Chapter 221: Taking Lessons From Yue, Supposedly Forbidden Technique

"You only have one core?" Yue asked, her voice dropping to a harsh whisper. "I need to confirm that physically."

Without uttering a single word, Solomon immediately grabbed the hem of his gray academy uniform and pulled the shirt over his head, completely exposing his bare chest in the middle of the carriage.

[Zoomtech: BRO STRIPPED AGAIN!]

[James_hayes: he has zero hesitation!]

[Brerell: we are blessed today.]

[Mezz_3863: Solo Man takes instructions very literally.]

[Foodball: quickest undress in the realms.]

Yue’s cheeks flushed a brilliant shade of pink. She quickly averted her gaze toward the wooden wall of the cabin. "There was no need for you to remove your entire shirt for this!"

"It makes the process faster," Solomon reasoned, tossing the fabric onto the adjacent seat.

Yue let out a long breath to regain her composure. She shifted closer on the cushions and gently placed her palm flat against the center of his chest. She released a subtle pulse of her own green spiritual aura, letting the energy seep into his body to map his internal pathways.

Her eyes widened further as she navigated his meridian network. "You were telling the truth. You genuinely only have a single, primary aura core unlocked near your heart. However, your surrounding meridian pathways are completely clear and unnaturally wide."

She pulled her hand back and adopted her professional teaching persona.

"The human body possesses exactly seven potential aura cores," Yue explained, gesturing to different points on her own torso. "The first core sits near the heart, acting as the primary engine. The second and third cores are located within the shoulders, dictating the flow of energy into your arms for weapon strikes."

"The fourth and fifth cores sit within the hips, managing your footwork and evasive speed. The sixth core rests near the navel, acting as a massive reserve tank to store excess aura. Finally, the seventh core is located inside the mind, allowing you to project your intent externally to suppress weaker opponents."

Solomon listened intently, mentally mapping the locations onto his own body.

"To unlock the secondary cores in your shoulders, you must manually force your existing aura out of your primary heart core and push it violently against the closed meridian gates," Yue continued. "It is an incredibly painful and agonizing process. It feels exactly like trying to force a raging river through a solid stone wall."

Solomon grinned, cracking his knuckles. He had endured fifteen years of unimaginable agony inside the mental void. A little internal pressure sounded like a walk in the park.

He closed his eyes, focused entirely on the pulsing silver energy near his heart, and began the process of forcing his aura outward to shatter the closed gates.

Solomon closed his eyes and pushed his silver energy upward. He tried to route the spiritual power straight into his left shoulder. A jarring sting shot down his arm. He lost his focus and opened his eyes with a frustrated sigh.

"I cannot get it to budge," Solomon admitted. "I need better instructions."

Yue leaned forward and inspected his posture. "Can you move your aura freely through your open pathways?"

Solomon held up his right hand. He willed his internal energy outward, coating his bare knuckles in a bright silver glow. "I can do this without much effort."

"That is basic external projection," Yue explained, tapping her fan against her knee. "Unlocking a core is an internal siege. You have to move the aura directly to the closed gate of the shoulder core. Do not just strike it once. You must pool the energy there, fill the surrounding cavity until the pressure builds, and then force it open."

[1Fizzy: cultivation tutorial stream!]

[James_hayes: bro is speedrunning his cores.]

[Zoomtech: Yue is a great teacher.]

[Kaolafiedgamer: time to level up.]

Solomon closed his eyes again. He followed her exact advice, directing the silver aura up to his shoulder joint. He gathered the energy, letting the spiritual pool expand. The pressure grew intensely uncomfortable. He gritted his teeth and pushed harder.

Hours passed inside the rumbling carriage. Solomon kept his eyes shut, sweating as he battled his own body.

He finally felt a satisfying pop inside his left shoulder. A rush of fresh spiritual energy flooded his arm. He repeated the process on the right side, shattering the second gate shortly after.

He opened his eyes and stretched his arms, feeling noticeably more agile.

Yue stared at him in utter disbelief. "You unlocked both shoulder cores in a single afternoon. Most disciples take months to achieve that. Furthermore, you do not even look fatigued."

[MattMickyD: Solo Man breaking records again.]

