It might have started with the two women standing on opposite sides of the matter, but over the past year, Arian had gradually stopped viewing Ethan as an ordinary young man.
At first, she had only seen him as a talented summoner burdened with responsibilities far beyond his age. Someone with potential, certainly, but still someone who needed guidance. Yet as the months passed, that impression quietly changed.
She watched him survive the fall of the Wilderness Fortress.
She watched him gather scattered survivors who had already given up hope.
She watched him rebuild the ruined Algar Clan from nothing more than broken walls and abandoned land.
Most impressive of all, she watched him continue moving forward no matter what obstacle appeared before him.
Every time the world seemed determined to bury him, he somehow emerged even stronger than before.
Gradually, Arian realized she wasn’t the only one paying attention.
The King no longer spoke to Ethan as though he were merely a promising junior.
Mister Mysteries treated him almost like an equal despite their enormous difference in age and experience.
Even the Angels beneath the World Tree had begun discussing his future personally.
The strongest people she knew had already stopped treating Ethan as ordinary.
How could she continue doing so herself?
That realization eventually led her somewhere she never imagined she would willingly go.
She approached Liana Dracontis.
The conversation between them had lasted for hours.
Although they belonged to different factions and had disagreed on more than one occasion throughout their lives, there was one thing they surprisingly reached the same conclusion about.
Ethan.
More specifically...
His future.
After observing everything he had accomplished, both women believed the same thing.
It would be best if Ethan married Hela and Ella.
Not simply because of politics.
Not because it would strengthen either family.
But because the three of them had already formed a bond long before anyone suggested marriage.
The twins had followed Ethan through dangers most adults couldn’t survive.
They trusted him with their lives.
Likewise, Ethan had repeatedly risked his own life to protect them.
Whether any of them admitted it openly or not, they had long since become inseparable.
The only problem...
Was Ethan himself.
He wasn’t the type of person who could be cornered through simple persuasion.
If they suggested marriage outright, he would undoubtedly begin questioning everything.
Were the twins truly willing?
Was he taking advantage of them?
Would they regret it later?
Knowing Ethan, there was every chance he would refuse simply because he thought someone else deserved better.
Neither woman intended to leave something so important to chance.
So together...
They devised another plan.
Instead of convincing Ethan directly...
They would manipulate the circumstances surrounding him until only one reasonable solution remained.
It wasn’t a single grand conspiracy.
Rather, dozens of tiny pushes.
A word whispered to certain members of the Magistrate Council.
A gentle nudge given to influential nobles.
Several old favors quietly collected.
Political pressure applied exactly where it needed to be.
Individually...
None of those actions appeared significant.
Together...
They became impossible to ignore.
The Magistrate Council continued pressing its accusations.
Certain noble houses quietly added their own influence behind the scenes.
Even the issue surrounding House Dracontis gradually grew larger than necessary.
Every road Ethan attempted to walk eventually circled back toward the same conclusion.
Marriage.
Only by marrying Hela and Ella could the accusations truly disappear.
The supposed kidnapping became a family matter.
The dispute involving House Dracontis ended before it could escalate further.
Even the Church of the World Tree gained sufficient reason to step in.
Without realizing it...
The Magistrate Council had become one of their tools.
Several noble families had unknowingly played along as well.
Even the King himself had been nudged toward the outcome they desired.
From beginning to end...
The two women had quietly guided everyone toward this very day.
"If he survives this trial," Liana whispered, her eyes remaining fixed on the ceremony taking place ahead of them, "our path to the Bastion will be completely open. By then, none of today’s politics will matter."
A faint smile appeared beneath her hood.
"For now..."
"Simply enjoy the ceremony."
"And wish your daughters a happy married life."
Before Arian could answer...
The old woman’s presence disappeared.
Her voice faded into silence almost as quickly as it had appeared.
The priest turned back toward the crowd as though nothing unusual had happened.
Arian remained seated.
Her expression became unusually complicated.
Liana had only stayed for a few moments.
Yet somehow she had managed to completely rattle her once again.
If Hela or Ella ever discovered the extent of the scheme...
Neither of them would forgive their mothers anytime soon.
"Ugh..."
Arian gently pressed her temples.
The final stage of the ceremony soon came to an end, and after receiving countless congratulations from the gathered guests, Ethan, Hela and Ella quietly withdrew from the reception.
Under the guidance of several attendants, the three were escorted toward a private residence connected to the newly completed clan estate.
The noise from the celebration gradually faded behind them.
For the first time that day...
Things became quiet.
’This isn’t my first time doing this...’
As he walked through the corridor, Ethan couldn’t help thinking to himself.
’So why do I feel nervous?’
The feeling genuinely confused him.
He had faced enemies several tiers stronger than himself without his hands trembling.
He had stood before Angels and spoken without losing his composure.
Yet now...
His heartbeat refused to settle.
Once they entered the private residence, Ethan cleared his throat.
"I’ll... be back in a moment."
Using the bathroom as an excuse, he quietly stepped away from the others.
Closing the door behind him, he leaned against it and slowly let out a long breath.
He had taken Ella’s virginity before.
Although nothing similar had happened with Hela, the three of them had already shared countless moments together throughout their journey.
Never once...
Had he felt like this.
But today...
Today was different.
Today, everything had changed.
"Pull yourself together," Ethan muttered under his breath.
Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a small medicine tablet.
It had been given to him earlier by the ever-suspicious Mister Mysteries.
The old man’s grin immediately surfaced in his memory.
"One pop and you’ll have the time of your life."
Ethan had rolled his eyes when he first received it.
Even now, he wasn’t convinced he needed anything like that.
Still...
Standing alone in the quiet washroom, he couldn’t help looking down at the tiny tablet resting in his palm.
Just as he was about to put it away...
The door suddenly opened.
And In a panic, Ethen swallowed the pill whole, a second later a slender hand moved from his chest down towards his lower side causing a bolt of thrill to push towards his center.
"Hmmm, it’s how I remember it" Ella voice resounded in his ear soft and she grabbed his rod.
Before Ethen could react she turned him around and slowly dropped to her knees wrapping her mouth around it.
At the same time, Hela also jogged into the room elegantly and took a knee right beside her sister.
"You want a taste?"
The always holy looking Ella looked to her sister and asked a trace of wetness in her mouth.
This obviously was Helas first time so she was a bit confused on what to do, so Ella had to midge her.
The moment Ethen felt her warm lips around him, his legs tensed up watching as it went up and down repeatedly.
"Good boy" feeling the thickness and vains, Ella stood up and kissed Ethen falling deep into the night in lust and bliss.
