Chapter 97: Chapter 93: The Sacred Dimension of the Elves
Chapter 93: The Sacred Dimension of the Elves
He tried to increase the Gravity even further.
Nothing.
The dimensional force was simply too powerful.
Then the first Hunter was ripped from the ground and disappeared into the portal.
Then another.
And another.
"Everyone, stay together!"
Alex reached out toward his companions, but no one could control their own movements anymore. Mónica was violently dragged away and tried to keep Mimi close.
"Mimi!"
"I’m with you!"
The two disappeared into the light.
Feliciana was pulled in immediately afterward. She tried to keep the barrier active until the very last moment, but eventually disappeared inside the portal.
John lost the blade he had been using to hold himself to the ground.
"This definitely wasn’t part of the plan!"
His voice disappeared along with his body.
Felicia still tried to resist, but she too was dragged away. Arnaldo remained anchored to the ground for a few more seconds, until even the Sword Saint began losing his battle against that force.
Alex immediately looked at Tiffany.
She was only a few meters away, being dragged directly toward the portal. Her purple hair whipped violently around her face, and her eyes remained fixed on him.
"Tiffany!"
She raised her eyes.
Alex extended his hand.
"Come! Give me your hand!"
Tiffany tried to reach him.
"Alex, I can’t!"
"You can! Keep trying!"
Their fingers finally touched.
Alex closed his hand and managed to grab hers.
For a brief moment, he believed he could pull her closer.
Then a monstrous force struck both of them.
Alex’s feet left the ground.
"Tiffany!"
She tightened her grip on his hand.
"Don’t let go of me!"
"I won’t!"
The two of them were dragged simultaneously into the portal.
Everything disappeared.
Silence.
That was the first thing Alex noticed.
There were no screams, no sounds of battle, no voices. Only a deep silence, occasionally broken by the distant sound of the wind.
Alex slowly opened his eyes.
An intense light struck his face, and it took him several seconds to see clearly. When he raised his head, he realized he was lying on a thick layer of green leaves.
He placed one hand on the ground and began to stand.
The leaves were different from anything he had ever seen. Some were small and delicate, while others were almost the size of his hands.
Between the roots were flowers of unknown colors, some emitting a soft glow, others surrounded by a thin, shimmering mist.
Alex stood and looked around. The forest was enormous.
Colossal trees rose far above him, their trunks so wide that several people would have needed to stand side by side to circle them.
Their roots crossed the ground like petrified serpents, some forming natural arches before disappearing beneath the earth once more.
The treetops were so high that they almost concealed the sky.
Even so, rays of light passed through the leaves and descended in long golden columns, illuminating the forest floor.
Small luminous particles floated through the air, moving slowly like dust suspended in the atmosphere.
Alex extended one hand and watched one of them drift past his fingers.
The place was silent and filled with immense vitality.
The entire forest seemed alive.
The wind passed between the trees, causing the leaves to sway gently.
Ancient branches moved above his head, and somewhere in the distance, some kind of bird-like creature released a song Alex had never heard before.
He raised his face and saw the sky, which was a deep, clear blue.
There were no buildings, roads, or any sign of civilization.
Only that immense forest stretching as far as his eyes could see.
Alex remained silent for a few seconds.
It was too beautiful.
But he did not lower his guard.
"Tiffany?" he called, but received no answer.
Alex slowly turned around.
"Mónica? Mimi?"
Only silence continued.
He took a few steps.
"Feliciana! John!"
Nothing.
Alex clenched his fists.
"Felicia! Arnaldo!"
Only the wind answered.
He took a deep breath and tried to organize his thoughts.
He did not know where the others were. He did not know whether they had reached the same place, and even worse, he did not know whether the portal had sent them to the same dimension.
Alex closed his eyes for a moment.
The System appeared before him.
[YOU HAVE LEFT THE DREAM OF GOD.]
[ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS IN PROGRESS.]
Alex opened his eyes.
[ELFIC DIMENSION.]
He frowned.
A second piece of information appeared immediately afterward.
[ENVIRONMENT DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO ANY REGISTERED DUNGEON.]
Alex looked at the forest again.
"Another dimension..."
The words came out slowly.
He had entered a dungeon and now found himself in another world.
Alex began walking, keeping his hand near his sword. He needed to find the others before anything else.
Each step produced a faint sound against the leaves scattered across the ground. The environment remained peaceful, but there was something about that peace that began to bother him.
After a few meters, Alex stopped.
Something was wrong.
His Perception attribute was constantly warning him.
He looked behind him, turned to the left, then to the right.
Alex remained completely still, and then he heard a low sound.
A growl.
His hand slowly moved as he summoned his sword.
He raised his hand toward a tree, and Excalibur appeared.

Another growl answered from the other side of the forest.
Then another.
And another.
Alex did not move.
The trees around him began to sway.
It was not the wind.
Something was hiding among them.
His eyes slowly scanned the darkness between the trunks until two yellow eyes appeared behind a tree.
Alex remained motionless as the two eyes stared at him.
An increasing number of eyes began appearing between the trees.
Dozens of them.
Then the creatures began emerging from the forest.
The first was enormous and quadrupedal, with muscles exposed beneath dark, uneven skin.
Its claws were long enough to carve deep marks into the ground, while its head vaguely resembled that of a monstrous wolf.
When it opened its mouth, Alex saw four rows of sharp teeth.
Another creature emerged behind it.
It had six legs, and its body was protected by a black carapace. Its red eyes were scattered across its head, watching Alex from different angles.
A third creature slowly appeared from behind a tree trunk.
It was almost humanoid.
Almost.
Its arms were far too long for its body and ended in deformed hands, whose fingers possessed curved claws. Its mouth stretched from one side of its face to the other, revealing an endless row of teeth.
Alex took a step back.
More creatures began emerging from the forest.
Some were large, while others were small.
Some crawled along the ground, while others walked on four or six legs.
There were creatures of different shapes and sizes, but they all had something in common.
They were all looking at Alex.
They looked hungry.
A deep roar passed through the forest.
One of the creatures advanced several steps, lowering its body as it prepared to attack.
Alex raised his sword.
"So this is how it’s going to be."
Alex used his Class Skill, Call of the Round Table Lv. 2.
Particles of energy gathered behind him, forming human silhouettes.
Alex observed the monsters. His expression became cold.
"Rise."
The figures of his knights began materializing one after another behind him.
A well-proportioned purple oval face, long white hair, and black armor.
Blue hair like the ocean, matching eyes of the same color, and black armor covering his body as he firmly raised a spear.
While the female knight radiated electric energy, the male knight exuded a coldness capable of freezing everything.
Attributes:
Strength = 91
Dexterity = 91
Agility = 91
Constitution = 91
Each of the knights reflected Alex’s passive attributes.
Alex gripped the sword firmly.
The knights took their positions behind their master.
The monsters responded with new roars.
The entire forest seemed to tremble.
Alex took a step forward, keeping his eyes fixed on the creatures.
"Attack."
