Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme

Chapter 162: Grabbing attention from all factions

The sea of Abyssals in the World Realm region stood frozen, their grotesque, corrupted forms rigid with pure terror. Just moments ago, six of their supreme Nebula Realm powerhouses had descended to obliterate a single human pest. Now, those six commanders were gone. They had not merely been defeated. They had been erased from existence in less than a second, leaving behind no blood, no aura, and no trace of their presence.

A collective, terrified roar erupted from the Abyssal ranks.

The massive legion broke formation. Millions of World Realm beasts turned and fled, their heavy footfalls tearing up the scorched earth as they scrambled toward the safety of distant dimensional rift portals.

Victor watched the chaotic retreat with an unflinching gaze. Allowing them to escape meant leaving Evolution Points on the table, and he had no intention of being wasteful.

He raised his right hand, channeling the Law of Creation to shape the surrounding space. Strands of dense energy materialized in his grip, hardening into the sleek frame of a long-range anti-materiel sniper rifle. For ammunition, he condensed concentrated spheres of Chaos Energy, wrapping each round in a thin layer of his Rule of Disintegration.

He brought the stock to his shoulder and pulled the trigger.

Thump!

The high-energy round cut through the sky, crossing tens of miles instantly. It struck a fleeing World Realm Abyssal squarely in the center of its mass.

The moment the bullet made contact, the Rule of Disintegration expanded outward like a silent shockwave. The colossal creature did not even have time to scream before its flesh, bones, and armor dissolved into fine gray ash, taking three nearby beasts down with it.

While his right hand maintained a steady rhythm with the rifle, picking off the high-value targets trying to escape into the distance, Victor extended his left palm toward the densely packed crowds below.

Balls of chaotic energy formed above his head, pulsing with violent power.

With a wave of his hand, dozens of these dense spheres rained down upon the Abyssals.

Each impact triggered a silent, expanding sphere of absolute void, vaporizing hundreds of World Realm soldiers per second. The outer perimeter turned into a meat grinder, operating with terrifying, mechanical efficiency.

Miles away, hidden atop a shattered cliff, a reconnaissance group representing various universal factions observed the massacre through long-range optical arrays. Every single scout was hyperventilating, their faces pale and their eyes wide with disbelief.

One of the alien scouts swallowed hard, his throat making an audible gulp in the silent command post.

"What kind of monster is he? When did humans become so damn awesome?"

Another scout, a horned humanoid wearing the crest of a major mercenary guild, shook his head violently.

"He killed six Nebula Realm Abyssals in mere moments. Forget the lower ranks, this man is an army by himself. Let us inform our general immediately. He will surely want to recruit this human at any cost."

The group was going crazy.

They had originally been dispatched by core command to investigate the cause of the sudden, massive energy drops along the outer perimeter, expecting to find a massive Thessari strike force or an ancient defense array being activated.

Instead, they found a single human casually wiping out a legion with improvised weapons and floating orbs of destruction.

Victor was fully aware of their presence on the cliff, but he did not care. As long as they stayed out of his firing line, they were irrelevant to his goal.

He continued tossing Chaos Balls into the densest clusters of the Abyssal host, watching his system counter rapidly tick upward.

Down on the cliff, a younger scout leaned forward, his eyes shining with unhidden admiration.

"Damn, I want to call him big brother. With this much power, he will rise to the very top of the Universal Battlefield within a few years."

An older lizardfolk commander scoffed, pulling out a communication talisman.

"Hehehe. I am already contacting my family elder to discuss my little sister’s marriage with this big shot."

A nearby elf spat on the ground.

"Shameless. Utterly shameless."

The lizardfolk grinned, completely unbothered.

"Why didn’t your parents give birth to a few little sisters then? How am I being shameless for taking the initiative?"

While the scouts bickered, a completely different atmosphere hung over the Abyssal Command Matrix deep within the core battlefield.

The massive, bio-organic projection room hummed with a sickly green light. Dozens of high-ranking Abyssal officers hovered over the holographic battle map, their multi-eyed faces dark with growing fury as entire sections of their territorial markers blinked out of existence.

A heavy, clawed hand smashed into the command console, shattering the crystalline interface into glowing shards.

"Dead? All six of them?!" barked Void General Malakor, his voice sounding like two grinding tectonic plates.

His massive body was shrouded in dense, black fire, the unmistakable aura of a late-stage Quasar Realm powerhouse.

"They were sent to check the outer perimeter ten minutes ago. How could six Nebula Realm commanders vanish simultaneously without transmitting a single shred of combat data?"

