The more things changes, the blurrier the future he had seen.

And the closer he is to this event, the closer to the timeline, the more the memories become blurry.

Because that future, technically did not exist.

It is the only reason why there is no time paradox even after so many things had been done and even after there is other time travellers on Earth in this particular timeline.

Because....it is one thing to travel back into the past.

It is another thing entirely to come back to a past from a future that never existed.

Hence, Loki always refers to remnants like him....ghost.

it was true of Morgana.

It was true of Giselle.

Morgana and Giselle could be suppressed and deleted.

But not ghost like Erika.

Those ghost hides behind the Veil.

And they could not be considered ghost.

It is more like the echoes of the past ringing

Because Erika is connected by the Veil with all of the other clairvoyants. A Source of Time and Space. Borgan that Etherna connected all of these clairvoyants into one network.

As for those who could access this network, it depends on their own ability. If they have the ability, they could access this network and use it

If not, they are bound to it and used by it.

After all, everything has a price. And if you could not bear the price, then don’t take it and don’t use it

Some are like Erika, could see and dream the future.

Some painted the future without contexts. In some primitive magical world, these people would feel the urge to speak of the future or convey the future to those who they deemed....destined.

Some sings it, some write it, some draws it.

Some could control it and some is consumed by it. Hence, the Veil is different.

The Veil of time, space, destiny and fate. That kind of Veil is hidden. Hidden in thoughts and dreams

So, Erika is quite fortunate because of this. She did not have the limitations like him, or Giselle or Morgana.

Yet, she also had all the trauma. And even she could se things wrongs. Because things are not always the same.

Loki shakes his head

"Hmm, what else?" he mutters to himself.

Loki is trying to remember the key points of that war. One memory stand out in particular. The death of these Sovereigns and the damage of that war inflicted upon the entire galactic system

When these gods fights, mortals also suffers.

Only four Sovereigns left by the time the war ends. Loki plan was to incite the war. But not to finish the war the way it ended. He would find a way to try to make sure all seven are alive.

And if all seven are alive, then the odds of surviving the Final battle....would rise

Now, why he is remembering all of this, on a sandy white beaches while eating a papaya fruit?

Because he knows that future....that war might no longer happens the way it supposed to

And that is not always a good thing.

Before, only four survived.

Maybe this time more would survive. Or maybe this time, more would be dead.

This is the consequence of playing around with the past.

There is always a chance that things could go horribly wrong even if you make all the right choices.

Because sometimes right choices did not mean that the result would be good. Sometimes, right choices for one things, could lead to wrong choices for other things

And since there are sides, and there are people, and these people are gods, then the chance of things got out of hand is always there.

And Loki sighed

"Now, since I could not get Void, then maybe....I should find out what is happening in the Untainted Land" Loki is not that eager because he knows whatever schemes or plots or intrigue that is happening in the Untainted Land, it is hardly a problem for the world.

But since he already failed his initial task, then at least he should do something that would gain him some brownie points with the world power.

After all, if he wanted to track Void again, he still need their help

"Book of Secrets ability is neutered when it is about him" And Loki sighed as he opens his eyes and look at the skies.

The skies are now is surrounded by colours. Three colours and three faces in the sky

"These three really knows how to make an entrance" Loki smiles and then he turns into a dove and flies toward the sky.

And the sky is now in four colours.

As for the people of the Untainted Land, when they look up, they see the heavens is parted in four sides.

And there is four faces in the sky. It did not speak, and their eyes seems closed. But every mortal could feel it

These faces in the sky is looking at them

And then thunder sounded all over.

And all over the worlds, the mortal kingdom reported this matter and some prostrated to the ground and pray to the skies

Azief woke up and look around him

"Something is wrong" and he narrows his eyes. This feeling strikes him at his core. He felt something is wrong

He sighed and shakes his head. Then he waves his hand and the sphere slowly opens and then in front of him is the darkness of the abyss

He has been in this sphere for quite some time.

"I guess this is enough juice" he smiles bitterly and shook his head

"in the end, even if I suck all of the energy in the mines of all over the world, it would still not be enough. This is enough so that I could withstand the initial strike" he thought to himself.

He had done all that he could think of. And now that he did, he is calm.

Whatever happens next...he had done his best.

And now to test his hypothesis. He believe he would succeed but there is always a chance that he would fail.

And if he does fail, he did have some backup plans that he had left in Arturia. If he is dead, his message would reach Sofia, Katarina, Sina, Loki and even Raymond and the others

He had think all of this and he had prepared everything. If he succeeds, then that message would simply self-destruct after a few months.

Now that he is out of the sphere, there is no explosion of energy. There is no sudden waves of power undulating. It was almost like nothing had happened

But something did happened. And Azief floated down to the ground. And then he takes a deep breath

Only he knows how much energy he had right now in his body. He had absorbed all of the energy mines connected to that chair.

It is a sphere but there is a chair inside it connected to the energy mines all over Pandemonium

But now, those energy mines are drained of energy.

But even then, it is not enough.

Of course, Azief knows that to breakthrough to Sovereign, a world energy is never enough.

It is supplemented with the energy in this entire Universe and other dimensions.

The Omniverse at large. Even if he drains all of the energy in pandemonium and all the seas this is not enough to finish his transformation.

Azief close his eyes for a second and then he nodded to himself.

He walks out the area of the sphere and then once again greeted by darkness.

Swoosh!

He waves his hand and fire lighted up and all of the monsters and beast that is waiting for him scattered away.

"A day or more" he estimated.

Then he takes another step and he arrives back at the entrance from where he landed. And he slowly floats up and then as he pulls the air with his finger he accelerated up

Swoosh!

and in just a few second, he arrives at the top and landed back on the cavern

He then teleported himself back to the office.

The moment he arrives at the office, he notices something. It is hard not to notice. He hear the sound of explosion and feel the shaking of the Earth.

Azief walk toward the balcony and look in the distance. No, he did not even really need to look at the distance.

Even from his position right now, he could see it

"They are already besieging the palace" Azief look outside the window and he could see the soldier is already fighting in the vicinity of the palace. Fireballs, ice spike, vines all kinds of elemental attack and energy waves is blasting all over the palace

"my premonition is right" Azief actually could stay in that sphere for a longer time. Maybe in that time, he would have new ideas. But a premonition wake him up. There is no vision and there is no glimpses of the future. This was just a premonition of something bad is about to happen.

And so, he woke up. And now seeing what is happening right now, he nodded to himself

"It is not too late"

’I don’t know hat will happen but if my premonition is warning it, things that might happened might be something bad"

Azief was thinking that he should call Lukas and tell him to send his decree but then he stopped. Right now, that palace Keeper of him is not in the Palace

A simple scan of Divine Sense already revealed he is not here. And if he is not here, that means he must be hiding himself.

After all Sasha and Wang Jian probably want him because of all the secrets he possess. Azief sighed

"This journey is a journey I must walk alone"
