The four of them walked into the party and were immediately greeted by Zain, who was wasted off his ass.

"What’s up Tyler and my beautiful ladies!" He screamed.

"Sorry about the obnoxious drunk over here," Adam joked as he walked up to greet them.

"Come on in. There’s non-alcoholic stuff to drink in the fridge. Otherwise, Zain convinced some third years to bring some booze."

"Woah, I didn’t expect there to be this many people," Tyler smirked.

"Prestigous University with a bunch of ability users, what did you expect?" Sophie laughed.

"Not this..." Amanda said nervously.

"Don’t worry girl I got you," Sophie said, grabbing her hand tightly. "Let’s go mingle."

Sophie took Amanda over to a group of girls she knew and introduced them. They were all being nice to Amanda and happy to meet her. Adam walked over to Tyler with a huge smile on his face.

"What’s up with you and the ladies bro," Adam asked while handing Tyler a drink he’d never seen before. It looked like soda from Earth but in a weirdly shaped triangular bottle. It was also green, which confused him.

"What is this bro?"

"Never had it before? It’s just a soft drink. They’re good."

"Oh, cool. Uh. I don’t know. We just have a little fun and they’re good cuddle buddies."

"Wait, you and Amanda have a little fun? Details bro."

Tyler explained the situation without diving into too many of the personal details and Adam laughed.

"Well at least they’re willing to share and be civil. Look, it looks like they’re having fun."

Tyler smiled as Sophie, Amanda and Katy were talking to another group of girls, ignoring all guys that came up to them.

Professor Vanhorn made sure the party wouldn’t have any interruptions by casting a sleeping spell on all the staff members just after 9 PM. Afterwards, he made his way to his secret lair and began preparing another ritual to open the Land of Summoned Monsters.

"Tonight is the night I open the gates!" He muttered with malicious joy.

Everyone was having a good time. Tyler was meeting a bunch of new people and women were consistently coming up to him and Adam. The thing that amazed Tyler was his female friends were not jealous at all.

’My girlfriend never let it bother her either but she knew I was always faithful. They’re blowing off attractive dudes, dancing with each other and having fun and don’t even care if women are talking to us. This planet kicks ass.’

"Aren’t you worried your party is going to get busted? Especially with how drunk half the people are?" Tyler asked Adam with a light chuckle.

"It’s kind of weird that a single professor hasn’t stopped by, especially with how many people are here. I thought we would have to clear out some of them by now, especially for a Friday."

"Hey Adam, who’s your new friend?" A gorgeous black haired demon with pink horns, black eyes with pink pupils, a petite frame and modest chest and perfect booty asked.

"Oh, hey Kass, that’s Tyler. He was home schooled but has a one bedroom penthouse on campus."

"Very nice. Dance with me?" She asked while grabbing his hand.

Tyler smiled and followed her before she stopped and started grinding on him. The loud music was upbeat electronic dance music, which reminded Tyler of his time on Earth. She eventually turned and was dancing with him with her arms wrapped around his shoulders.

"Looks like Tyler has a new friend." Amanda frowned while taking a drink of her water bottle.

"Kass is a cool girl. I think you’d like her," Sophie said loudly over the music.

"Why are you so chill and awesome about everything?" Amanda asked.

"Life’s too short to be stressed and pissed off around the people you like. I take my anger out on the people I don’t like, like my asshole ex boyfriend I told you about. We were together for two years and last month he accused me of cheating and I found out he was sleeping with some college whores."

"What a prick!" Amanda said angrily.

"You got that right!" Katy laughed.

"I’m sorry but I made out with Tyler today," Amanda whispered to Sophie, feeling like she had to be honest with her.

"Good for you but why are you telling me?" She whispered back.

"That first night we slept at Tyler’s, I woke up when you two were talking about me. I just assumed you and Tyler were dating or hooking up."

Sophie laughed. "We just made out a few times, Amanda. I’m not gonna drop my panties and fuck a man because I think he’s hot. He’s a good guy. He cares about us and his familiars a lot. He hasn’t really shown much interest in Katy but I think that’s because her and Zain have a weird flirty thing."

"Can I ask you a super personal question?"

"You always can. We’re close friends now!"

Sophie carefully chose the word close, despite only knowing her for just over three weeks, to remind Amanda that she shouldn’t be discarded and written off so easily. It was a thoughtful word choice.

They both smiled and Amanda asked, "Have you had sex before?"

