Knotted By The Devilish Alpha Brothers
Chapter 27: how to lose my virginityChapter 27: Chapter 27: how to lose my virginity
Kate leaned back slightly, considering her next words. Her fingers drummed against her knee in a slow, thoughtful rhythm. "There isn’t much we know about them personally. They’re careful that way. But we know a lot about their actions, their territory’s activities, the way they operate."
She paused, her green eyes growing distant for a moment.
"For example, their territory takes ceremonies very seriously. There’s a mating ceremony coming at the end of this week. Some of us are planning to attend—from a distance, of course."
Amelia already knew about the ceremony. The reminder still settled heavily in her chest.
Kate continued, her voice dropping slightly. "It’s also said the three of them aren’t ordinary alphas. There are accounts of them defeating up to thirty powerful Lycans in a single fight. Sounds impossible... but apparently it wasn’t for them."
Amelia had heard those same rumors. The words only confirmed what the entire territory already whispered.
What kind of monsters am I dealing with?
Her phone vibrated in her bag, the sudden buzz cutting through her thoughts. She pulled it out, the screen glowing bright. A short message from the driver:
You are needed back home immediately.
Kate’s brows drew together, concern flickering across her face. "The others we’re waiting for should be here soon. Can’t you stay a little longer? They’d love to meet you."
"It’s not my choice."
Kate studied her for a moment, her gaze searching. Then she nodded slowly, accepting. "Alright. But there’s something I want to know first." She paused, and when she spoke again, carefully. "Who are you to the devilish brothers?"
Amelia’s throat tightened. The truth sat on her tongue, heavy and humiliating. Mistress. Fake wife. None of it was something she could say out loud.
"It’s... embarrassing to answer that."
Kate didn’t push. Her expression softened, and she gave a small nod. "Alright. Just take care of yourself. Another time then."
Amelia walked to the door Kate remained standing in the doorway, arms crossed, watching her go.
"Don’t get lost."
Amelia left the building. The dark car was already waiting directly in front, engine idling, exhaust curling into the cool air. She wasn’t surprised.
Of course there’s a tracker in the phone.
She slid into the back seat. The door shut with a soft, final click. As the car pulled away from the lodge, Amelia unlocked her phone again and began searching—quietly, carefully—for a particular kind of alcohol. Something strong enough to make her bold. Strong enough to push her through what she needed to do if she wanted to survive.
I have to lose my virginity. The thought sat heavy in her mind. But not to the three of them. I refuse to carry that memory.
She couldn’t even imagine it—being taken by the three of them. The idea alone made her stomach twist, a cold knot forming deep in her gut. Ropes. Chains. Their eyes. The way they looked at her like she was prey. She shoved the images away before they could form fully, pressing her palms against her temples as if she could physically push them out.
The reason she was still a virgin was simple and cruel. Dylan had never slept with her, even though they had been intimate in every other way countless times. She had believed he wanted them to wait until marriage, that it was something sacred he was saving for their future together.
She had respected that. She had admired it, even. Now she understood the truth. It had been a joke at her expense. He had never wanted to sleep with a wolfless woman like her. The realization still burned, a hot shame that crawled under her skin.
So she needed someone else. Anyone else. Someone who could take that final step before the brothers claimed her. She didn’t know who yet. But she would tell Skye. Skye was the only person who already knew the truth about her virginity. If anyone could help her find a way, it would be her.
The car eventually slowed. The familiar gates of the estate opened, the iron bars swinging inward with a low groan. When the vehicle stopped in front of the main entrance, Skye was already waiting at the door, arms loosely crossed, green eyes assessing her the moment she stepped out.
"Madame is having evening dinner with her sons," Skye said without preamble. "You should be there. Wouldn’t want her wondering why the wife is eating alone in her room. That would raise questions we don’t want to answer."
Amelia nodded once. "Alright." She hesitated, then stepped closer, her voice dropping. "I need a favor."
Skye’s brow lifted slightly, curiosity flickering in her green eyes. "What is it?"
Amelia leaned in, voice dropping to a near-whisper so no one else could overhear. Her heart hammered against her ribs.
"I want to break my virginity before I’m claimed by the devils."
Skye went completely still.
