Something had been taken from it, a complete part of it was gone, forever and there was no way to deny it anymore.
That creature was not indestructible, at least not against this thing, this thing whose nature was completely unknown and even it, which should have been able to understand everything, could not identify it.
"This should not exist." The Black Silence stared at the Heart and said quietly.
"Something in the mortal worlds should not be able to hurt us." It continued and its remaining mouths opened one after another.
"Us?" Lian raised an eyebrow in his mind, so he was not the only one.
Of course, he knew this from its memories, the Father, the five Calamities that seemed to be his children, he already knew about them, but hearing direct confirmation was still valuable.
The Black Silence looked toward the exit and said a name that made Young Vorhelm become completely serious.
"Father must know." It said in a way that was more like an instinctive necessity, it could not let a threat that could destroy them remain unknown.
Lian’s eyes narrowed slightly, "Father", the same existence, something that even the Black Silence seemed small in front of.
"He’s not going to understand anything, and you’re not leaving this place either." He then said simply and pulled the chain harder.
"You don’t understand what you have, that thing should not exist!" The Calamity turned back and answered with anger mixed with anxiety.
"I agree with you on that, but I don’t think you’ll have time to explain it to me." He replied dryly.
He was not stupid enough to think that bringing something like this upon the true structure of an existence created to destroy worlds was simple.
It was true that no matter how powerful the Calamity was, it needed a vessel that could carry it and with its help spread chaos, destruction and ruin.
But even so, this was still not something that just anyone, no matter how powerful, could deal with easily.
This strange power showed what kind of abilities the Ruined Heart had, and it made him even more curious about what exactly he was facing.

The golden light inside the links went out and the Black Silence was immediately pulled several meters toward the exit.
Lian held the two remaining chains with all his strength and put all his power into them.
Suddenly, more golden lights shot from his hands toward the Black Silence and more chains surrounded it.
Before it could do anything, it was forcefully pulled toward the opening of the Heart.
The Heart beat.
Boom.
The five empty slots lit up at the same time for the first time.
Lian turned to look, the light in four of the slots immediately disappeared, but one remained lit, purple, and a dark purple aura rose from the hollow.
The shape of the slot began to change, as if something inside it had finally recognized the presence of the Black Silence.
A panel appeared.

The Black Silence stopped at that moment and its entire existence turned back toward the Heart, it understood, not what this slot was, but its instinct understood that it was not going to be imprisoned.
Something else was going to happen, something it really did not like and a bad feeling filled it.

The entire Ruined Heart opened, not just the same crack as before, but its structure spread open like a huge mouth made of golden light and cracked blackness.
A pulling force appeared and the Calamity screamed for the first time, truly screamed, a scream of fear!
"No! Father, save me!"
