I'm Turning Into Gacha Characters?!

Chapter 587 - 587: Turned Into Gacha?! - 587

Once they had left the seventeenth floor behind, the adventurers felt their taut nerves finally begin to fray and relax.

The eighteenth floor, known as the Dungeon's Pleasure Resort, was a safe haven—a subterranean world teeming with crystals and natural beauty.

It was roughly half the size of Orario, and its ceiling was encrusted with crystals that mimicked the passage of time, creating a cycle of day and night.

With no danger to worry about, the adventurers naturally didn't miss the chance to explore, practically turning the entire floor upside down.

To the north lay a wetland; to the southeast, a dense forest; and to the west, a lakeside dotted with islands, one of which housed a town known as Rivira.

Since they were practically kin now, the Loki Familia wasn't about to keep such trivial knowledge to themselves.

Finn, sensing that it was best to keep the younger girls together, simply handed Sushang over to Tiona and Ais. The two led her back into the group, where she ended up walking beside Lefiya, one of the party's elven magic users.

Tione and Tiona were a bit older than the trio, and knowing she didn't have Tiona's knack for instant friendship, Tione didn't bother trying to wedge herself into their conversation.

Bete, being of a similar age to the sisters and possessing the common sense not to crowd a group of girls, stayed well clear.

The four walking together seemed to be having a wonderful time, though it was mostly Tiona and Sushang doing the talking.

Sushang had already grasped that Ais was a bit of an airhead, and while Lefiya was naturally reserved—she didn't mind the company or the conversation—she wasn't exactly the type to engage in idle, rambling chatter.

And so, the responsibility of showing Sushang around fell to Tiona.

"A town built by adventurers, huh..." Sushang was genuinely curious.

"Not all of them are adventurers, though," Tiona said with a shrug.

"Who on earth created a resting spot like this, right in the middle of a dungeon?" Sushang held a fair bit of respect for whoever had pulled it off. "Being able to resupply here must be a lifesaver for people at the end of their rope."

"That's true, but don't go thinking this place is some kind of friendly charity, Sushang." Tiona laughed at the suggestion. "If you saw the prices here, you'd be in for a real shock."

Only then did it dawn on Sushang that something was amiss. "Prices? Come to think of it, if they're selling supplies here, what do you use to trade? Magic stones?"

The exact value of a magic stone was something only the Guild could determine; most people just had to guess based on experience. After all, the Guild held a monopoly on magic stone crafts—if you didn't sell to them, you had nowhere else to turn.

"Not quite. Most transactions here are done through barter, or by signing a contract and leaving your Familia's crest as collateral, then settling the Valis once you return to Orario," Tiona explained with a grin. "In other words, if you're a nobody, you'll probably just get turned away flat."

"If you need to, I can vouch for you, Sushang." Ais stated this with an incredibly calm expression.

"Miss Ais..." Lefiya looked at her in surprise. While she didn't dislike Sushang, they had only just met today—wasn't offering a guarantee a bit... much?

"Oh, that's not really necessary. I don't really need to buy anything," Sushang waved her off.

"Haha, if you really need something, it'd be better to just ask us in the Loki Familia," Tiona chuckled at Ais's eager offer.

She explained to the bewildered Sushang, "The prices here start at about five times what you'd pay outside. It's way cheaper to just have Ais or Bete run back to the surface and come back again."

So that was the luxury of being in a top-tier Familia.

Upon entering the eighteenth floor, the group had made their way toward Rivira, eventually stopping to rest on a grassy patch not far from the settlement.

"Let's rest here for a while. Everyone's put in a lot of effort getting down here," Finn ordered. The Level 5 and 6 adventurers didn't think much of the exertion, but the party wasn't composed entirely of elite combatants; most were Level 2s, along with a handful of Level 1 supporters.

The adventurer grading system was straightforward. Level 1 was the foundation, the rank for "lower-class" adventurers; half of Orario's population sat at this level.

Anything above Level 1 was considered "upper-class." The gap between a Level 1 and an upper-class adventurer was immense—it required raw talent to bridge that divide.

These individuals possessed strength well beyond the norm, having developed special skills alongside their basic parameters, with combat prowess escalating with each level.

Upper-class adventurers were further subdivided into the third tier (Level 2), the second tier (Levels 3–4), and the first tier (Level 5 and above), each granted an official title by their god.

Expeditions weren't a race. Having plenty of experience, they had no need to worry about supplies or food; pushing forward unnecessarily would be an insult to the lives of their familia members.

The party had no objections to a break and expertly set up camp on the grass.

The first-tier adventurers gathered together. Though they had told the others to rest, their own stamina was still boundless.

They weren't the type to just sit around when they could accomplish a full day's worth of training.

After a brief discussion, Finn—ever the workaholic—decided to head down to the next floor to get some exercise. Tiona and Tione, both battle-hungry, felt the same; while the monsters here weren't much of a challenge, it beat doing nothing.

Riveria needed to hone her spell control, and Gareth, feeling someone should remain behind to keep an eye on things, decided to stay put.

Bete, having exhausted his energy on the upper floors, was secretly quite interested in the "teaching" session between Sushang and Ais, but he suppressed his curiosity, grumbling to himself as he went to set up his own tent.

That left only Ais and Sushang... and, of course, Lefiya, who was glued to Ais's shadow.

"Are we starting?" Ais asked.

"Starting?" Lefiya blinked. Starting what? She hadn't been at the front of the expedition line and had no idea what had been going on up there.

"Sure. You look like you can't wait." Sushang had no objections. Ais had been fixated on this the entire journey, and she was happy to satisfy both the girl's curiosity and her burning desire to grow stronger.

"Ehh!? What do you mean 'can't wait'!?"

The corn-colored elf grew frantic, listening to the bizarre exchange.

Could... could it be? Were they planning to do that...?

Recalling how her cherished, golden-haired heroine had been sneaking glances at the brown-haired girl all along the road, and how eager she had been the moment they were away from the others, Lefiya felt like her head was about to explode.

No...! You can't! You only just met, didn't you? How could you do something like that already?!
