Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 147: Arch Demon Transformation"I can’t believe a universe that hasn’t even gained its individuality could produce a Chaos Physique. That universe must be unique. Perhaps it is the result of the reformation of a Grade Five Universe?" one of the ancient beings speculated, his gaze fixed on Victor.
"Not impossible. After all, countless Grade Five Universes were destroyed during that great battle. Some of their remnants may have survived and eventually formed something new," another ancient being replied thoughtfully.
"Interesting." The golden-scaled creature’s enormous eyes gleamed with interest. "I am going to invite him to join our faction. With such potential, he could become an extraordinary existence if properly nurtured."
"I want to invite him as well," another ancient being immediately said. "His potential is practically unbounded. If we nurture him properly, who knows? We might gain another pillar for our faction."
Victor, who had been regarded as nothing more than an interesting human moments ago, had now become the center of attention among these supreme beings.
Below them, Victor continued his battle against the enormous willow tree.
His Wings of the Cicada flapped gently behind him, and his figure transformed into a blur that the World Realm creature could barely perceive.
Victor gathered his mana into his right hand, causing a long purple blade to materialize in his grasp. He then vanished from his original position and appeared beside the willow tree.
Slash!
A branch several meters long was severed before the willow tree could even react.
Victor disappeared again.
Slash!
Another branch fell.
Then another.
He moved around the enormous tree at incredible speed, cutting it apart from every direction. The willow tree attempted to defend itself, but its attacks could not even touch Victor’s shadow.
The difference between the World Realm and Nebula Realm was simply too great.
Even though Victor was technically still a Domain Master, his speed had already surpassed the limits of what a World Realm opponent could withstand.
"This is ridiculous. The gap created by a single spell is actually this enormous?" one of the ancient beings muttered.
"His speed alone has already made him practically untouchable against a World Realm opponent."
Victor continued attacking without pause.
His purple blade sliced through the willow tree’s enormous trunk.
Boom!
The gigantic tree trembled violently.
Victor appeared above it and drove his blade downward with tremendous force.
The entire trunk split apart.
The enormous plant-type creature released a strange roar before its body finally collapsed into countless fragments of energy.
"Congratulations. You have cleared the sixteenth floor."
The ancient voice echoed throughout the gray void.
"Please choose sixteen treasures."
Victor calmly examined the treasures before him.
This time, he did not waste much time.
After obtaining two powerful spells on the fifteenth floor, he had already understood the value of the Resource Tower. There were countless treasures here that could significantly increase his combat strength.
He selected several powerful resources and techniques before the time limit ended.
The seventeenth floor.
The eighteenth floor.
The nineteenth floor.
Victor continued advancing.
His opponents became increasingly strange and powerful, each possessing abilities that made ordinary combat methods almost useless.
However, Victor had already obtained the Wings of the Cicada.
Whenever his opponent relied on speed, Victor could outrun it.
Whenever his opponent relied on defense, he used his overwhelming physical strength and Chaos power to break through it.
Whenever his opponent possessed a special ability, Victor adapted accordingly.
More importantly, every floor provided him with another opportunity to obtain powerful treasures.
Victor deliberately chose the strongest spells he could find.
By the time he reached the twentieth floor, his arsenal had already become frightening.
"This is getting more interesting," Victor muttered.
The moment he stepped onto the twentieth floor, his expression changed.
The gray void was unusually quiet.
There were no mountains, no rivers, and no structures.
Only an endless expanse of darkness.
Then Victor looked forward.
A gigantic creature was standing in the distance.
It was so enormous that its body seemed to occupy a portion of the entire void.
Its appearance resembled a monstrous beast covered in thick scales, with four massive limbs and a body that seemed to have been carved from ancient stone.
Two enormous red eyes stared directly at Victor.
The creature did not move.
Yet the moment Victor sensed its aura, his expression became serious.
"This thing..."
Something was wrong.
Although the creature was still at the World Realm, the pressure it emitted was completely different from every World Realm opponent Victor had encountered before.
It was as if the entire space around it belonged to the creature.
Above the Resource Tower, the golden-scaled ancient being glanced toward the thunderous ancient being.
"Wanna bet again?"
The thunderous ancient being immediately shook his head.
"No thanks."
His expression was unusually serious.
"This bastard is too unpredictable. And I will never bet on a human winning."
The golden-scaled creature laughed.
"You are still holding a grudge over that incident from countless eons ago?"
The thunderous ancient being’s expression darkened.
"I am not holding a grudge."
