"Okay, this really isn't a bad idea," Silas said, taking another gulp from the bottle in his hand.

"Wait till we add some music," Howard said, dropping a speaker.

Before either of them could speak, he played the song.

"Okay, this is good," they muttered, moving to the song's tune.

Each of them held tongs that they used to shift the chicken from time to time.

"This is burning," Howard said, pointing towards Asher's chicken.

"I kinda like it that way," Asher said with raised brows.

The music seemed to stop, even though it was still on.

"What kind of a weirdo are you?" Silas voiced, taking his eyes away from his chicken.

Asher shrugged.

"The kind that likes his grilled chicken slightly burnt?" he replied.

Silas sighed, then turned his chicken over.

"Here, take some disposable plates to serve yourselves," Howard said, bringing out a bunch of white, flat plates from his AI space.

Silas collected his own and immediately picked the chicken with the tongs.

"Yeah," he said, placing the chicken on the plate.

The others mirrored him, placing their own chicken on their plates.

"Tables," Howard said, snapping his fingers with a smile.

Three tables appeared in front of the chair in the next instant.

"Wow, you are being so strange tonight," Asher said with wide eyes.

Howard nodded with a smile.

"And what is chicken without the sauce?" A small bowl of sauce appeared on each table.

"Or chips?" Three packs of chips appeared at those words.

"Oh, yeah, your cutlery," he added.

Silas watched as a fork and knife appeared beside his plate.

"You are good at this," Silas said, shaking his head as if vibing to Howard's moves.

"I used to work as an entertainer before I got scouted," he explained with a smile.

At the same time, he plunged his fork into the chest of the chicken, then began to cut with his knife.

Asher did not hold back; he dug in instantly.

Silas looked around with a smile.

Maybe it's not so bad to let some things go, he thought before driving his fork into the chicken.

"This sauce," Silas said through a muffled breath.

His mouth was filled to the brim with the slightly brown chicken, and the deep red sauce.

"Did you make it yourself?"

Howard nodded, still chewing his chicken.

"You should consider making a career out of food," Asher said.

"How do you know what I was about to say?" Silas asked, looking away from his chicken and focusing on Asher.

"If I decided to do that, I would stop cooking for you for free, just know that," Howard said.

"I know, you would just give us food for free once we visit your restaurant, right?" Silas said.

Howard remained silent.

"Huh? Don't you want to answer?" Asher asked, facing Howard.

"No, I was only thinking of how I could pass the message to you without sounding disrespectful," he said.

"Which word?" they both asked with furrowed brows.

"Hell no, why would I give you my goods for free? Just enjoy this while it lasts. Since you have said it, I have begun to put it into consideration."

"You are betraying us?" Silas asked.

"After we gave you a business idea," Asher added.

Howard looked at their faces, then creased his forehead.

"Okay, how about this? Your first meal would cost ten percent less."

"You might as well not give us anything," Silas said.

He downed his bottle at the same time.

Time passed slowly.

The sauce was the first to finish, then the chicken, then the fries.

Howard seemed to have an endless supply of beer.

"Where are you getting all of these from?" Silas could not help but ask.

"This is like my fourth bottle and you don't seem to be running out."

"I keep emergency beers in case of my wife," Howard sighed.

"You have a wife?" Silas asked, his expression turning slightly serious.

Howard nodded calmly.

"You have even seen her before; you might just not know she is the one," he said.

"See your wife?" Silas asked.

"I have not even seen any other person aside from both of you and those registrars since I got into Milkyway," Asher added.

"Unless one of those registrars is your wife," Silas said.

"But that is not possible since they are just too hot for you," Asher said.

"First of all, why are you guys talking like this?" Howard asked with furrowed brows.

"Cool, right?" Silas said.

"Creepy, yes," Howard replied.

"Anyways, what makes you think they are too hot for me?"

"Cause they are, but even if one was yours, it should be the less hot one on Earth," Asher said, stroking his chin.

"My wife is the registrar on Mars."

"Wow, that's amazing," Silas said with a smile.

"Wait, why do you believe me now?" Howard asked.

These were people that were just saying Howard's wife could never be one of them.

"I understand everyone has their own fantasies, so I wouldn't ruin it for you," Silas said, emptying his bottle before standing up.

"I also need to sleep early," Asher said, standing up at the same time.

Howard watched both of them leave and shook his head.

"I don't care if you don't believe," Howard shrugged, standing up from the chair.

A small bot appeared at his side as he walked towards the elevator.

As the three of them entered, the bot whirred to life and began cleaning the entire place.

It did not take long before it stopped again, this time, on the second floor.

"Good night," they all bid as they entered their respective rooms.

"Huff," Silas heaved as he entered his room.

He looked around, then shrugged.

"Moving forward isn't really a bad thing," he muttered as he neared his bed.

"But for now, I need to condense an elemental core."

Another thing Auranova had told him was to get stronger.

Silas sat on the bed's edge, legs crossed over each other as he began to release his aether.
