The grueling training schedule continued for. Five days passed in a blur of sweat and clacking wood, yielding remarkable daily improvements across the group.
Marco executed the eleventh step flawlessly, learning to keep his ankles relaxed to harness his rotational momentum.
Maximus pushed past his stiff shoulders to master the fourth and fifth forms, and he now focused his Vanguard strength on learning the footwork for the sixth step.
Arthur proudly demonstrated three full forms without collapsing onto the grass.
Elizabeth also reached the fifth form, keeping her hips perfectly aligned and her center of gravity low during the sweeping cuts.

[Mezz_3863: Arthur getting three forms is a miracle.]
[Dark_Skies: Elizabeth is actually thriving under his teaching.]
The intense routine did not go unnoticed by the locals. The royal soldiers stationed around the palace grounds naturally gravitated toward the guest rings during their own drills. The daily audience grew larger every single afternoon.
A few seasoned knights observed the flawless mechanics of the Azure Crane Blade. They nodded in clear approval and loudly commended Solomon’s unconventional teaching methods.
"Look at the passion in those academy novices!" a veteran knight yelled, pointing a gauntleted finger at his own resting squad. "They swing their practice blades until dusk! You lot complain after a single hour of drills! Pick up your weapons and show some actual effort!"
While several younger guards quickly became dedicated fans of the silver-haired boy, the constant comparisons bred resentment among the others. The ruthless academy regimen made the local military look lazy, stirring envy and hatred within the ranks of the palace soldiers.
’Let them stare,’ Solomon thought, resting his greatsword against his collarbone while scanning the growing crowd of disgruntled guards. ’If they spent half as much time practicing as they do complaining, they might actually learn how to hold a weapon properly.’
[Fatal_Beauty: the knights are literally taking notes.]
[Stephen-Wood: the local guards look so jealous right now.]
[Scott_Carson: Solo Man making the royal army look bad.]
[Mezz_3863: haters going to hate.]
[Austin: bro is creating enemies just by existing.]
Solomon returned his attention to his class, pointing his wooden practice blade toward Marco to initiate the next sequence.
Later that afternoon, the clatter of wooden practice swords echoed across the dirt rings. Solomon corrected Arthur’s wrist alignment just as the crowd of observing palace soldiers suddenly parted. Two high-ranking military officials marched directly onto the training grounds.
Unit Commander Wei carried a calm, seasoned presence, while Unit Leader Gao walked with rigid shoulders and a visible scowl. They stopped a few paces away from Solomon, effectively halting the training session.
Yue, who had been giving Princess Syra private lessons on the adjacent manicured lawn, noticed the large gathering of armored guards. She snapped her jade fan closed and immediately walked over to Solomon’s group to investigate the commotion.
"What specific technique are your students practicing?" Commander Wei asked, inspecting Marco’s fluid stance.
"This is the Azure Crane Blade," Solomon responded, resting his wooden practice sword against his shoulder. "It is the foundational swordsmanship style of the Sword Pavilion at the Azure Dragon Sect."
Wei nodded thoughtfully and looked directly at the silver-haired boy. "Have you taken specialized teaching classes or attended a pedagogical institute? How do you possess the ability to instruct students of your own age so effectively, making them learn complex forms in such a short amount of time?"
Solomon shrugged his shoulders. "I have never taken a teaching class in my life. The rapid progress does not come from my instruction. It stems entirely from the comprehension of my students and their genuine passion to learn. They push their own capabilities to the limit. I am not doing anything special, so all the credit belongs to them."
Unit Leader Gao bristled at the explanation. He stepped forward and placed his hand on his scabbard.
"Are you insinuating something?" Gao demanded, his voice rising in anger. "Are you calling our kingdom’s training methods garbage? Are you standing there calling our loyal soldiers idiots just because they struggle with their drills?"
Solomon let out a quiet sigh. "I never said a single word about your soldiers. You are the one suggesting they are idiots."
He pointed his wooden blade toward the gathered crowd of military men. "If your training methods were actually perfect, or if your soldiers were genuinely eager and passionate to learn, you would not be standing here asking a teenager for teaching tips."
[1Fizzy: THE LOGIC TRAP!]
[Fatal_Beauty: Solo Man turning their words against them.]
[James_hayes: bro never loses an argument.]
[Grim: the unit leader just played himself.]
[Tyler_Klare: completely dismantled the guy.]
Gao flushed a brilliant shade of crimson, opening his mouth to yell another insult. Commander Wei quickly raised a hand to silence his subordinate.
Wei turned his attention back to Solomon. "Since your methods clearly produce results, would you be willing to teach a few of our soldiers the Azure Crane Blade technique?"
Before Solomon could open his mouth to answer, Yue stepped right into the middle of the conversation.
"Absolutely not," Yue declared, her voice carrying the absolute authority of her position. "The Azure Crane Blade is the legacy technique of the Azure Dragon Sect. Only officially inducted disciples of the Sword Pavilion are permitted to learn those forms."
Solomon looked at the eager soldiers and then at the commander. "Sure, I will teach them."
The entire courtyard plunged into stunned silence. Marco dropped his practice sword onto the dirt. Elizabeth widened her red eyes, while Commander Wei and Unit Leader Gao stared at the boy in complete disbelief.
Nobody had expected him to casually agree to distribute a sect’s martial secrets to a foreign military.
’What?’ Marco stared at him. ’That doesn’t seem like something he would ever say. Why did he agree so easily without protesting?’
’Based on how the soldiers and everyone treated him and us, I never expected him to be okay with teaching them,’ Elizabeth thought. ’Maybe he wants to make sure there are no casualties during the royal sermon?’
Meanwhile, Solomon was hiding the wildest smirk on his face.
