Immortal World : MILF Dual Cultivation
Chapter 35: The Tribunal of the Outer SectThousands of Outer Disciples had abandoned their morning cultivation routines, swarming the perimeter of the grand plaza like a dense sea of ants. The air was thick with the buzzing, chaotic noise of excited whispers and hushed gossip. News of the unprecedented theft had spread through the sect like wildfire overnight.
A lowly, Qi Gathering Level 1 scavenger from the toxic slums of the Artifact Graveyard had allegedly bypassed the Formations of the Resource Hall, stealing the premium Mid-Grade ’Wind-Piercer’ Dagger.
"I still can’t believe it," a senior Outer Disciple whispered to his peers, his arms crossed over his chest. "How could a trash scavenger pull off a heist like that? The security arrays in the premium vault would incinerate someone of that level in a fraction of a second."
"Who cares how he did it?" another disciple scoffed, shaking his head. "The point is that Young Master Wang caught him red-handed. Wang has the entire Disciplinary Guard backing his claim. That scavenger is a dead man walking.
Standing high above the murmuring crowd, upon the elevated white jade platform of the Disciplinary Hall, was Young Master Wang.
He was dressed in immaculate, flowing white silk robes that fluttered elegantly in the morning breeze. He looked down at the thousands of congregated disciples, drinking in their awe and fear. In his mind, he had already won.
"You thought you could humiliate me, Lin Tian?"Wang thought, a vicious, manic grin curling the edges of his lips. "You thought jumping to Level 4 gave you the right to challenge the heavens? Let’s see your profound cultivation save you when the entire sect hierarchy demands your execution!"
"Bring out the prisoner!" the Disciplinary Elder bellowed from his massive stone desk at the center of the platform. His voice, amplified by spiritual energy, rolled over the plaza like a clap of thunder, instantly silencing the thousands of gossiping disciples.
SCREEECH... CLANG!
The heavy, rune-engraved iron doors of the subterranean Punishment Cell—the dreaded Ghost House—were violently hauled open by four heavily armored guards. A gust of stale, freezing air blew out from the dark abyss, causing the disciples nearest to the entrance to shiver involuntarily.
From the pitch-black shadows of the prison, Lin Tian emerged.
His wrists, ankles, and neck were bound by incredibly thick, black iron chains engraved with glowing red suppression runes. The chains weighed hundreds of pounds, designed to drag a cultivator down to their knees and shatter their physical endurance. He was escorted by six elite Disciplinary Guards, their spirit-halberds pointed directly at his back.
However, the sight that greeted the thousands of observing disciples was entirely contrary to their expectations.
Lin Tian did not stumble. He did not drag his feet.
his posture was impeccably straight. His footsteps were steady, rhythmic, and completely unburdened by the massive iron chains. In fact, if one looked closely, the heavy iron links seemed to groan and stretch slightly against his wrists, as if his physical body contained a terrifying force that was merely humoring the restraints.
As Lin Tian was marched up the jade steps to the elevated platform, his dark, calm eyes swept over the massive crowd. He didn’t look like a prisoner walking to his execution; his detached, analytical gaze made him look like a king casually inspecting his domain.
Young Master Wang couldn’t stand the lack of fear in Lin Tian’s eyes. He stepped forward, intentionally blocking Li Tian’s path to the center of the platform.
"Look at you, rat," Wang sneered, his voice dripping with venomous malice. He leaned in close, ensuring only Lin Tian could hear his next words. "I told you that you would rot in the dark. Did you enjoy your night in the Ghost House? Don’t worry, the cold is just the beginning. Today, I am going to have your meridians shattered in front of the entire sect. You will crawl back to the Artifact Graveyard on your belly."
Lin Tian stopped. He looked at the handsome, arrogant face of the young master. A strange, almost pitying smile touched Lin Tian’s lips.
"Young Master Wang," Lin Tian whispered smoothly, his voice a calm, resonant hum. "You set the stage perfectly. I really must thank you for giving me the keys to the most secure, isolated room in the sect last night. I truly enjoyed that room last night. It was quite...moist."
Wang frowned, a sudden, inexplicable chill running down his spine. He didn’t understand the scavenger’s words, but the sheer confidence radiating from Lin Tian made Wang’s stomach churn with an ugly sense of dread.
"Silence the prisoner!" the Disciplinary Elder barked, slamming his heavy wooden gavel onto the stone desk. forcing Wang to step back into his designated position.
Lin Tian calmly walked to the center of the platform, standing before the evidence pedestal where the glowing blue ’Wind-Piercer’ Dagger rested.
"Lin Tian of the Artifact Graveyard," the Disciplinary Elder began, his sharp, eagle-like eyes glaring down at the youth. "You stand accused of bypassing the Formations of the Resource Hall and stealing a highly classified Mid-Grade Artifact. The Disciplinary Array Masters have spent the entire night reviewing the spiritual logs of the premium vault."
