Chapter 1801 - 1334: I’m Even Willing to Help You Build a Harem

"Witch..."

"Hmm?" Ash, who was savoring the strawberry on top of a cake, blinked and saw Sonia trying to regain her focus with a dreamy look in her eyes.

"Should we call the witches in?" Sonia asked softly.

"Why call them in?"

"Aren’t we all gathering tonight?"

"They didn’t come in with us," Ash said. "Let’s just accept their kind gesture without any guilt."

"But the witches would surely want to come in. Look at how much they were looking forward to tonight. Vishi was left in a bind by you at noon, and Weiser hasn’t rested for days, working on constructing the Heavenly Kingdom..." Sonia said. "You should also consider their feelings."

"I will make it up to them," Ash said. "Tonight is your turn, and I occasionally want to enjoy a world of just us two."

Sonia shook her head. "That’s fine, but unnecessary. We’re always together anyway; that mode of interaction makes us happiest."

"Something’s not right," Ash tilted his head. "Sword Maiden, why do you insist on involving the witches? Don’t tell me... you only enjoy it when someone’s watching!? That’s so perverse, I love it!"

"Not as perverse as you!" Sonia retorted irritably. "I just think... things should be fair."

Ash blinked, suddenly leaned in close to Sonia, pressing his forehead against hers.

"Oh, I see, you’re running a fever." Ash had a solemn expression on his face. "No wonder your brain isn’t functioning properly."

"Have you ever heard of the Six-winged God getting a fever?!" Sonia’s mouth twitched. "I’m not saying anything bad; you clearly can make everyone happy, so you shouldn’t play favorites... Don’t you want everyone to be happy?"

"I do want fairness, and I want everyone to be happy," Ash laughed. "But that’s my business. Why are you minding it for me?"

"Tonight, I just want to show favoritism, want to make you happy." With a swipe of his finger, he turned off all the lights in the room and giggled, "I must make you so happy you meow."

In the pitch darkness where one can’t even see their hand, Sonia felt completely enveloped in warmth. She felt immensely reassured, her brain unwilling to work anymore, only letting out a soft nasal hum.

"No wonder you seemed off all day today; turns out you have a fever."

"I told you, I don’t have a fever." She lazily retorted.

"You clearly do," Ash snorted. "You’ve been deliberately ignoring me all day just to savor the abstinence now? I’ve seen right through you! I’ll make you meow later!"

Sonia was speechless: "Generally, in this situation, you should call it indifference rather than abstinence, right? Aren’t you just a bit... too confident?"

"A year ago, I would’ve thought you were indifferent; half a year ago, I would’ve doubted you were indifferent; three months ago, I might’ve guessed you were indifferent," Ash’s voice was light-hearted. "But now, even if you say you hate me most, I’d only think you’re being coy. I may have doubts that arrows miss their mark or sunlight deviates from the sun, but I would never doubt whether you love me deeply."

"You’re scared, aren’t you? You can’t escape from me now; I’m the Supreme of Magic, destined to entangle with you till the end!"

Sonia tightly clutched Ash’s back in the darkness, biting her lip softly, her eyes welling with moisture, she said in a tender and resolute voice, "I hate you the most."

"But you can’t get rid of me either." As if singing, her voice was intoxicating and alluring, "I’ll tangle with you forever."

Ash chuckled, "Now that’s what I call sweet talk."

"There’s something even sweeter." Sonia extended her small lilac tongue, gently licking Ash’s earlobe.

"Meow."

...

...

Slap.

After being kicked off the bed for the third time, Ash finally woke up, thinking Sword Maiden has a temper when waking up. Yet, he refused to open his eyes, climbed back into bed, and hugged her, mumbling, "Let’s sleep a little longer."

"Okay~"

After three minutes, Ash suddenly opened his eyes, feeling something amiss. He looked down and didn’t see the blood-red hair as vivid as blood, but instead saw a head of snow-white hair. The petite girl in bunny pajamas was curled up in his arms, seemingly dreaming of something delicious, even smacking her lips.

It’s the Witch!

And it’s the Witch in her little-girl form!

"Witch?" Ash froze and shook her, "What are you doing here?"

"Huh?" Liss rubbed her eyes, looking bewildered, "Daddy?"

Ash was struck as if by lightning, rolling off the bed in terror. His voice trembled, "Liss, let Diya speak."

"Coming, coming." Diya sat up, stretched lazily, and asked sleepily, "Is it lunchtime yet?"

"When did you come to Sword Maiden’s room?"

"Huh?" Diya was equally confused, "Isn’t this my room?"

Wasn’t the Witch the one who came here?

Ash immediately breathed a sigh of relief; he had thought the witch stealthily sneaked in last night to launch the Witch’s Paradise, pulling a "when did you come under the illusion that you’re not in the Witch’s Paradise." Though the Witch’s Paradise was no big deal, Ash’s limit of acceptance was the Witch in maiden form, and Liss had to be shielded. Seeing the child form of Liss first thing in the morning scared him senseless.

But since it wasn’t the witch herself who came...

Ash’s expression grew ever more peculiar, and Diya finally fully awoke: "Huh? Ash, why are you on my bed?"