"Just with my ex, but ya. Why do you ask?"

Amanda blushed. "Tyler was the first person I’ve kissed."

"Aw. That’s amazing!" She smiled.

She continued bluntly, but in a friendly tone.

"So... please don’t go to a party alone. Seriously don’t accept drinks from anyone at this school you do not know, whether it’s at the lounge or anywhere else. Too many ability users pull some sketchy shit and I don’t want you getting hurt or taken advantage of."

Amanda hugged her and had a few teardrops in her eyes. "You are an amazing person, thank you."

Sophie wiped Amanda’s tears away. "And you’re too pretty to cry. Quick, look at Tyler, looks like we both need to step our games up."

Tyler was making out with Kass and Adam was laughing while heading towards the girls.

"Neither of you are jealous or upset. What the hell is going on?"

"Not worth it, she is attractive and Tyler is just a nice guy." Amanda shrugged.

Sophie hugged Amanda, "I’m proud of you, nice job. Let’s see if we can convince him to let us sleep over again tonight."

Amanda gave a firm, confident nod.

Kass pulled away, asked for Tyler’s phone and put her number in it.

"Just so you know I’m just dating casually so if you’re looking for—"

Kass cut him off. "Hold off there Romeo. I’m not looking for anything serious. Zain mentioned you and those girls with Adam hang out a lot. Who else are you fooling around with?"

"I’ve made out with the brunette and the blonde. Is everyone here so straightforward?"

"I could just charm you and know the answer but what’s the fun in that? I’m friends with Sophie, I was just giving you shit."

"Oh for real? That’s cool. What rank are you?"

"C. I’m one of the rare demons who was born with sacred demon arts and not a regular ability. What about you?"

"D and I’m a summoner."

"Oh, nice, we both have unique classes. We should all get together and hang out sometime?"

Tyler smiled.

"The blonde elf was pretty much outcasted. Her family and people treated her poorly so we’re all trying to help her build confidence. As long as you’re cool with helping and don’t put her down, why not start now?"

"Any friend of Sophie is a friend of mine. That sounds good, let’s go say hey."

Tyler and Kass walked over. He was slightly nervous they would be jealous or treat him differently. Tyler wasn’t exactly sure why he felt that way, especially with how Sophie and Amanda both treated him on a regular basis. He was in a relationship for so long on Earth he forgot what casual dating was like, but he didn’t remember it being like this.

"Oh, they’re headed our way." Amanda said calmly.

"Hey what’s up everyone. Nice party Adam." Kass smiled.

"Good to see you Sophie!" She said and the two hugged.

"Good to see you too. This is Amanda, she’s an elven healer who can buff people and debuff enemies. I felt like I ranked up when she buffed me, it was hella impressive."

"Hey Amanda! Tyler said you’re really sweet and a good friend" Kass said while hugging her.

"That was nice of him. Sophie told me you two have been friends since freshman year of high school. How big of a douche was her ex?"

"Oh, a huge prick. I tried telling her, but Sophie knows best if you haven’t caught that drift," Kass chuckled.

"I do, though." Sophie laughed. "Just not with that asshole."

The group was lost in conversation and didn’t realize Tyler wasn’t around. They didn’t think anything of it, but a pentagram that Tyler didn’t see formed below him, causing him to vanish.

No one noticed, and Tyler didn’t know where the hell he was. Meanwhile, Professor VanHorn was quite proud of himself, until he realized that the Pentagram he formed wasn’t around him.

"What the fuck did I do wrong?" He screamed in anger.

About twenty minutes later, the girls and Adam finally noticed Tyler was still not back so they looked around the dorm together.

"Alright what could have happened? Let’s check his apartment?" Sophie asked while tapping her foot rapidly.

"Sophie, Amanda, Kass and Katy go knock on his apartment door and let me know. I gotta clear people out," Adam said nervously.

"Wait, look. That one kid looks spooked!" Amanda noticed.

They pushed their way through people to get to him.

"Bro you ok?" Adam asked.

"Naw man. I just saw a demonic pentagram on the ground, someone got stuck in it and they were gone! Where did it lead too?" the kid said before puking on the floor.

"What hell man?" Adam complained before turning the music off and kicking everyone out of his dorm.

"Ask every professor at school you trust where and why a pentagram would show up in a dorm room. People will probably laugh and say we’re crazy, but I don’t know what else to do!" Sophie cried out to her friends.
