The moon had suddenly turned into a sun, leaving everyone disheveled and grimy. Under the scorching heat, the rabbit fur on Zhang Wenda’s body was even set on fire.

But Zhang Wenda and the others finally managed to leave the moon. Hu Maomao and the Black Cats had been the real heroes.

She used her levitation ability to lift the others, who were using the black cats as gliders, back into the air. They finally escaped the dazzling ball of fire just as the sun was about to reach them.

"Look! The Earth is flat!!" Song Jianguo, who was flying this high for the first time, pointed at the flat-looking Earth below and exclaimed in surprise.

Ahava looked at her, bewildered. "Isn’t the Earth supposed to be flat? If it were any other shape, wouldn’t the people on the bottom just fall off?"

"Uh... I mean, you have a point... but..." Song Jianguo seemed to want to argue, but for a moment, she couldn’t figure out how. She just felt like something wasn’t right.

Zhang Wenda didn’t care about any of this, nor could he be bothered. ’This whole damn world can go to hell for all I care.’

He reached down to pat out the flames on his rabbit fur, then turned and gave the gradually receding sun the middle finger with his scythe.

Once everyone had landed safely with the help of the Black Cat gliders, they all finally let out a sigh of relief.

"Water! I need water!" Song Jianguo, her face flushed red from the heat, yelled at 2826, who was running over.

After being busy all night and then getting roasted first thing in the morning, the moment he relaxed, Zhang Wenda was hit by a wave of exhaustion, thirst, and sleepiness.

Zhang Wenda didn’t even know how he got to the bed. He and Song Jianguo just collapsed onto it and instantly lost consciousness.

When he woke up again, it was already afternoon. He had been woken by the sound of someone watering vegetables outside his window.

He opened the window and looked out to see a Mayan with a pointed head using a long pole to push against the riverbed, propelling a floating plot of land covered in corn stalks downstream.

"A local specialty, the Kennon Waterfield. We can get five harvests a year."

Ahava’s voice came from his left. Seeing Zhang Wenda look his way, he offered an awkward smile.

Despite all his bad luck, he could still manage to smile.

"It’s pretty nice here. Besides having no oil, all our other crops, with the blessings of the gods, have bumper harvests every time."

As he spoke, he raised a corn tortilla stuffed with meat filling and placed it on a nearby table. "You must be hungry. Have a dog meat taco. I had my two wives make them fresh."

Zhang Wenda reached out and tickled the bottom of Song Jianguo’s foot, waking her up abruptly.

Everyone chewed heartily, including Hu Maomao, who had just arrived. They were all truly starving.

But after two pieces, Zhang Wenda lost his appetite. He kept pawing at the rabbit fur all over his body, trying to find the zipper that was no longer there.

He realized the Moon God really hadn’t been kidding. All the sensations of the rabbit suit were now synced with his own. Touching the rabbit ears felt just like touching his own ears, and he could clearly feel a blade of grass stuck to the bottom of his long rabbit foot.

Also, maybe because the rabbit fur had become real, Song Jianguo’s Black Cat was now incredibly fond of him, constantly jumping on him to knead.

"Does the Third Line have any way to reverse this condition?" Zhang Wenda asked Hu Maomao and 2826.

"I can ask for you, but like I said before, our intel on Maya-related matters is incomplete." After speaking, 2826 looked curiously at Hu Maomao.

"Senior, what on earth happened on the moon? Why did you offend a god? According to my research, compared to Kopan, the Moon God of the Mayan Pantheon is supposed to be quite friendly to mortals."

Hearing this, Hu Maomao looked at Zhang Wenda. "Ask him yourself."

"Forget it, let’s not talk about it. At least it’s better than being hounded by Kopan. By the way, I snatched this thing from Tang Xingxiong. Besides splitting objects, it doesn’t have any other side effects, right?" Zhang Wenda said, carefully having Wai take the Jade Pendant out of the enamel mug.

Seeing the Double Fish Jade Pendant, 2826 jumped in fright and quickly took three steps back. "Tang Xingxiong?! She came after you?"

Zhang Wenda then gave a brief account of what happened. "Thinking back, the sudden plane accident must have been her doing, too. That’s why it was such a coincidence. She was trying to kill us in the crash. If the Feathered Serpent God hadn’t intervened, she probably would have made her move right then."

pulled out a phone and started typing furiously, apparently reporting to someone. "Don’t use that thing yet. It’s a high-risk Thought Wave object found in the desert of Thought Wave Eight. I’m booking tickets now. We’re going back immediately!"

"Go back? Now?" Zhang Wenda considered this, then picked up a taco from the plate and stuffed it into his three-lobed mouth, chewing vigorously.

"You don’t want to go back? The Kopan problem is solved. What are you going to do staying abroad?" Hu Maomao looked at him.

Zhang Wenda didn’t answer, just kept eating while lost in thought.

After the hearty meal was finished, Zhang Wenda had finally made up his mind.

He hooked an arm around Ahava’s, a friendly smile on his face. "Friend~ Since you were selling those things from your bag before, you must know where to get them, right?"

"Hm? What’s up?"

"Oh, nothing. I just want you to help me get another one of Kopan’s Sacrificial Knives," Zhang Wenda finally revealed his goal.

"Are you crazy? You’ve already completely pissed off the Moon God, and you still dare to use that thing? If you use it, how will you deal with Kopan?" Hu Maomao was the first to object.

"Calm down, I just want one as a backup, for emergencies. You saw how powerful that thing is."

Ahava, standing nearby, was also filled with worry. "Don’t use it, friend. You’ve already offended the Moon God. The other gods won’t be so easygoing. If you use it again, you’ll really be taken away by Kopan."

"We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it." Zhang Wenda looked completely unfazed. ’If Kopan’s Sacrificial Knife can temporarily nullify the rules of the Thought Wave, then it’ll be incredibly useful for my revenge against Qianxi. I have to get one, no matter how big the side effects are.’

"No, no, no." Ahava shook his head frantically. "I can’t bring harm to you. If I’d known this would happen, I never should have shown you that thing back at the Friendship Store."

"Ahava." Zhang Wenda gripped his arm tightly. "You’re not the only Mayan here. The streets are full of people with pointed heads. If you don’t help me find one, I’ll find a way myself. It’ll just take a little more effort."

2826, at the side, was about to speak, but Hu Maomao, frowning, raised a hand to stop them. She knew it was useless to try and persuade him now. She shook her head slightly, signaling for them to stay quiet.

Faced with Zhang Wenda’s persistence, Ahava thought for a moment with a troubled expression, then finally gritted his teeth.

"Give me 300,000 Thought Wave Two coins first. I’ll see what I can do about buying one."

In the end, Ahava left with the money. A few hours later, everyone had gathered at the airport and were about to board the plane when he finally rushed over, his eyes darting about evasively.

When he pulled open his shirt, an Obsidian Dagger with a golden handle, reeking of blood, was revealed nestled against his chest.