"You clearly are."
The golden-scaled creature chuckled.
"That human was an unprecedented anomaly. Even the Ancestors couldn’t see through his destiny. Unfortunately, he has already vanished. He was probably killed by one of the Chaos Gods."
"I said I’m not salty," the thunderous ancient being snorted.
He turned his attention back toward the battlefield.
Below, Victor slowly raised his head.
The enormous creature suddenly moved.
Victor’s eyes narrowed.
He was about to activate the Wings of the Cicada. But the moment his body rose from the ground...
Boom!
An apocalyptic pressure descended upon him. Victor’s entire body was forced downward.
His expression changed dramatically.
"What?"
The invisible force continued increasing.
The space around him twisted violently, and his body felt as if countless mountains had suddenly been placed upon his shoulders.
Blergh!
Victor coughed out blood.
His body trembled under the terrifying gravitational force.
"Dammit!"
Victor gritted his teeth.
"This thing can manipulate gravity to such a degree?"
Under this terrifying gravity, his movement had been completely restricted.
Even if he could activate the Wings of the Cicada, his body might not be able to withstand the force required to move at that speed.
The Cosmic Behemoth finally took a step forward.
Boom!
The entire twentieth floor trembled.
Victor’s eyes became cold.
"Looks like I’ll have to use my trump card."
He took a deep breath.
"Arch Demon Transformation."
The moment those words fell, terrifying energy erupted from Victor’s body.
Boom!
His aura began rising at an astonishing rate. His muscles expanded. His body became taller.
Two enormous crimson-red wings suddenly emerged from his back.
Two sharp horns protruded from his forehead.
Crimson-gold armor formed across his body, covering him from head to toe.
His eyes turned deep crimson.
A terrifying demonic aura spread throughout the battlefield.
Boom!
A pressure belonging to the Black Hole Realm erupted from Victor’s body.
The ancient beings watching the battle instantly fell silent.
The Cosmic Behemoth’s red eyes widened.
Victor slowly raised his head.
The terrifying gravity that had previously forced him to cough blood suddenly seemed much less oppressive.
He smiled.
"Now, let’s see how strong you really are."
Boom!
Victor disappeared.
The Cosmic Behemoth did not even have time to react.
A figure suddenly appeared directly beside its enormous head.
Smack!
Victor’s palm struck the creature’s face.
The enormous body instantly exploded.
Blood and flesh transformed into a terrifying storm that spread throughout the gray void.
Silence.
Absolute silence.
Victor stood in the center of the battlefield, his crimson wings slowly fluttering behind him.
The ancient voice finally echoed through the twentieth floor.
"Congratulations. You have cleared the twentieth floor."
"Do you wish to challenge the twenty-first floor?"
Victor’s eyes brightened.
"Of course."
He had no intention of stopping.
The higher he climbed, the more powerful the treasures became.
The spells he had obtained so far had already increased his combat strength tremendously.
Who knew what treasures awaited him beyond the twentieth floor?
Victor looked toward the empty space ahead.
"Let’s continue."
However, above the Resource Tower, nobody was paying attention to the twenty-first floor.
Every ancient being was staring at Victor.
Their expressions were completely different from before.
The thunderous ancient being’s face was distorted with disbelief.
"How the actual fuck did this bastard activate a Black Hole Realm spell?"
His thunderous voice shook the surrounding space.
The golden-scaled ancient being’s eyes narrowed.
"That’s the question."
Another ancient being spoke in a low voice.
"Arch Demon Transformation is not an ordinary Black Hole Realm spell. It is a spell created specifically for Black Hole Realm mages."
"Exactly," another replied. "A Domain Master shouldn’t even possess enough energy to activate it."
"Not only did he activate it, but he maintained the transformation perfectly."
The ancient beings exchanged glances.
Their previous excitement had now transformed into something far more serious.
The thunderous ancient being clenched his fists.
"The spell itself isn’t the problem. The problem is that his body and energy actually managed to support it."
The golden-scaled creature smiled slowly.
"Which means his foundation is far beyond what we originally estimated."
"His physical body is already extraordinary, his Chaos power is mysterious, and now he possesses an energy system capable of supporting a Black Hole Realm spell."
Another ancient being laughed.
"This isn’t merely a Chaos Physique anymore. This human is practically a walking anomaly."
The golden-scaled creature stared at Victor’s figure.
His eyes contained undisguised interest.
"Victor..."
He quietly repeated the human’s name.
"It seems we underestimated you."
