I Can Level Up Infinitely

Chapter 274: Golden Mountain

Logan continued to slaughter his opponents mercilessly. Whether it was an orc, a dragon, or even a human, none could live past the first attack. The number of enemies was decreasing at an alarming rate. Alarming for Merrick.

The golden ape rushed toward the crimson streak, wanting to reclaim its dignity by defeating Logan.

The gauntlets hummed softly, a razor-sharp aura radiating from them. The golden ape’s speed wasn’t lacking either. It caught up to Logan and threw a punch. Logan stopped and sidestepped, dodging the attack with ease. Kamalon’s fist hit empty air, but a pressure erupted from it. The pressure was so devastating that it left a long fissure on the ground.

Logan jumped and spun in the air, his leg slamming into Kamalon’s head. Kamalon was sent flying again. But he flipped in the air and landed on the ground. He gritted his teeth and focused. His fur glistened, frame expanding. He started to grow big. His tail whipped in the air.

Logan didn’t spare him a glance. By now, only two hundred orcs and fewer than sixty dragons remained.

Matt approached Merrick, who was shaking in fear in the distance. He was using an artifact to keep himself invisible. But Matt was familiar with it and had no problem tracking him. By now, nobody had the slightest doubt that they had messed with someone they shouldn’t have. But the regret could only be washed over by death.

"Your Highness, we have to leave this place immediately. Or we both will die." Matt said hurriedly.

"You think he’s going to let us leave? The moment I move, this artifact’s effect will fall. He will kill me before even a second passes."

"Use the transportation crystal, Your Highness. The one your uncle gave you. Also, we need to contact your uncle and inform him about the Demon Sword. People in the Ninth Heaven have been looking for the sword for centuries. He might be strong, but if people from the Ninth Heaven come here, they can deal with him easily. We can also fetch a good amount of resources for providing information about the Demon Sword."

Merrick’s eyes lit up at that. That fear that was squeezing his heart started to loosen. "You are right. I almost forgot about the crystal." He stared at the crimson streak, weaving and killing beasts like they were nothing, with hatred. "I don’t know who you are," Merrick whispered. "But you will pay for what you have done today."

With that, he brought out a crystal and clutched it tight. The crystal cracked as dark smoke started emitting from it.

Logan felt it instantly. His trajectory changed and shot toward Merrick. Till now, Merrick had been using the artifact to hide both his figure and presence. That’s the only reason he was still alive.

Logan appeared before the dark smoke and swung the Demon Sword.

Schlkkk!

Blade met flesh as a head rolled out from thin air. It was Matt’s. Then the dark smoke vanished, and Merrick was gone as well. Logan was a bit late. His brows furrowed. "Looks like I need to pay my visit to the Navana Empire next."

During this tiny break, all the monsters had turned around and were trying to escape haphazardly. Transportation crystals were very rare and costly, not something everyone would carry everywhere.

Only two figures remained. One of them was Verham, watching Logan’s every move. The more he saw, the more he was shocked.

The other one was Kamalon, the golden ape. It was still focusing, not done with its transformation. But its height had already reached one thousand feet. It looked almost like a golden mountain instead of an ape.

Meanwhile, Logan had no intention of letting the monsters flee. He raised the Demon Sword once more. Hundreds of swords materialized in the distance. Logan swung the sword down. Instantly, those swords in the sky rained down.

Boooom!

Booom!

Boooom!

Orcs, dragons, humans... None were shown mercy. One after another, every monster and human fell.

A deathly silence fell.

Mercer, Lilith, Spade, and the five knights from Flame Empire stared ahead, trying hard to process what they just witnessed.

A single human. Slaughtered hundreds of monsters. And not a single one of them was weak. All were either in the Celestial Soul realm or above. In the seventh heaven, the seventh stage of the Immortal Soul realm was the peak realm.

Mercer, Kamalon, and Verham were definitely stronger than that, but they had to suppress their realm to stay in this heaven. But even for them, slaughtering that many enemies on their own would be difficult. No. Not difficult. The correct word should be impossible.

Yet, here Logan was. He made impossible possible so effortlessly that everything seemed like a hallucination instead of a reality.

Meanwhile, Kamalon was finally done transforming. Logan turned toward him. Logan now had to raise his head high to see Kamalon’s black face surrounded by golden fur.

Kamalon raised his right foot and stomped on the ground without warning.

Booooooooooom!

A loud explosion erupted. The ground shattered and erupted outward in a wave. Mercer caught Lilith and Spade and rushed in the opposite direction. The five knights followed.

Logan didn’t move. He didn’t try to cover his head either.

The dust settled slowly, and seeing that Logan was still unaffected, black veins bulged in Kamalon’s forehead.

He slammed his fist against each other.

Clanggggggggg!

A loud metallic sound echoed. With him, the gauntlets had also grown in size.

Kamalon pointed his fist toward Logan.

"Let’s see if you can defend against this." The moment he finished, a large energy ball materialized before his fist and stormed toward Logan.

The energy ball was so huge that Logan couldn’t even see the golden ape behind it. And the power behind it... That was on a whole different level.

Wherever the energy ball passed by, it tore the space apart.

Logan still looked unaffected. He pointed the sword tip toward the energy ball.

And the moment the sword tip met the energy ball...

Whoooooosh!

The energy ball vanished.
