Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme

Chapter 157: About to enter the universal battlefield

The doors to the grand conference hall swung open, allowing the leaders of Earth and the cosmic representatives to file into the quiet space. Victor moved directly to the head of the long obsidian table and took his seat. Diana sat gracefully to his immediate left, her calm posture mirroring his own unshakeable composure. To Victor’s right, the elven delegation took their seats in a smooth, synchronized motion. Opposite them, on the left side of the table, President Elihan and the top officials of the Cosmic Human Alliance sat down with equal grace.

Behind Victor, President Julius, Elyndros, Merlin, and Lyria remained standing. Despite their status as the leaders of Earth, the overwhelming pressure emanating from the cosmic entities in the room made them hesitate. They felt out of place, fully aware of the massive gap in strength and technological power between their world and the fleets floating in their sky.

The Elven Monarch looked toward the group of Earth leaders and offered a warm, welcoming smile.

"My friends, why are you standing there? Please, come, sit with us," the Elven Monarch said with a gentle smile.

Elihan internally cursed the elf. The Elven Monarch was far too cunning, taking every possible opportunity to win the favor of the humans of Earth right in front of him. Not wanting to be outdone, Elihan immediately adopted a kindly expression of his own.

"Please, sit with us. If the hosts are standing while the guests are sitting, that simply does not feel right," Elihan said quickly.

Julius and the other Earth representatives exchanged surprised looks. They were well aware that this immense respect was not meant for them, but rather for Victor who sat at the head of the table. Even so, feeling such reverence from leaders who commanded entire galaxies was deeply gratifying.

"Please sit, President," Victor said, turning his head slightly to smile at Julius.

With Victor’s explicit permission, Julius and the others finally moved toward the vacant chairs. Their movements were somewhat rigid and careful, every step taken with deliberate caution as they took their seats alongside the galactic sovereigns.

"Now, tell me, what is on your minds?" Victor asked, looking smoothly between the two factions.

Elihan and the Elven Monarch glanced at their respective companions before looking back at the young man who held the fate of the universe in his hands.

"Your Majesty, if you do not mind, may I ask what the combined race will be called?" Elihan asked cautiously, carefully measuring every word.

"Hmm, good question. I have not thought about that yet. Any suggestions?" Victor asked after pondering the matter for a moment.

"Your Majesty, will the two races be brought under a single jurisdiction?" the Elven Monarch inquired, leaning forward slightly.

"Yes. My master will be the president, and Elihan will be the vice president. As for me, I will be the guardian of the race," Victor replied simply, establishing the foundational structure without any room for argument.

Before the leaders could process the new hierarchy, the small creature resting on Victor’s shoulder shifted.

"Master, I think you should not force the merge immediately. It will take time for the people to adjust. Let us just call them the Human Elven race," Astrion suggested loudly.

The moment the small creature spoke, an absolute silence descended upon the room. No one dared to even breathe loudly. The sole reason Victor was revered throughout the cosmos, aside from his own astronomical growth, was the presence of Astrion, an immortal existence whose power defied the comprehension of mortal beings.

"Is that so? Then let us call it the Human Elven race," Victor said with a decisive nod.

The surrounding leaders swallowed hard and nodded in agreement. None of them possessed the courage to offer further counterarguments after Astrion had spoken.

"Alright, President Elihan, please integrate Earth into the cosmic network system now. I will leave the administrative details to you. After that, we will hold a proper banquet," Victor said as he stood up from his chair with a calm smile.

"As you wish, Your Majesty. I will carry out the order right away," Elihan bowed deeply from his seat.

Victor turned his attention toward the elven side of the table and locked eyes with the powerful warrior who had once guided him.

"Senior brother, come with me for a walk," Victor said to Vladimir.

Vladimir stood up immediately, leaving the silent conference room alongside his junior brother. They walked down the grand marble hallway in silence for a short distance before Vladimir spoke up.

"What is on your mind, junior brother?" Vladimir asked, his tone carrying a mix of pride and formal hesitation.

Without speaking a word, Victor casually waved his right hand through the air. A sudden tear opened in space, and an impressive weapon emerged from the rift, floating gently between them.

"This is a gift for you. I acquired it from the Aether Realm," Victor said.

