His body was enveloped in brilliant Light Element mana, and his spear was already raised in his hand, ready to strike directly at Dominique’s chest.

The blood spikes that had attacked Steve then lost their shape and turned back into ordinary blood. They immediately flew back toward Ravena and were absorbed into her body.

Steve’s expression became slightly more serious after seeing that.

Suddenly, he sensed another attack coming from behind him.

Without even turning around, Steve immediately moved to the side.

A large serpent made entirely of blood passed through the space where he had been standing a moment ago. The blood serpent continued forward for a short distance before turning around and flying back toward Ravena.

Ravena absorbed the blood into her body, and some of the color gradually returned to her previously pale skin.

After absorbing the blood, Ravena muttered in satisfaction, "As expected, the blood of Master-rank humans is far better than that of Gold-rank humans."

The blood serpent had been created from the blood of the Master-rank guards who had been killed earlier by the Shadow Demon. Ravena had simply manipulated and collected their blood after sensing that they had been killed, and she was now using it to replenish herself.

Steve looked toward the corpses of the Master-rank guards.

Their bodies had been completely drained of blood, leaving them unnaturally pale and dried out.

Steve’s expression darkened as he understood what Ravena had done.

Ravena then looked toward Dominique before turning her attention back toward Steve.

"Go and kill those humans while I take care of this one."

Dominique nodded.

Her body vanished and instead several phantom figures immediately emerged from her body and began moving toward the Master-rank guards.

Steve reacted immediately.

He raised his spear, and several spears made of concentrated Light Element mana appeared around him before shooting toward the approaching phantom figures.

However, before the light spears could reach them, several blood attacks suddenly moved across their path.

Ravena manipulated the blood with precise control, intercepting Steve’s attacks and preventing them from reaching Dominique’s phantoms.

The light spears collided with the blood.

A burst of intense heat spread through the area as the Light Element mana began boiling the blood away.

Although the blood was destroyed by the light, Ravena had successfully stopped Steve’s attack.

Steve looked toward Ravena with an increasingly serious expression.

He now understood that as long as Ravena remained focused on him, stopping Dominique from reaching the Master-rank guards would not be easy.

And Ravena, after seeing her blood being destroyed, simply smiled faintly as more blood began gathering around her body.

Steve looked back one last time at the phantoms that were approaching the Master-rank guards.

’Where is Klein? Why hasn’t he returned by now?’ Steve cursed inwardly, his expression becoming slightly more serious.

He then decided that he couldn’t afford to wait any longer.

Steve summoned a piece of equipment, and in an instant, a golden full-body armor appeared around him, covering his entire body from head to toe.

He immediately began channeling his Light Element mana into the armor.

The moment the mana entered it, the golden armor started glowing brightly, and powerful streams of light began flowing across its surface.

The aura surrounding Steve also grew stronger as the armor responded to his mana, reinforcing his body and preparing him for the battle against Ravena.

Steve moved instantly, vanishing from his position before appearing directly behind Ravena. Without giving her any time to react, he thrust his spear toward her back.

However, the moment the spear made contact, Ravena’s body suddenly turned into blood.

Steve’s expression changed slightly.

It was only a Blood Clone.

Her real body was somewhere else.

Before Steve could locate her, he suddenly sensed an attack coming from behind him. He immediately tried to move away, but his movement was suddenly restricted.

Several thick shackles made entirely of blood had wrapped around his legs, holding him firmly in place.

Steve tried to break free, but he was already too late.

A sharp blood spike shot toward his back and struck him with tremendous force.

The impact pushed Steve forward, but the spike failed to pierce through his golden armor. The armor absorbed most of the force, leaving only a powerful impact against his body.

Steve immediately reacted.

He released a massive amount of Light Element mana from his entire body, creating a powerful explosion of light around him.

The burst instantly destroyed the blood shackles around his legs.

At the same time, the intense heat generated by the Light Element began boiling away the blood surrounding him, preventing Ravena from simply reclaiming it and absorbing it back into her body.

Steve landed firmly on the ground and looked around cautiously.

Ravena’s Blood Clone had already disappeared, and the remaining blood was slowly evaporating under the influence of his Light Element mana.

Before Steve could even look around and locate Ravena, two giant hands made entirely of blood were already upon him, attempting to grab him and crush him. At the same time, more blood chains suddenly erupted from the floor, rapidly moving toward his legs to bind him again.

But Steve reacted faster.
