"When Qin does things, why would I need evidence? Once I’ve decided, it is fact."
Qin Yi’s eyes were razor sharp, his dominance peerless.
"Jin Nu, since you refuse to admit it, I’ll just let you watch with your own eyes as your City Lord’s Mansion is turned into ruins where not even a blade of grass survives."
Qin Yi raised his hand, forming a Sealing with one hand.
Lines of dazzling Purple Light roamed through the air, in an instant forming a vast Star Map that blotted out the heavens.
Beneath the starry sky, the great stars swayed.
Qin Yi stretched out a finger and flicked lightly; three large stars shuddered, then thundered down.
The falling stars burned in midair, becoming Fire Meteors.
A terrifying pressure came crashing down like the sky collapsing, sweeping over them; everyone present felt their Divine Souls tremble, unable to breathe.
"Boom!"
One great star fell into the middle of the building complex and exploded with a roar; a horrific storm mixed with waves of fire swept madly in all directions, devouring everything around.
The earth ruptured; buildings, vegetation, mountains and rocks all ground to dust.
When the storm passed, only a vacuum zone over several hundred meters in diameter remained.
Then, two more earth-shattering explosions rang out, flames surging a hundred meters high.
The ground was charred black, thick smoke billowing; cracking sounds continuously came from the ground as at least a tenth of the entire City Lord’s Mansion turned into scorched earth where no grass could grow.
The whole field was seized by terror!
Everyone present was scared out of their wits, faces ashen.
Jin Nu’s whole body trembled uncontrollably; only now did he truly understand that this terrifying young powerhouse before him wasn’t just talking—he really could turn the City Lord’s Mansion into dead land.
Qin Yi’s face was expressionless as he slowly stretched out his hand and pushed at the stars.
Here, the only ones he truly cared about were Yun Mengyao and the other two; as for how many people would die under this terrifying devastation, at least for now, that was not within his considerations.
When the avalanche comes, not a single splash of blood is innocent.
He never killed the innocent, but he did not believe there were any innocent people in the City Lord’s Mansion.
Jin Nu was no good bird, and his son was the same; everyone in the City Lord’s Mansion had, more or less, done things that defied heaven and harmed reason.
"Stop!"
Seeing Qin Yi stretch out his hand to push, the stars swaying, Jin Nu panicked.
"You think I’ll stop just because you say so? You really don’t take my words to heart."
Qin Yi’s fingertip moved slightly.
"Boom!"
The terrifying star burned into a Fire Meteor and plummeted at high speed, precisely striking the grandest great hall of the City Lord’s Mansion.
The sky collapsed and the earth cracked, storms swept, fire waves howled.
That magnificent great hall turned to ash in an instant; the storm devoured outward in all directions, only halting when a vacuum zone several hundred meters in diameter appeared.
"Thud, thud..."
Some people, resisting the pressure of this terrifying scene, had their legs give out and collapsed to the ground.
Everyone present looked as if they’d lost their fathers, faces like dead ashes.
Qin Yi’s gaze moved onto Jin Nu as he said coldly, "I hope you can withstand one strike from me."
Jin Nu’s old face changed color, his whole body trembling as he howled hoarsely, "Save me!"
"I want you dead; no one can save you."
"Boom!"
His finger pointed; the star fell.
Jin Nu let out a horrified shriek, his face pale as paper without a trace of blood; he smelled the aura of death.
However, suddenly golden radiance blazed forth; streaks of Gold roamed through the air and in an instant condensed into a gigantic golden net.
The great star smashed into the golden net and was actually stopped.
Qin Yi’s sword brows lifted slightly as he said coldly, "Explode!"
"Boom!"
The star erupted with a roar, its terrifying might shaking the heavens completely.
The golden giant net was directly torn to pieces, and the storm, carrying raging fire waves, swept down to devour Jin Nu.
"Whoosh!"
A golden long whip tore through the night sky, sweeping in to coil around Jin Nu’s waist, attempting to pull him to safety.
"Stay for me!"
Qin Yi bellowed, his hand turning into a claw; a terrifying suction burst from his palm, dragging Jin Nu back again.