The moment the weapon fully materialized, the surrounding space began to warp and distort under the immense weight of its violent aura. It was a pitch black spear, crafted with absolute precision, radiating an unmistakable air of supreme majesty.

Vladimir gasped, his eyes widening as he stared at the dark metal. He could clearly feel the terrifying power contained within the shaft and tip of the blade. Every cell in his body screamed with the desire to wield it.

"Is this really for me?" Vladimir asked, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

"Of course. It is an exceptionally powerful weapon, capable of being used all the way until you reach the Universal Supreme Realm. The greater your personal strength, the higher its destructive power output will be," Victor explained with a casual shrug.

Vladimir reached out with a trembling hand and gripped the shaft of the spear. The instant his skin made contact with the cold metal, a surge of immense, boundless energy rushed through his body, causing his internal aura to flare dramatically. Although he was currently at the Quasar Realm, he instinctively felt that holding this weapon would allow him to fight a powerful entity from the Galactic Realm without falling into a disadvantage.

"Thank you, junior brother," Vladimir said, a massive grin spreading across his face from ear to ear.

"Do not mention it," Victor smiled faintly.

With the gift successfully delivered, Vladimir returned to the meeting hall to join the high-level discussions regarding the future and governance of the combined race. Victor entrusted the complex diplomatic procedures to Diana, who worked alongside Julius and the other leaders of Earth to formalize the treaties.

Meanwhile, Victor returned to his private residence accompanied by Astrion. Stepping into his deeply isolated cultivation chamber, he looked toward the center of the room. Standing perfectly still in the middle of the array was a figure that looked identical to Victor himself, though it was currently void of any life or consciousness.

"Master, the vessel is almost complete. Now you simply need to infuse it with your own blood essence and soul essence," Astrion stated, hovering near his shoulder.

Victor nodded silently. Over the past four days, he had poured massive effort into refining this specific clone. He had consumed countless rare cosmic treasures to forge the body, retrieving some from the Aether Realm while creating others directly with the assistance of Astrion’s unique abilities. The exact method of creation had been provided by Astrion to ensure the vessel possessed flawless potential.

Victor intended to send this clone into the dangerous Universal Battlefield, allowing his true main body to remain behind in total isolation to focus entirely on producing pure chaos essence.

Taking a deep breath, Victor closed his eyes and focused his consciousness inward. A brief moment later, he groaned softly as two distinct spheres of intense light emerged from his chest. One light glowed with a pure, brilliant white hue, while the other burned with a deep, vibrant red.

The two lights darted forward, sinking directly into the forehead of the clone.

The moment the essences fused with the vessel, the artificial body flared with a blinding radiance. The synthetic, metallic appearance of the vessel rapidly transformed, shifting into real bone, blood, and flesh within seconds.

Slowly, the eyes of the clone snapped open.

The clone raised both of its hands, flexing its fingers to examine its new physical form. The connection was seamless. The clone possessed physical strength equivalent to the main body and could tap directly into the infinite reservoir of mana sustained by the original form.

"Not bad. This clone can cultivate all the way up to the Cosmic Realm, correct?" Victor’s clone asked, testing his voice.

"That is correct, Master," Astrion nodded approvingly.

"Then I will head out first. I want to see what this Universal Battlefield is truly all about," the clone declared, vanishing from the cultivation room in a flash of spatial displacement.

The main body of Victor slowly opened his eyes on the cushions, watching the space where his duplicate had just been standing.

"I will attempt to enter the abyssal dimension using this clone," Victor said with a faint smile.

"This clone is extraordinarily precious, Master. If you were to put a vessel of this quality up for auction in the central markets of the Aether Realm, you would easily receive five hundred units of chaos essence for it," Astrion remarked.

"So cheap?" Victor narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Cheap?" Astrion smiled wryly to himself. He had almost forgotten that Victor possessed the unique ability to produce chaos essence naturally. To someone who could generate it at will, five hundred units sounded like a minor sum.

Far across the galaxy, near the outer perimeter of the massive Elven Empire, spatial ripples distorted the sky. Victor’s clone materialized out of thin air and moved directly toward the secluded domain where his master resided.

Landing softly outside the ancient bamboo dwelling, the clone called out toward the interior.

"Master, please take me to the Universal Battlefield."
