He continued. "Since we discovered the reavers were forging cannons, our secret guards sent multiple teams disguised as merchants to infiltrate the Snake Pass. This time, one of the guards reported that they found the trial firing range for the reaver cannons. I decided to investigate personally. We did find the reaver cannons, but they looked different from ours, yellow with a greenish tint, and the barrels were thick and long, nearly four or five meters."

Simon’s eyes narrowed. Richard’s description reminded him of the Urban cannon in history.

"Is it really four to five meters long?"

In the main hall, Simon paced back and forth.

First of all, based on the color, the raiders were using bronze cannons, which meant they hadn’t mastered the technology for iron cannons.

"But my Lord, though we were exposed by the reavers, I didn’t let them off lightly. I exposed their identities too. While the reavers were tracking us, I made sure they were tracked as well. Now, Prince Ravencrest not only has cut off Brambleford’s spies, but he’s also lost his spies to the reavers. Eventually, he’ll have no choice but to buy cannons from Brambleford. When that time comes, don’t hold back." Richard said with a wicked grin.

Inside a silver tent on the steppes, Fern sat with his eyes slightly closed.

In front of him stood a Sapphire man with curly hair, brown eyes, and a prominent nose.

"Are you sure the Urban cannon will be able to shatter Dunmere’s walls?" Fern asked coldly.

"Lord Fern, please believe me. The Urban cannon has breached the strongest walls before. The walls of the Eldorian Empire will be nothing." The Sapphire craftsman replied, bowing respectfully.

He had been captured during the siege of a city, and it was there that he had witnessed cannon production.

Fern nodded. Recently, spies from the Eldorian Empire had appeared in Snake Pass, which showed that they were also fearful of the cannon.

"Let’s hope your words are true. If not, I will have your head." Fern said harshly as he dismissed the craftsman with a wave of his hand.

The craftsman trembled at his words. Just then, a guard entered the tent and announced. "Lord, the envoy from Outside has arrived."
