"Does the Four-Legged Chicken have any special traits?" Ethan asked.
"Special traits... not really, it’s just highly alert and can fly, only experienced hunters can catch it, meow! Oh, right — it lays an egg every day, meow~" Pearl explained.
"I found its nest and picked up quite a few eggs, let’s eat them together." Zharok opened a simple basket filled with eggs.
Ethan looked at the eggs and couldn’t help but laugh. "You just want me to cook for you, don’t you?"
Zharok scratched his head in embarrassment.
"Perfect timing, today, I’ll use the Moonlight Tomatoes and eggs to make you guys a dish of Scrambled Eggs with Moonlight Tomatoes." Ethan smiled.
"Oh, that sounds delicious," Zharok said expectantly.
Ethan picked a full basket of Moonlight Tomatoes, then returned to the shelter with Zharok and Pearl.
"Ooh..."
He poured oil into a heated iron pan, scrambled the eggs until they were soft and tender, then scooped them out, next, he added minced garlic to the pan, sautéing it until the aroma was released, then he tossed in the tomatoes, Elven Broth, and the spices and seasonings he had received from the elves, continuing to sauté.
"Smells so good, meow~" Pearl was practically drooling.
"This is just the beginning." Ethan smiled.
He poured the cooked eggs back into the pan, added Sweet Beet juice along with the freshly picked Moonlight Tomatoes, and after a few final tosses, plated the dish.
At that moment, the information panel popped up.

"Ohhh! So delicious!!"
The savory aroma of the eggs and the sweet, tangy notes of the tomatoes blended together perfectly.
Zharok and Pearl didn’t even bother wiping their mouths — they practically buried their faces in their plates and took massive bites, seeing them eat with such relish, Ethan also felt incredibly satisfied.
Just as he was about to take a bite himself, Zharok raised his head and roared.
"Who dares to release a demonic aura here?!"
Pearl’s fur stood on end, Ethan grabbed his scythe, right at that moment, an old voice drifted out from the darkness.
"Do not be afraid, children."
A pale-faced old man stepped out of the shadows.
Seeing him, Zharok bared his razor-sharp claws and roared, "A Vampire?!"
Following the Lich from before, yet another high-level undead had appeared before Ethan, Zharok went on high alert, even the Scythe of Gaia, gripped tightly in Ethan’s hand, began to emit a faint golden glow.
Perhaps sensing their hostility, the vampire merely smiled, raising both hands to show he meant no harm.
"Children, I have no intention of making enemies of you."
"Then why did you leave the cursed lands and come here?" Zharok asked, still vigilant.
"I have come to thank this young man."
The response left Zharok, Ethan, and Pearl completely stunned, a vampire was actually saying thank you?
In the face of their confusion, the vampire bowed elegantly and introduced himself.
"I am Walter von Regias, a noble of the Blood Clan."
"Blood Clan?" Ethan asked.
"Meow, the Blood Clan refers to those who are born as vampires, meow, they are different from those who turn into vampires after being bitten, meow!" Pearl explained.
"What’s the difference?"
"Ordinary vampires must drink blood to survive, but the Blood Clan is different, meow, they can survive even without drinking blood, meow!"
Put that way, did that mean they didn’t have to worry about him attacking them?
But Zharok still didn’t lower his guard, flashing his sharp claws, he roared at Walter.
"I know that, but some of the Blood Clan also drink the blood of other creatures to expand their power."
"Oh? It seems you know my Blood Clan quite well," Walter said with interest.
"I’ve eliminated quite a few of your kind with my own hands!"
Zharok’s brimming confidence shocked Pearl. "The Blood Clan are not easy to deal with, you can actually eliminate them, meow?!"
"Hmph, I am an excellent hunter too!" Although Zharok said this, he still didn’t drop his guard.
Ethan walked up to Zharok and patted his shoulder. "I know you’re vigilant, but there’s no need to be so tense."
"Why?" Zharok asked.
"Because he has no hostility." Ethan lifted the Scythe of Gaia.
"If he truly had hostile intentions, the Scythe of Gaia would have automatically grown larger."
But right now, the scythe remained its original size, meaning Walter had no ill intent, hearing Ethan’s words, Zharok finally retracted his claws.
Walter looked at Ethan with interest and nodded slightly. "Human, I am here to thank you."
"Thank me? For what?"
"The Lich you eliminated was attempting to break the balance of the cursed lands," Walter said.
Hearing him mention the Lich, Ethan grew even more puzzled, there was such a thing as balance in the cursed lands? Zharok and Pearl both shook their heads — they had no idea either.
"In the cursed lands, we respect each other and maintain a non-aggression pact, but that Lich was different, not only did he want to expand his territory, but he also wanted to control the other undead, he was once a powerful mage with immense strength, thanks to you destroying him, we were spared from his threat," Walter explained.
It turned out that the Lich Ethan had eliminated was public enemy number one for all the undead in the cursed lands, no wonder Walter had come to thank him.
"How did you eliminate him?" Zharok asked curiously.
"I don’t know either, meow~" Pearl shook its head.
"I just used Wrath of the Earth to attack him, and then slashed him once with the holy sword," Ethan said casually.
"Just like that? You are much more powerful than I imagined," Walter praised.
Ethan smiled, then said, "I didn’t destroy him to help you, so you don’t need to thank me."
"Even so, you did us a huge favor, to express our gratitude, we have prepared a gift for you."
Walter pulled a delicate box from his coat and tossed it to Ethan.
[Rare — Blood Jade Ring]
[A ring containing the power of blood. Injecting a small amount of blood will summon a Blood Jade Beast.]
"This ring contains the power of my Blood Clan, it can summon a Blood Jade Beast to protect you," Walter explained.
Ethan took the ring and examined it closely, it was completely blood-red and looked rather ordinary, he slipped it onto his finger and felt a sharp prick at his fingertip.
Awooooo!!
A massive, blood-red wolf emerged from Ethan’s shadow, fully the size of a bull, the giant wolf walked up to Ethan and lowered its head.
"Is this the Blood Jade Beast?"
