The middle-aged man continued. "I will go inside the dungeon with you as well. But I won’t provide any support. My job is to note down all your contributions. Nadeem and Nolan also stood in the distance, not joining any group. They were looking at Leon.

At those words, everyone checked if their weapons and gear were okay.

Five minutes passed in the blink of an eye... And soon, it was time for everyone to enter the dungeon.

Everyone stood before the dungeon, the man in uniform in the lead. The dungeon gate shimmered, blue energy rippling on the surface.

The man in uniform walked forward, disappearing on the other side of the dungeon gate.

Once inside, they found themselves standing in a totally different place and nothing looked like a dungeon’s interior should have looked like.

’The gate was a transportation gate.’ Leon mused. ’But it’s looking different from Nexar.’

Tall buildings stood proudly. There were three suns shining in the azure sky.

’Buildings inside a dungeon? That’s a first.’ Leon thought. Others didn’t feel it was that strange, though. Which meant they had seen similar territories inside a dungeon before.

The group didn’t have to wait long as hungry growls echoed.

Many reptilian monsters crawled around the sides of the buildings and came into view.

Many aerial monsters landed on the roofs of the buildings.

Leon narrowed his eyes. Only the environment and the structure weren’t strange. He noticed something else. Each monster had a collar on its throat. As if they were pet animals.

Hummmmmmmm!

A huge bat-like monster hovered in the air and whipped its wings. A shockwave shot downward toward the group of fighters.

Booooooooooom! Everyone dispersed instantly as a loud bang echoed.

The reptilian monsters jumped from the buildings and started descending.

All took fighting stances. But just then, hungry growls came from behind as well. A few of them turned, only to find that monsters were lunging at them from the back as well.

A fight broke out instantly.

Whoooosh!

Claws slashed through the air. The attacker was a humanoid boar with tiger-like skin color. But unfortunately, its opponent was Nolan. His sword flashed once before the monster’s head rolled down.

Two more came at him from above, but his sword moved like a blur, blocking both attacks. With one more swing, both monsters were cleaved in half.

Leon hadn’t even moved. For some reason, monsters were totally avoiding him as if he himself was a monster. Beside him, Snow was also busy fighting. Fireballs shot forward one after another, killing monsters with ease.

Meanwhile, the male and female, who were actually twins, were also fighting, but their focus was on Leon. They were observing his every movement.

One humanoid boar lunged at the male one. He ducked the attack with ease and delivered a flying kick. Multiple lightning spheres shot out from his palm and struck the monster. "Maggie." He spoke while fighting another monster. "Why isn’t any monster attacking him?"

Whoooooosh!

Claws whistled through the air. The female one slashed her icy sword and sent the monster flying. "How can I say? Is he my boyfriend or something?"

"There is no energy emitting from his body. Yet for some reason, I feel like the moment I decide to strike him will be the end of life."

"Javier, since when did you become so delusional? I think he’s just maintaining a tough look to avoid most of the trouble." Maggie said that, but she too felt something was wrong.

The horde of monsters that had attacked weren’t that strong. The strongest one among them was only a D-Class orc.

As a result, soon all the monsters were dealt with. Like Leon and Snow, Nolan and Nadeem also hadn’t joined any group.

But they both walked toward Leon and Snow.

Leon, meanwhile, walked forward and crouched down beside a monster corpse. He checked the wound and then the collar at the throat of the monster. The moment he touched the collar...

Lightning erupted from the collar and struck him. Even though the monster was dead, something in its body still had the power to send him flying.

Something small and sharp whistled by.

Leon turned toward the pair of twins. They stood casually, trying to hide their nervousness. They had just tried to attack with an artifact and kill him sneakily. The attack would have been deadly for anyone below S-Class.

Yet, Leon had actually dodged it. Even without Leon fighting, they realized instantly that killing him wouldn’t be easy, even by a long shot.
