A pitch-black abyss buried beneath the Crimson Nimbus Sect where defiant spirits went to rot.

Yet tonight, the freezing subterranean cell had transformed. It was no longer a prison. It was an intimate sanctuary, heated by the blazing fire of absolute devotion.

The chaotic storm of Yin and Yang energies had finally settled.

The stench of rusted iron and old blood was completely overpowered by a heavy, intoxicating fragrance.

In the center of the dark cell, Lin Tian sat against the cold stone wall.

His newly forged physique, courtesy of the [Primordial Yang-Tyrant Body], radiated a faint golden luster. His muscles were dense, humming with the terrifying kinetic force of a Level 5 expert.

Sprawled across his chest was Madam Shen. The untouchable Queen of the Outer Sect.

She had draped her heavy crimson velvet cloak over her shoulders, but it remained unfastened. Her flawless, jade-like skin—once marred by fatal ice—now glowed with a vibrant, rosy flush.

"I don’t want to leave," Madam Shen whispered.

Her voice was a soft, sultry purr vibrating against his chest. She nuzzled his neck, inhaling the dense, masculine scent of his Yang energy like a starving woman.

"You must," Lin Tian replied smoothly.

His calloused hand gently stroked her silver-black hair. His touch was dominant, carrying a possessive weight that made her heart flutter.

"Dawn is approaching, Shen. If the patrols find the Head Manager sleeping in the subterranean prison, our entire grand design will crumble before it’s even built."

Madam Shen let out a soft, reluctant sigh.

She tilted her mature face upward, resting her chin on his chest to look directly into his dark, calculating eyes.

"Master..." she murmured with profound reverence.

"Before tonight, my existence was a freezing void. I sat on my jade platform in the Resource Hall surrounded by wealth. Everyone feared me. Yet, I was just a dying woman trapped in a cage of ice."

Tears of gratitude pooled in her eyes. Her soft palms cupped his sharp face.

"My husband abandoned me. My stepson used my authority to stroke his own arrogant ego. But you..." A single tear slid down her flushed cheek. "You shattered my pride. You broke my icy shell and filled me with your fire. You gave me a reason to live, Lin Tian."

Lin Tian’s eyes softened just a fraction.

His calculative mind usually processed the world as a ruthless chessboard, viewing everyone as mere pawns. Yet, even he couldn’t deny the overwhelming, genuine devotion radiating from the powerful Matriarch in his arms.

He leaned down, capturing her lips in a deep, bruising kiss.

Madam Shen melted instantly. She kissed him with a desperate, all-consuming hunger, pouring all her gratitude and absolute submission into the contact.

When they finally parted, both were breathing heavily.

"You are no longer alone, my Queen," Lin Tian whispered, wiping the tear from her cheek. "But our enemies are still moving. Your foolish stepson thinks he has trapped me here, waiting for the morning tribunal to shatter my bones."

At the mention of Wang, the tender expression on Madam Shen’s face vanished.

It was instantly replaced by a terrifying, murderous chill. The Qi Gathering Level 9 expert was back. Her maternal obligation to the Wang family had been completely incinerated.

She pulled the crimson cloak tightly around her voluptuous figure. Her eyes burned with vindictive fire.

"Wang is a blind, pathetic insect," Madam Shen spat venomously.

"He dared to frame my Sovereign. He thinks he can use my supreme authority as his absolute shield at the Disciplinary Hall."

She grabbed Lin Tian’s hand, pressing it firmly against her heart.

"Master, I swear upon my cultivation base. No one will dare touch a single hair on your head today. I will protect you."

Lin Tian smirked. "The stolen artifact was found on my property, Shen. How do you intend to bypass the sect’s ironclad laws?"

Madam Shen offered a cold, predatory smile that perfectly matched his own. She was no longer just the Head Manager; she was his proxy, executing his will with flawless precision.

"The Elder ordered the Array Masters to review the spiritual logs of the vault," she explained, her voice dripping with cunning.

"But I am the Head Manager. I possess the highest clearance token."

She leaned in closer, her breath hot against his jaw.

"I will ensure the evidence proves the vault was bypassed using my personal token—the very token Wang has access to," she whispered viciously.

"I will stand upon the tribunal platform. I will publicly testify that Wang stole my token and orchestrated this entire pathetic frame-up for a petty grievance."

Lin Tian chuckled, a dark sound echoing in the cell. "You are willing to publicly destroy your own stepson? The Wang family will be humiliated."

"I do not care about the Wang family!" Madam Shen declared fiercely.

"My reputation, my wealth, my status—they exist solely to serve you! I will strip him of his privileges. I will have him suspended and broken in front of thousands!"

She paused, taking a deep breath before looking back at him with adoring eyes.

"And once your charges are dismissed, I will elevate you. I will appoint you as the Special Supervisor of the Resource Hall."

Her fingers trailed down his chest. "Every pill, every spirit stone, every rare artifact i own will be funneled directly into your hands."

Lin Tian looked at the powerful woman kneeling before him.

She was laying the entire Outer Sect at his feet, asking for nothing but his command. The mastermind had successfully claimed the most powerful piece on the board.

"You are perfect, Shen," Lin Tian murmured.

He pulled her into one final, lingering kiss, pouring a dense pulse of Yang energy into her lips. She trembled with pleasure.

"Go now," he commanded softly. "Put on your crimson robes. Become the untouchable Queen once more. And when the sun rises, deliver the final judgment."

Reluctantly, Madam Shen pulled away.

She stood up silently, pulling the deep hood over her head to conceal her flushed face and messy hair.

She paused at the shattered iron door, looking back one last time.

Even sitting in the dirt of a prison, wearing a torn yellow windbreaker, he looked like a supreme emperor ruling over the world.

"I will see you at the tribunal, my Sovereign," she whispered into the dark.

With a graceful movement, she slipped out.

CLANG.

The heavy secondary doors at the top of the stairwell shut. The Ghost House plunged back into absolute silence.

Lin Tian was completely alone in the pitch-black darkness.

The freezing temperature crept back in, but it couldn’t pierce the roaring golden furnace of his Level 5 aura.

He closed his eyes, crossing his legs on the rotting mat. He entered a state of deep, tranquil meditation, consolidating the massive influx of Yin energy.

Above ground, the toxic smog was clearing. The first rays of the morning sun crested over the majestic peaks, signaling a new day.

Soon, the iron doors would open. The guards would march down, expecting to drag a broken scavenger to his execution.

Lin Tian smiled in the dark. A cold, predatory smirk.

Set the stage, Wang, Lin Tian thought, his breathing falling into an ancient rhythm.

Gather your crowds. Call the Elders. Gloat while you still can.

Because when the sun rises, you will realize you haven’t trapped a rat...

You have awakened a dragon.
