I Can Level Up Infinitely

Hundreds of millions of kilometers away, in a distant world which definitely wasn’t Earth, not heaven, not Nexar either.

A young woman was sitting beside a tree.

The girl was gently rubbing her palm against a withered branch. The branch seemed drained of life. But with each gentle stroke of her hand, it grew lively, color returning.

Long brown hair was tied in a ponytail, leaving some loose strands that billowed slightly in the cool breeze. Her face was enchanting. Just one look would be enough to make anyone forget about their own existence. Though she looked like a human, her pointed ears were telling a different story.

Her dress left her slender collarbones exposed, their graceful curves adding a quiet charm to her beauty.

"Miss Aurelia... Miss Aurelia..." Suddenly, a frantic scream shattered the peaceful atmosphere as a young girl who looked to be around fifteen years old came running from a distance toward the young woman sitting beside the tree. She too had pointed ears.

Stopping before her, she doubled over in exhaustion and started panting.

"Molly." Finally, the female sitting beside the tree spoke, her melodious voice resonated through the air like a note from a celestial harp.

"Miss Aurelia... That sword. That sword left the Hasar Peak." She somehow managed to utter those words between her ragged breaths.

"What?" Aurelia abruptly stood up. "Who took that sword?" She asked hurriedly.

Molly stood up straight. She could feel the urgency in Aurelia’s voice. "No one, Miss Aurelia. That sword..." She paused, looking hesitant. She didn’t know how to say it because whatever it was, she herself felt troubled believing it.

"That sword what?" Aurelia reached her and grabbed her shoulders anxiously. "Tell me quickly."

"That sword left on its own, Miss Aurelia. Nobody took it."

Aurelia’s arms fell to her side as she dropped to her knees. "Logan." She whispered. "You are finally back." Tears rolled down her cheeks uncontrollably.

Meanwhile, in another world far, far away, a giant crimson figure sat atop a throne beneath a crimson sky. It was at least one hundred meters tall. Its muscles bulged like iron slabs. Two horns jutted out from its head.

Another figure, not even half its size, approached and knelt on the rugged ground. "My King." The kneeling figure spoke. It also had red skin, jutting horns, and a ferocious look. "The Demon Sword... It woke up from its slumber. The time has come."

"Hahahahahah." The giant figure started laughing. "Took him long enough. But now that he’s finally back, bring me his blood. I can’t wait any longer."

"Certainly, My King." The kneeling figure spoke.

"Take the other three generals with you. He had been planning this reincarnation for a long time. Don’t make a mistake, or all of you will die."

"Yes, My King." The figure stood up, bowed before the giant figure, and left.

The giant figure grinned. "Logan. That sword and the bloodline. They are definitely going to be mine this time. Resist all you want, but you can’t run away anymore. I have been making preparations as well."

Back in the mountaintop...

Sylus was standing on one side, Snow still in his hand.

On the other side, the young man and the girl now stood together. "Chen, if we don’t work together, even with that sword, you won’t be his match. Let me know what you decide, but make it fast." The young girl spoke.

"Who would put their trust in you in their right mind, Amber?" The young man with the sword sneered. "And even if I do trust you, who gets to keep the pill once we defeat him? There is only one."

Before the girl could speak, a lightning bolt struck where they stood. Both Amber and Chen leaped back, dodging the attack.

"Who gets to keep the pill? You two dimwits... Do you really think you can win against me even if you two work together? Then let me show you what real power feels like. And let me teach something valuable as well. That’s not to overestimate your own power." Saying that, Sylus raised his hand.

Dark clouds gathered in the sky as lightning rumbled.

"Lightning curse." Sylus roared.

Instantly, one after another, lightning bolts started descending from the sky.

Chen jumped and moved to his side.

Booooooooooom! Only a split second later, the place he was standing in exploded.

Amber also dodged an attack narrowly. Her two male companions were in a worse state. One tried to dodge an attack, but his speed wasn’t as fast as his senior sister. A lightning bolt slammed against his chest, charring the clothes instantly as lightning danced across his whole body. His body was flung through the air.

The girl’s expression darkened. While dodging, she brought out a spear and hurled it toward Sylus.

Whoooooosh!

The spear whistled through the air and streaked toward Sylus.

Sylus raised his hand as an arrow materialized before his palm. An arrow made from pure lightning energy. It crackled as if dying to be unleashed.

As Sylus made a thrusting motion, that arrow shot forward like a blue streak and struck the spear.

Booooooom! A shockwave erupted as the spear shattered into countless pieces. The arrow continued forward and struck Amber as well.

Zaappppppp!

White, blue arcs of energy danced across her body as she was blasted away from her place.

Chen used this chance to close in on Sylus from his blind spot and unleashed a sword swing.

Sylus’s arm moved, his hand grabbing the blade. Lightning crackled around his arm like a gauntlet. Sylus made a clenching motion, wanting to break the sword.

But it didn’t. The sword was really too powerful.

Chen grinned at this, but before his lips could stretch fully, Sylus’s hand moved.

Sylus let go of Snow for a moment and delivered a punch right on his face.

Chen whistled through the air like a cannonball.

In mere minutes, both Chen and Amber lay sprawled on the ground.

"Well?" Sylus looked down at them with a mocking smile. "Still want to decide who gets the pill after defeating me?"