[Foodball: bro literally has infinite stamina.]

[M00N: the cheat code strikes again.]

[Clayton: Yue is rethinking her whole life.]

Solomon grinned and decided to push his luck. He shifted his focus downward, attempting to route the silver aura into his hips to unlock the fourth and fifth cores. However, he quickly realized the lower pathways presented a much greater challenge.

The route to his shoulders was straightforward and close to his primary heart core. Reaching his hips required navigating a complex maze of unrefined meridians.

After struggling for several more hours, he opened his eyes and let out a defeated breath. The hip cores refused to yield.

"Nope..."

[Brerell: he finally hit a wall.]

[Tyler_Klare: pacing is important Solo Man.]

[2Lazy2Care: take a break dude.]

[Frendscham: cultivation takes time.]

Solomon leaned back against the plush cushions. A sudden, dangerous thought crossed his mind. He looked across the cabin at the pavilion master.

"What would happen if someone tried to pass their aura directly through their actual heart?" Solomon asked. "Not the spiritual core next to it, but the biological organ itself."

"To think that you would even think of this..." Yue frowned and gripped her jade fan. "That classifies as a forbidden art. The sect strictly prohibits any disciple from attempting it."

"If the sect bothered to make it forbidden, it must produce a very strong result," Solomon commented, leaning forward. "Why is it banned?"

"Passing aura through the physical heart is nearly impossible without mastering highly guarded, ancient techniques," Yue explained, her tone turning grim.

"Even if someone manages to do it, death is essentially guaranteed. The biological heart is not designed to channel spiritual energy. It forcefully converts the aura into pure life force. The process drains your stamina, soaks up your vitality, and burns through your lifespan until your body gives out. You die in agonizing pain."

[Nick: FORBIDDEN ARTS!]

[Fatal_Beauty: Solo Man is getting ideas.]

[Ken_Getchell: do not do it bro.]

[Draken Korin: that sounds terrifying.]

Solomon sat quietly. His mind raced as he connected the dots. He possessed the Convergence talent, granting him the Indefatigable passive ability. He never actually got tired until his stamina tax caught up to him, providing him with near-limitless physical energy.

Furthermore, he possessed the immortal heart of the angel Uriel beating inside his chest. The divine organ constantly healed his injuries, working alongside his stamina reserves.

He mapped out the theoretical loop. If he passed his aura through the angel’s heart, the resulting physical damage would heal instantly. The massive stamina drain would be fueled by his Indefatigable ability. By combining the two traits, he could theoretically generate the highest form of aura without any limits.

He could become an engine of infinite spiritual power.

[Alpha_char: look at his face. he is plotting.]

[Simon_Buhr: the mad scientist is at work.]

[Nolland: bro is going to try it.]

[PandoraLifeweaver: RIP Solo Man.]

Solomon closed his eyes and focused his mind. He drew a dense stream of silver aura from his primary core and tried to push it directly into the muscular tissue of his beating heart.

He failed instantly. There was no natural meridian pathway connecting the two. Whenever he tried to force a small tear to bridge the gap, the angel’s heart immediately healed the microscopic damage, sealing the route shut before the aura could enter.

Solomon refused to give up. He pooled a massive amount of silver energy, building the pressure just like he did with his shoulder cores. He violently rammed the aura against the biological wall of his heart, fighting his own divine healing factor.

After several brutal attempts, the barrier finally gave way. He successfully forced a fraction of the silver aura directly into the physical muscle of the angel’s heart.

The backlash was instantaneous and catastrophic.

His heart simply stopped beating. A wave of blinding pain paralyzed his entire body. Warm blood gushed rapidly from his mouth, nose and spilled out of his ears. His vision went completely black.

Solomon slumped forward and collapsed face-first onto the floorboards of the moving carriage.

[Blood Knight: A foolish gamble.]

[LazyCat: WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!]

[User12: HE IS BLEEDING!]

[GoonLord: BRO IS DEAD!]

[GamerGuy: SOMEONE HELP HIM!]

[NewbHunter: WAKE UP KING!]

[OldTimer: youth always rushes to the grave.]

Yue jumped out of her seat with a startled gasp. She dropped to her knees beside him, her hands trembling as she reached out to check his pulse.
