I Can Level Up Infinitely

Leon slowly turned toward the twins. He knew they hadn’t attacked him by mistake. The killing intent was unmistakable.

"Those two are from Alpha Company. They seem like they are on dual missions." Snow said as she stopped beside Leon.

Leon started walking toward them.

"That was just a mistake," Javier said hurriedly. But Leon’s expression barely changed.

Ice swords materialized in Maggie’s both hands. Lightning crackled along Javier’s arms.

"We are all here on a mission. Don’t do anything rash based on misunderstandings." Javier spoke again.

But Leon acted like he was deaf.

More people rushed toward Javier and Maggie. After stopping, they all faced Leon.

"Those are all from the same Company." Snow’s voice echoed from Leon’s back.

Leon finally stopped before them. His eyes locked on Javier’s.

"You newbie, get back." One female knight, who was also standing in the group, said.

"Don’t think about starting a fight. Or else we will complain about you. You can forget about getting a license for violating military rules then." Another said.

Two even brandished their weapons.

A total of fifteen people were standing before Leon. All from the Alpha company.

"When you plan to kill someone..." Leon started casually. There was no rage in his voice. His movements were unhurried, as if he were in a park for relaxation. Yet the tension in the air kept only rising. "You should be prepared for the opposite to happen. Mistake? You attacked me by mistake? You used an artifact by mistake?

"Cut the crap." One of them roared. "Back down, or don’t blame us for dealing with you before the monsters.

"I don’t want to kill too many people unless I have to," Leon said. "So other than these two, the rest of you can scram. If you don’t wanna die unnecessarily, that is."

"You are asking for it." One of them lost his patience and shot forward. His fist clenched as fire engulfed it.

Javier and Maggie finally breathed a sigh of relief. They didn’t believe that with so many opponents, Leon would stand any chance.

But the very next moment, their imagination shattered. The ground beneath them collapsed.

Before the man could even reach Leon, everyone heard a whooshing sound. And the next moment, the one who was bolting forward with his fist clenched stopped abruptly.

Splatter!

Blood sprayed from his forehead as a gaping hole appeared there.

Everyone froze. It seemed as though the world had stopped.

The man then slowly fell forward and collapsed on the ground.

Thud!

Dust and debris erupted outward.

Silence... A deadly silence engulfed them all. Members from other companies who were waiting to watch a drama also froze.

The one who just died wasn’t weak. He was a C-Class knight from Alpha Company. But did C-Class mean anything before Leon?

Leon shook his head with a sigh. "People never listen until it’s too late to regret."

The remaining people from Alpha Company stood there for a few moments before finally snapping out of their daze.

"Everyone, he just killed a member of our company. No way we can let it slide. Attack him at once." Someone shouted as all of them charged toward Leon.

"Should I deal with them?" Snow asked from the side.

Leon casually raised his hand, signaling that it was okay and he didn’t need any help.

Fourteen knights were closing the distance toward Leon. The killing intent grew thicker by the second.

But Leon just stood there. He looked like he was here only to observe.

Two people arrived before everyone else.

Whoooooosh!

One slashed with a double-headed axe.

The other one thrust his palm, lightning crackling along the surface.

Leon weaved between both attacks. And then...

Thud!

Thud!

One punch landed on the axe wielder’s chin, the flesh instantly turning frosty.

Blood gushed out as two teeth were tossed in the air. His feet left the ground, and he was sent flying.

The other fist landed on the lightning magic user’s chest.

Crack!

Bone-shattering echoes rang out as the lightning mage’s body was sent flying.

The others standing in the distance could only watch, their jaws almost hitting the ground.

"Who is this devil?" One girl whispered. Because with just two punches, two knights were down. And by the looks of it, anyone could tell. That both of them were dead.

Everyone from the Alpha company felt a chill down their spines. But they had already bitten the bullet, and now they could only push forward. They had to kill Leon, or else all of them would die for sure.

Three more knights appeared before Leon.

One slashed with a sword. One thrust a spear. The other one swung his arm, which had turned into a beast’s hand.

Leon dodged and spun on his heels. Everyone only saw that something flashed under the bright daylight.

The next moment, the sword wielder’s sword had shortened, and a broken piece of silver blade was embedded in the spear wielder’s chest.

The one with the beast-like hands looked down and stared at his own chest. Leon’s fist had pierced through his flesh, breaking who knows how many bones.

Leon yanked his hand free. The next moment, the beast man fell backward with a thud.

Even a minute hadn’t passed. Yet out of fifteen, six were already dead. The remaining nine didn’t dare move forward. They were rooted to their spots now.

’Fuck!’ Javier cursed in his heart. ’Who the hell is this monster? Is he really just a recruit? How can he be this strong?’ His mind raced without any answers.

Maggie was already trembling. ’Why, why, why? Why did you do this, Major? Why did you set a trap like this for us?’ She roared in her mind. She thought her company commander had deliberately done this to kill them.

Because Leon’s strength... It didn’t make any sense. The people he just killed, two among them were B-Class.

Before they could think further, Leon appeared before another and delivered a brutal punch, the opponent’s whole body bursting into chunks of flesh and blood.

Leon slowly turned his head toward the twins again.

Both of them shrieked in fear.