The golden long whip went taut in an instant, trying to yank Jin Nu away, but was held by the terrifying suction of Qin Yi’s palm; the two sides formed a tug of war.
"Boom!"
The storm and fire waves from the star’s explosion poured down, directly engulfing Jin Nu.
In an instant, the ground within several dozen meters turned into scorched earth, terrifying fissures spreading outward in all directions.
That golden long whip snapped apart in several pieces in an instant.
A shrill scream came from the center of the storm.
Qin Yi snorted coldly.
Several figures appeared abruptly.
Three people in total: two dressed in black robes, one seemingly a monk.
This person was over two meters tall, bald, his upper body bare; bulging muscles like boulders, faintly shining with a bronzed hue.
"They’re people from the Vajra Sect." Evil Lord suddenly said.
Qin Yi frowned; so these were people from the Vajra Sect. He’d heard Evil Lord mention them in passing.
"Those two are from the Netherworld Clan. The Vajra Sect is the Netherworld Clan’s lapdog. Showing up together is only logical."
Qin Yi looked at the three and snorted coldly. Whether they were from the Netherworld Clan or the Vajra Sect, if they dared lay hands on his friends, they would have to pay in blood.
By now, the storm had dispersed.
All eyes shifted over.
Weak wails sounded; Jin Nu was still alive.
However, Jin Nu’s appearance was truly miserable. His clothing was completely destroyed, all his hair burned to ash; his entire body was pitch-black like charcoal.
"Sa... save me..." Jin Nu looked at the three, letting out a feeble cry for help.
One person, his entire body shrouded in a black robe, lifted his hand; a small blade of vivid green grass flew toward Jin Nu.
Qin Yi’s eyes brightened slightly. A mid-grade Spirit Grass—he recognized this thing.
Generous indeed; he just up and throws out a mid-grade Spirit Grass.
Qin Yi sighed inwardly, then a circular ring formed from Star and Moon Symbols appeared in midair; that Spirit Grass flew into the ring and disappeared abruptly.
Everyone felt something and focused their gaze, only to see that Spirit Grass appearing in Qin Yi’s hand.
Qin Yi put the Spirit Grass away, looked at the black-robed man who’d sacrificed it, and said blandly, "I want to kill him; you want to save him. You’re making things difficult for me, Fat Tiger."
Everyone was dumbfounded. Aren’t you called Qin Yi? How did your name suddenly become Fat Tiger? The more you change it, the uglier it gets.
Naturally, they had no idea about Qin Yi’s joke.
The black-robed man’s voice was sharp as he chuckled eerily a few times, making people’s skin crawl. "What a vigorous bloodline and body. Truly excellent material for crafting a Puppet."
Qin Yi’s gaze turned ice-cold as he looked at him. "People of the Netherworld Clan, people of the Vajra Sect—you dare meddle in my business. In that case, you’d better meddle to the end. Don’t you dare quit halfway."
"Swoosh!"
Qin Yi’s figure abruptly vanished from where he stood.
"Om!"
Suddenly, a deep bell chime erupted from within the Vajra Sect man’s body; at the same time, his skin instantly turned Gold, his whole being like he’d been cast from Gold.
"Layman, your killing karma is too heavy. Put down the butcher’s blade and become a Buddha on the spot."
Qin Yi’s figure suddenly appeared in midair; his eyes were vacant, as if he’d been hit by an Immobilization Spell.
The Vajra Sect man slowly rose, sitting cross-legged in midair, drifting to appear before Qin Yi.
"Heaven has the virtue of cherishing life. Those who slaughter their lords have no right to strip others of their lives. Only by laying down the butcher’s blade can you behold my Buddha’s true meaning."
"Your sins are grave; let this old monk ferry you into Reincarnation. May your next life be a heart like glazed glass..."
As he spoke, he extended a finger, pointing at Qin Yi’s brow.
Yet at this moment, Qin Yi’s eyes suddenly cleared, and a wicked smile curled at the corner of his lips.
"Bang!"
A heavy punch landed squarely on the other’s face.
