I Can Level Up Infinitely

For a heartbeat, nobody spoke, nobody moved. They only stared at the scene ahead. The King knelt on the ground, his expression twisting with pain and something else. His jaw was clenched, eyes bloodshot. Even under the unbearable pressure, he was glaring at Logan.

Logan also looked directly at him. No fear. No remorse.

Then everyone reacted.

The person who looked to be the leader of the group lunged forward. "How dare you lay your hands on the King?" Energy spread across his blade as he swung it.

Yami didn’t even flinch. Without even looking at the charging person, he made a grabbing motion. Instantly, the leader stopped. Or more precisely, he was forced to stop. His veins bulged as he tried to push forward. But he couldn’t move even an inch. Then...

Yami’s palm snapped open. Instantly, the leader was sent flying, his body cutting through the air. He slammed into the wall and bounced back before collapsing to the ground.

The two people beside Veneric also moved. These two were on a whole different level.

One of them pressed his palms together and spread his fingers like a blooming flower. "Mountain splitter." He roared. Instantly, an energy beam erupted from his clasped palms as if emerging from the maw of a beast and shot toward Yami. Yami didn’t move. Before the attack could even reach him, it changed its direction and shot upward.

"What?" The person was totally bewildered.

Boooooooooooooooooom!

The beam of energy detonated in the sky, rocking the whole ground.

The other one had thrust his right hand toward Yami. Multiple illusory swords materialized before shooting toward Yami. Yami didn’t react to this attack either. All swords suddenly stopped mid-air, hovering in the air as if a force was stopping them from advancing.

The next moment, they disintegrated into nothing.

"H-how?" Veneric stammered, beads of sweat rolling down his face. He could barely believe it. They were transcendent in the God Accession realm, a realm only inferior to the God realm. No one, absolutely no one, should be able to even meet their gaze, let alone stand against them in the seventh Heaven. Yet here they were, suppressed by a single person.

"I don’t know who you two are..." Veneric said through gritted teeth. Due to the mountain-like pressure, even breathing had become hard for him, much less talking. But still, he did. "But you two are messing with the wrong people. You might possess the Demon Sword. But without its true master, you won’t be able to unleash its true power. And we..."

Before he could finish, Yami waved his fingers a little. The pressure pinning down Veneric doubled.

Crack!

The ground beneath him exploded.

"You talk too much," Yami said casually.

Veneric pressed his body and forced his head up. His face became red due to the pressure. But he still gritted his teeth and uttered each word with difficulty. "If others from the Ninth Heaven come down to the Seventh Heaven, you and everyone close to you will die. Think before you start walking a path you can never return from."

"Let the king go." Meanwhile, another knight roared. The others also tightened their grip around their weapons. Logan and his comrade were powerful, yes. But letting their King kneel meant letting someone walk over their dignity. And even if not all, most of them weren’t happy about it.

"Can you please let my father go? He isn’t in his right mind." Princess Lilith pleaded before Logan.

Logan waved his hand toward Yami instantly.

Yami let the King go. The pressure suppressing him vanished entirely.

A few of the knights immediately rushed forward and helped the King.

The King stood up, and before anyone could react, he thrust his arm forward. Instantly, something whistled through the air. It wasn’t invisible, but it was so small that it was barely visible.

Logan saw it clearly, though, but he still didn’t move and waited for the object to reach him. But just before the fast-approaching object could close in, before Logan could even react, Lilith stood before him, spreading her arms.

Schlk!

Something pierced through her chest, the surrounding area instantly turning blue. It didn’t stop as the blue colour spread across her chest, her lips immediately becoming pale.

"No." The King staggered back. "Lilith, why? Who would you do this for a demon? Can’t you understand what situation we are in?" He spoke in a shaky voice.

Jeremiah grinned even in that condition.

Lilith’s knees buckled, and she started falling. Logan immediately caught her and placed her on the ground carefully. Something snapped inside him. A memory. In that memory, he was being ridiculed by others. Suddenly, one of them threw a sword, but before the sword could tear his flesh, a human shield appeared before him. Ariana. The blade pierced straight through her chest, blood soaking her clothes.

Logan snapped out of that short memory. Leon also saw it inside Logan’s mind. Dark lines appeared on his forehead. His muscles tensed. A suffocating aura erupted from his body. He placed his palm on Lilith’s wound. Instantly, the blue colour stopped spreading. Rather, it started to fade. At the same time, something poisonous flowed out of Lilith’s body and into Logan’s arm, darkening his veins as it spread upward.

Lilith’s condition slowly became normal again. But Logan’s condition didn’t. The eerie aura only grew more suffocating. "You two, help her," Logan said.

Instantly, two more figures materialized out of nowhere. These two were obviously Lamia and Renata.

Everyone took two more steps back. They could feel it. These two were no less strong than the man with silver hair.

Handing Lilith over to the two girls, Logan stood up. His eyes locked on the King.

"This is your last chance. Is someone forcing you? Or do you really intend to go against me?" Logan asked in a cold voice. He was somehow suppressing his rage at the moment.

"You treacherous demon. This is all your fault."

Logan stared at him for a moment before raising both hands. Instantly, both Merrick and Jeremiah were pulled by an invisible force as their throats slammed into Logan’s palms.
