Maybe I really am a Villian

Chapter 223: Unexpected Guest 1

The massive wall of blood stretched across a huge portion of the Domain, blocking their vision as it moved forward. Its size was so enormous that there was almost no way to determine where it ended, and the pressure coming from it continued increasing with every passing moment.

As the wave moved closer toward them, the blood suddenly began changing its shape. Sharp weapons started forming throughout the enormous wave, while countless serpents made entirely of blood emerged from its surface.

The weapons and blood serpents moved together with the massive wave, covering the entire sky above them. In the next moment, countless blood weapons began raining down toward Klein, Alan, and Alex at frightening speed.

There was almost nowhere they could escape.

Asher’s vessels immediately teleported away from Klein, Alan, and Alex. They reappeared near Ravena, where Asher’s human vessel was already standing.

Asher’s human vessel looked toward the enormous wave of blood and the countless weapons moving within it. He then glanced toward Ravena.

Ravena was controlling the entire attack with her full concentration. Her expression was serious, and visible strain could be seen on her face. Her body had also become noticeably paler as she continued pouring her mana into the attack.

Asher looked at the approaching wave for a moment before saying, "That’s quite a good attack. It’s almost impossible to dodge or defend against."

Ravena didn’t reply.

She simply continued focusing on her attack, controlling the enormous amount of blood with everything she had.

Meanwhile, Klein, Alan, and Alex looked toward the countless blood weapons raining down toward them.

Their expressions gradually turned desperate.

There were simply too many projectiles.

Even if they defended against some of them, there were still countless others following immediately behind. There was no realistic way for the three of them to completely block an attack of this scale.

Alex looked toward the approaching wave and quietly muttered, "So... no one is coming to save us? Is this how we die?"

Alan remained silent for a moment before looking toward the countless attacks approaching them.

Then he replied in a calm but tired voice, "It seems so... unless some miracle happens."

Alan had barely finished speaking when the first blood projectile finally reached them.

The three Grandmasters immediately reacted.

They used every defensive ability they still had, trying to block, deflect, or destroy the incoming weapons. Light Element mana, physical attacks, and barriers were all used at the same time.

But the projectiles kept coming.

One after another, countless blood weapons continued raining down from above, leaving them almost no time to breathe.

The three Grandmasters were gradually submerged beneath the endless storm of blood weapons.

Then, the massive wave finally reached them.

The enormous wall of blood crashed into the three of them with tremendous force, completely swallowing their bodies and pushing them deep into the blood ocean beneath them.

For a moment, their figures completely disappeared beneath the endless sea of blood.

The blood ocean gradually became calm again, its violent waves slowly settling until the surface was almost completely tranquil. The enormous disturbance from the previous attack had disappeared, leaving only small ripples spreading across the endless sea of blood.

Asher looked toward the silent ocean for a moment, carefully observing the surface before turning his attention toward Ravena. His expression remained calm, as if he wasn’t particularly concerned about what had happened beneath the blood.

He then asked calmly, "Are they dead, or are they still alive?"

Ravena didn’t answer immediately. Her attention remained fixed on the blood ocean, as if she was trying to sense what was happening beneath the surface of her Domain.

Suddenly, the blood ocean beneath them began to tremble violently.

The previously calm surface started bubbling, and powerful waves began spreading outward from a single point. A tremendous force was rising from deep beneath the blood ocean, causing the entire Domain to shake slightly.

Ravena’s expression immediately changed.

She quickly realized what was happening.

The three Grandmasters had detonated their mana cores just before they were about to die.

Three enormous explosions of Light Element mana erupted from beneath the blood ocean. The explosions were powerful enough to illuminate the entire surroundings as they rapidly moved toward the surface, carrying an enormous amount of destructive energy with them.

Ravena immediately moved away from Asher’s vessel.

At the same time, she surrounded herself with a thick barrier made entirely of blood, forming a powerful protective shield around her body. Layer after layer of blood gathered around her, reinforcing the barrier as the explosions continued approaching from below.

Asher’s vessels, however, were left completely outside the protection of her barrier.

Ravena wasn’t simply protecting herself from the explosions.

She also used the laws of her Domain to restrict the surrounding space, making sure that Asher’s vessels couldn’t freely use their spatial abilities to escape the approaching destruction.

The spatial laws around them became increasingly restrictive, preventing easy teleportation and making the vessels’ movements much more difficult.

Asher’s vessel looked toward Ravena, who had already disappeared behind the massive blood barrier.

The vessel remained completely exposed to the approaching explosions, with no protection between itself and the tremendous force rising from beneath the blood ocean.

Asher’s vessel remained calm even in that situation.

After watching Ravena’s actions for a moment, he understood exactly what she had done.

He simply looked toward the blood barrier and said calmly,

"She’s smart."

Asher then looked toward the approaching explosion and said calmly, "As expected of a Grandmaster’s self-detonation, it’s quite strong." He paused for a moment before turning his attention toward the direction where Ravena was hiding behind her blood barrier.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

He then continued, laughing softly, "Didn’t I already tell her that I’m A Coward ?"

The enormous explosion finally reached Asher’s vessels after destroying everything in its path.

The moment the destructive wave reached them, the surrounding space was completely swallowed by the intense Light Element mana. The explosion continued spreading through the blood ocean, destroying everything it encountered and leaving nothing behind.
