Chapter 187: Opportunity to Throw Hands

Yue spun around to face Solomon. Her emerald eyes blazed with sudden fury.

"You cannot do that!" Yue protested, pointing her jade fan at his chest. "That technique forms the absolute foundation of our sect’s defense. Distributing our legacy to foreign armies violates our strictest laws. If you teach these soldiers our footwork, rival factions could easily spy on their drills, analyze the stances, and develop direct counters. You would essentially be handing our enemies the blueprint to slaughter our disciples!"

’Her logic makes sense for a hidden martial world,’ Solomon thought to himself. ’But she is missing one undeniable flaw in her argument.’

Solomon raised his free hand and pointed a finger directly at the floating bronze owl hovering over his shoulder.

"I am currently teaching these four students while broadcasting on a twenty-four-hour live stream," Solomon explained calmly. "Millions of people across multiple dimensions watch my screen every single day. My chat viewers already know the first five steps of the Azure Crane Blade by heart. They literally correct Arthur in the comments when his footing is off."

He lowered his hand and looked Yue directly in the eyes. "Master Wu and Pavilion Leader Jin both know my drone records everything. They assigned me this exact mission anyway. The secret is already out, so your concerns about me teaching a few local guards are completely invalid."

[Mezz_3863: HE BROUGHT THE RECEIPTS!]

[1Fizzy: LMAO WE DO KNOW THE STEPS NOW!]

[Berrel: Solo Man destroying the ancient martial arts tropes.]

[M00N: Yue is malfunctioning.]

[James_hayes: bro just leaked the entire sect legacy to the multiverse.]

[Dark_Skies: the grandmasters definitely did not think about this.]

[2Lazy2Care: checkmate.]

Yue stared at the bronze owl. Her mouth parted slightly as the undeniable reality of the situation washed over her. She completely failed to formulate a counterargument against the existence of the multidimensional broadcast.

She snapped her jade fan closed and crossed her arms tightly over her chest.

"I am the Tenth Pavilion Master," Yue stated, lifting her chin to salvage her pride. "I do not care what you do with the legacy of the Sword Pavilion. My job was simply to alert you to the risks, and that is now done. Whatever disaster happens because of your loose lips will be entirely your fault."

Yue turned on her heel and marched away from the group, heading straight back to Princess Syra to resume her private lessons.

Marco picked up his wooden sword and looked at Solomon. "Are you actually serious about this? Teaching a foreign military our foundational style might cause political trouble later on."

"As I said, the live stream already bypassed the secrecy rules," Solomon replied, adjusting his grip on his practice blade. "Teaching a few local guards changes nothing for the sect."

Elizabeth frowned and crossed her arms over her pristine uniform. "We only have a few days left to master the thirteenth step. Babysitting these palace sentries will only delay our own progress."

"Your training remains my top priority," Solomon assured her. He turned to face the two military officers waiting on the grass. "I will teach your men. I have strict conditions before we start."

Commander Wei nodded and stepped forward. "Name your terms."

"I demand total authority over the training sessions," Solomon stated, holding up a single finger. "You and your officers will stand back and remain silent. You will not question my methods. You will not interfere to offer corrections. If either of you steps into my ring or complains about how I treat your men, the lessons end permanently."

Unit Leader Gao gritted his teeth. "You are just a foreign teenager. You cannot dictate military terms to us!"

"Those are my terms," Solomon responded smoothly. "Take the deal or leave the courtyard."

Wei raised a hand to silence his subordinate. He recognized the value of the Azure Crane Blade. "We accept your conditions. We will provide twenty of our best men for your class."

Wei and Gao turned toward the assembled squads observing from the sidelines. They selected twenty soldiers and ordered them to fall in line within the dirt ring. The chosen men grabbed wooden practice swords and formed neat rows in front of the silver-haired boy.

Solomon walked to the center of the training ground. "Watch closely. I will only demonstrate the full sequence once."

He dropped his center of gravity and unleashed the thirteen steps of the Azure Crane Blade. He moved with a fluid grace that defied his young age.

He initiated the sequence with a downward chop and transitioned seamlessly into a spinning deflection. Bounding off the ball of his foot, he executed the mid-air horizontal slash of the eleventh step. He landed smoothly into the twelfth crouching parry.

Finally, he compressed his momentum into the thirteenth step, executing a high-velocity piercing strike combined with a backward leap.

The performance left the courtyard in stunned silence. The twenty selected soldiers stared in awe, their eyes wide at the flawless execution of the legendary technique.

[James_hayes: bro just put on a cinematic masterpiece.]

[1Fizzy: the footwork is so clean.]

[Fatal_Beauty: the soldiers are literally speechless.]

[Mezz_3863: Solo Man showing them how it is done.]

"Now practice the first step," Solomon ordered, pointing at the rows of men. "Start moving."

The soldiers raised their practice weapons and attempted the initial deflection arc.

An hour passed under the afternoon sun. Solomon paced between the rows. Not a single man could perform the first step correctly.

They swung their wooden swords like rigid clubs, unable to grasp the concept of redirecting momentum. Their military drills had ingrained stiff, forceful habits into their muscles.

Solomon watched them stumble over their own boots. He questioned how these sentries had been trained to defend a royal palace. They could not understand a basic flowing sword technique.

’This is exactly what I have been waiting for ever since we arrived at the palace,’ Solomon thought to himself, smirking inwardly. ’They are the same guards and soldiers.’

He had not forgotten how the sentries treated him and his friends at the front gates. He was a petty person who always paid back what was owed to him. He could not engage the soldiers without causing problems for Yue and Lune.

However, now, by securing total authority as their instructor, he had essentially tricked the commander into giving him free rein over their physical well-being.

Solomon stepped in front of a struggling soldier named Bao. Bao swung his wooden sword in a clunky arc.

Without uttering a single warning, Solomon pulled his right arm back and punched Bao directly in the face.

The impact echoed across the training ground. Bao stumbled backward, dropped his practice sword, and crashed onto the dirt. Blood trickled from his nose as he groaned in pain.

Marco stopped mid strike, his eyes widening. Arthur pushed his spectacles up his nose, his jaw hanging open. Elizabeth turned around to see what happened.

Commander Wei and Unit Leader Gao took an involuntary step forward, but they remembered the strict terms and forced themselves to halt.

[Stephen-Wood: HE JUST PUNCHED HIM!]

[GoonLord: AHAHAHA THAT"S THE SOLO MAN I KNOW!!]

[Scott_Carson: bro found the legal loophole to beat up the guards.]

[M00N: Solo Man collecting his debts.]

[IceWaterKat: the commander cannot even intervene!]

[Chi_Master: best teacher ever.]

[Dark_Skies: Elizabeth looks so confused right now. She wasn’t paying attention.]

Solomon shook his knuckles and looked at the remaining nineteen soldiers standing frozen in the dirt ring.

"Your footing is terrible, and your wrists are too stiff," Solomon announced to the horrified men. He pointed at the groaning soldier on the ground. "If you do not master the first form by the end of the day, every single one of you will get the exact same treatment."

’With this...’ Solomon smirked widely. ’I can beat the shit out of them to my heart’s content.’