The Elder paused, his thick eyebrows knitting together in frustration. "The logs show no signs of external forced entry. The arrays were bypassed cleanly, using a high-level authorized clearance token. Because this matter involves the highest level of security within the Resource Hall, and because the stolen property is of immense value..."
The Elder stood up, bowing his head respectfully toward the main thoroughfare of the plaza.
"...I have summoned the Head Manager of the Resource Hall to preside over this tribunal and deliver the final judgment!"
As if on cue, the ambient temperature of the entire plaza plummeted by a dozen degrees.
The bustling, murmuring crowd of thousands of disciples instantly went dead silent. A suffocating, terrifying pressure washed over the area, heavy with the dense, icy spiritual energy of a Qi Gathering Level 9 expert.
"The Queen of the Outer Sect is here," someone whispered in terror.
Madam Shen glided up the jade steps, flanked by a retinue of highly trained female guards.
Her appearance was breathtakingly majestic, yet terrifyingly unapproachable. She wore her luxurious, deep crimson manager’s robes, woven from the finest spirit-silk and embroidered with golden threads depicting soaring phoenixes.
Her face was a mask of absolute, unforgiving ice. Her sharp, beautiful eyes swept over the platform with the supreme indifference of a goddess looking down at mere mortals.
No one could know that beneath those thick, majestic crimson robes, her mature body was still flushed pink from a night of absolute. No one could know that her thighs were still trembling slightly, or that her stomach was still overflowing with the scorching Primordial Essence of the very prisoner standing in chains before her.
Young Master Wang’s face lit up with absolute ecstasy upon seeing his stepmother. He quickly rushed forward, bowing deeply with a sycophantic, triumphant smile.
"Stepmother! You have graced us with your presence!" Wang proclaimed loudly, ensuring everyone in the plaza heard his familial connection. "You are just in time to deliver justice! This filthy rat, Lin Tian, dared to infiltrate your domain and steal your property! you have the absolute authority to order his cultivation crippled immediately!"
Madam Shen did not even look at him. Her icy gaze bypassed her arrogant stepson completely, locking directly onto the calm, chained figure of Lin Tian standing in the center of the platform.
Lin Tian stood perfectly still.
"System," Lin Tian commanded mentally. "Activate Insight Eye. Check Target’s status."
[Target: Madam Shen]
[Status: Frost-Yin Blockage 100% Eradicated. Target’s core has been permanently rewritten and bound to the Host’s Yang signature.]
[Obsession Level: 95%(Extreme Devotion Locked).]
[Psychological Analysis: Target’s societal ego has been weaponized solely for the Host’s benefit. She stands ready to execute the Host’s will.]
Lin Tian’s lips curled into a faint, almost imperceptible predatory smile.
For a fraction of a second, an invisible, electrifying exchange occurred between them. Behind her mask of absolute, terrifying ice, Madam Shen’s eyes softened dramatically. In that fleeting glance, all her towering authority melted away, revealing a look of profound, desperate worship and utter submission. Her eyes silently screamed her devotion to her "Master."
Madam Shen turned her gaze toward the Disciplinary Elder, her expression once again unreadable and strict.
"Elder," Madam Shen spoke, her voice a resonant, commanding boom that echoed across the silent plaza, making the thousands of disciples shiver. "I have reviewed the spiritual logs myself. The array masters are correct. The vault was not breached by force. It was opened using a supreme clearance token. A token that belongs exclusively to the inner circle of the Resource Hall."
Young Master Wang’s triumphant smile widened into a maniacal grin. He pointed a manicured finger at Lin Tian, his voice ringing out with vindictive pleasure.
"You hear that, everyone!?" Wang roared to the crowd. "My stepmother has confirmed it! The evidence is absolute! This thieving rat used some filthy, deceitful trick to steal a token and bypass the arrays! Let him serve as a bloody example to anyone who dares defy the laws of our Crimson Nimbus Sect!"
The thousands of disciples held their breath. The tension in the air was so thick it could be cut with a sword. The Disciplinary Guards tightened their grips on their spirit-halberds, waiting for the Head Manager’s ultimate command to strike the prisoner down.
Madam Shen stood at the very edge of the elevated jade platform, her deep crimson robes billowing in the morning wind. She looked down at her stepson, who was practically vibrating with malicious excitement. Then, she looked at the thousands of disciples watching her every move.
Finally, she raised her delicate, pale hand high into the air.
The entire Outer Sect braced for the execution order. Wang took a step back, his eyes wide with manic anticipation, ready to watch Lin Tian be destroyed forever.
Lin Tian merely stood there, the heavy iron chains rattling softly against his wrists, waiting for his perfectly forged, devoted weapon to finally strike.
