"Since you are so eager to die and kill, I will send you on your way as well." Using Seven Star Steps, Raiden disappeared and appeared in front of the guy who just killed his companion before he grabbed his face before he could react.

SNAP!

The guy fell on his knees before falling down backwards with extremely wide eyes, dying in the same way he killed his own companion.

"Who is next? Someone tell me what exactly is going on, or I will start picking you guys randomly, one by one, until there is nobody left. Ten... Nine... Eight... Seven... Six... Five... Four... Three... Two... One..."

Bang!!

Before Raiden could take any further actions, a sword of light appeared directly in front of his face, as it blocked an extremely sharp spear-like object that almost impaled him.

"Sha Shaa~" Rai Rai, are you okay?? Neva’s worried voice rang out in his ears as he turned his face towards where the attack came from.

Over there, the rest of the crowd had already noticed what happened here, and out of 30-odd people, almost 27 of them started to approach Raiden as their Terra Beasts unleashed one attack after another.

"Woolie!!" How dare you attack someone who is under this Emperor’s protection?!

( 。 •̀ ᴖ •́ 。)💢

Bang!!

A five-metre pillar of thunder started raging across the battlefield as it pierced through the heavens.

This violet-coloured thunder forced all the attackers back single-handedly, as ominous flashes of crimson started to flash across it.

Woolie!!

Woolie’s sonorous voice echoed throughout the room as everyone found themselves under strong pressure.

Boom!!

This pressure kept building on and on, until one of the opponents wasn’t able to register any more and fell on his knees.

This triggered a chain reaction as one after another enemy started falling down on their knees.

Theodore, who had been fighting on the front lines, also felt the same pressure pressed down on his soul.

Pressure seemed even stronger than ever before, causing him to break out in a cold sweat as he tried to resist it with all his might. It took all the combined willpower of him and his Terra Beast to do it.

He subconsciously glanced at Woolie, who was raging and putting pressure on everyone, feeling a chill go down in his heart.

Even though he praised Raiden and said that they needed to call him with a monster like that here, the truth was he was an extremely proud creature in his heart.

When we got to find out that the seemingly invincible guy from the tournament didn’t join Archon Academy, he felt he had made an extremely poor decision, and before long, they would soon surprise him by the mile.

And once he finally got admitted into the academy, he felt his foresight was more correct than ever before. Using all the resources and training provided by them, he was able to advance at a rocket pace, growing stronger and stronger every day.

But after feeling this pressure pressed down upon his heart, he knew he was still not a match for him.

If anything, this monster had grown even more outrageous than before, so much so that he couldn’t even muster up any ounce of fighting spirit against him.

"Just what even are you, Raiden... fucking abnormal monster..."

Theodore muttered under his breath, wiping the cold sweat trickling down his temple, his grip on Garuda’s talon tightening until his knuckles turned white.

Meanwhile, Woolie paid no attention to the growing panic spreading across the battlefield. His violet eyes gleamed with pure rage as he scanned the remaining enemies still standing, his tail wagging slightly despite the sheer devastation surrounding him.

"Woolie Woo!!" You all will pay the price for hurting him!!

He stomped one hoof against the ground, sending a small crack rippling outward, and that alone was enough to send three more people stumbling backwards in terror.

One of the braver souls in the crowd, a young man with a spear and a Silver-Tier Terra Beast coiled protectively behind him, gritted his teeth and stepped forward despite his trembling knees.

"I refuse to fall here just because of some overgrown sheep!! Go Roolie!!" He shouted, more to convince himself than anyone else, before his Terra Beast charged forward with a spear-like weapon appearing in its hand, completely made out of stone.

Woolie tilted his head, almost looking amused by the sudden display of courage.

"Woolie!!" Bold, but foolish!!

He didn’t even bother dodging. The moment the spear got close enough, Woolie simply lowered his horns and headbutted the incoming weapon dead centre.

CRACK!!

The spear shattered into a dozen pieces, the shockwave from the impact sending the Terra Beast flying backwards like a ragdoll, crashing straight into his own master before both of them tumbled into an unconscious heap.

"Anyone else?? This Emperor is getting bored." Woolie called out, stretching his front legs lazily as violet sparks danced around his horns.

Nobody moved.

The remaining enemies stood frozen in place, their earlier bloodlust completely evaporated, replaced instead by the primal instinct to simply survive whatever monster stood before them.

Raiden, who had been quietly observing the one-sided massacre unfold, finally let out a sigh of relief after Woolie calmed down somewhat.

Ever since this evolution, Woolie had grown increasingly violent, making the guidance related himself.

Aria stood frozen beside Theodore, her eyes wide as she stared at the battlefield littered with unconscious bodies and broken weapons, the sheer one-sidedness of the fight leaving her utterly speechless.

"Is he... is he always like this??" She asked weakly, glancing toward Raiden for confirmation.

"Unfortunately, yes," Theodore replied grimly, still trying to steady his own breathing after enduring Woolie’s suffocating pressure.

Rose, coiled comfortably around Raiden’s neck, let out a satisfied little hiss, clearly disappointed that she hadn’t gotten a chance to join in on the fun.

"Hiss~" Aww, Woolie finished them all already... Rai Rai, next time let me play too??

"We’ll see, Rose. We’ll see." Raiden replied absentmindedly, already scanning the remaining crowd for any sign of further resistance.

But there was none. The thirty-odd elite clan members who had confidently surrounded them minutes earlier now lay scattered across the clearing, some unconscious, some groaning in pain, and a rare few too terrified to even attempt standing back up.

"This is completely absurd." One of the three men from earlier muttered under his breath, staring at the destruction with disbelief plastered across his face.

"We trained for four years for this trial, and it doesn’t even matter against something like that. Is that even human??" Another added, his voice barely above a whisper.

Raiden turned toward the last few people still standing, his earlier leisurely tone returning in full force.

"So, does anyone still want to fight, or should we just skip straight to the part where you tell me what’s really going on?"

Silence answered him, save for the distant rustling of wind through the trees and the occasional pained groan from the battlefield behind them.