"General Malakor, the energy readings from that sector spiked for less than a microsecond before completely zeroing out," a nervous, insectoid Abyssal reported, its mandibles twitching uncontrollably as it worked to restore the console.

"It was not an army. The matrix recorded a localized collapse of spatial laws. It resembles a high-tier Nebula Realm powerhouse or perhaps even a Black Hole Realm elder."

Malakor’s eyes burned with emerald hatred.

"So Martin’s Thessari Alliance did sneak a powerhouse into the outer sector."

"Not necessarily, General," the insectoid officer stammered, pulling up a grainy, heavily distorted image captured a fraction of a second before the transmission died.

"The energy signature before the domain opened was exceedingly low. According to the soul-scan feedback, the attacker had the life-force foundation of a human Sovereign."

Silence fell over the command deck.

Malakor stared at the image. It showed a young man standing casually in an open field, completely unbothered by the carnage around him.

"A Sovereign?" Malakor sneered, a sickening, guttural laugh escaping his throat.

"You expect me to believe a Sovereign erased six Nebula Realm commanders in a breath? The Thessari are using high-grade cloaking artifacts to mask a Black Hole Elder’s aura. They think they can play tricks to stabilize their outer flanks while we press the core line."

He turned away from the projection, his long, razor-sharp tail whipping through the air and leaving black burn marks on the organic floor.

"Ignore the outer perimeter for now. If a Thessari Elder wants to waste time playing god against meat-shields, let them. The Void Lord’s array is almost complete. Once the Southern Line falls, those outer sectors will be cut off and consumed regardless. Tell the World Realm vanguard to accelerate the push. I want the Thessari fortress in ruins before sunset."

Malakor’s command was logical based on standard military strategy, but he fundamentally misunderstood the reality of the Universal Leaderboard System.

On the Universal Battlefield, each Quasar Realm powerhouse led their own faction to guard different strategic regions. Every month, the battlefield matrix published both individual rankings and collective faction scores.

The factions that accumulated the highest kill counts and secured the most territory received high-tier cultivation resources directly from the Universal Array. Because of this, faction leaders were always desperate to recruit powerful, unregistered individuals to boost their total scores.

Currently, several elite recruitment squads from top-tier factions were racing across the terrain, burning through precious speed talismans just to reach Victor before anyone else could make him an offer.

Among those heading toward the sector was Amelia, an elder from a renowned force. Having fully recovered from her previous battle injuries, she was preparing to return to the core region when the unbelievable reports reached her squad.

"Looks like it is really him," Amelia thought, leaning against the side of her high-speed flying vessel as her long hair whipped in the wind. "I want to know why a human is so powerful. If his potential is genuine, it will be worth recruiting him into our Ice Phoenix Fifth Faction."

Meanwhile, in a heavily fortified outpost city near the edge of the World Realm region, news of the outer perimeter massacre was causing massive shockwaves.

"Has the human race produced another anomaly? How come? What is going on with the human race lately?" a demon warrior muttered with deep bitterness, staring at the updated local casualty board in disbelief.

Back on the battlefield, Victor was completely unaware of the political storm brewing around him, nor did he care.

He continued his relentless bombardment.

By the time twenty-four hours had passed since his arrival in the World Realm sector, the once-teeming plain was completely silent, littered with nothing but craters and fading black dust.

Deep inside the Abyssal stronghold, Malakor stared at the updated matrix report, his massive frame trembling so violently that the black flames around him flared out of control.

"No, fuck no! Even if it is a fucking Quasar Realm bastard, how can he kill ten million World Realm soldiers within twenty-four hours? I want to kill that bastard!" Malakor shouted, his eyes spitting genuine fire.

He had dismissed the attacker as a minor nuisance playing games in the outer perimeter, never imagining that in a single day, his army would lose over ten million World Realm units.

Such a loss directly crippled their vanguard reserves for the upcoming core push.

In his mind, Victor was a strategic nightmare designed to undermine their invasion.

For Victor, however, the past twenty-four hours had been exceptionally productive.

He looked at the system interface floating before his eyes and nodded in satisfaction.

Total Evolution Points accumulated: 10 Trillion.

Ten trillion Evolution Points in a single day was a massive step forward, putting him significantly closer to his ultimate goal of reaching the Undying Body Realm.

The outer regions were now roughly picked clean, and the density of high-level Abyssals had dropped to a point where staying here was no longer efficient.

"Not bad," Victor murmured, his rifle dissolving into thin air as he withdrew his domain. "Let us enter the core now."
