Cassie looked at the two mana giants as they raised their swords. Both of them then slashed their swords at the same time.

The swords didn’t touch Solarius. But they didn’t need to.

The next second, Solarius was suddenly cut into three pieces, even though Edward hadn’t done anything himself.

Solarius’s body had been cut apart, but no real injury happened to him. His gigantic body of light simply regenerated again, returning to its original form as if nothing had happened.

Solarius then moved his hand toward Edward.

But his hand never reached Edward.

No matter how much Solarius tried, the distance between them refused to close. It was as if there were a hundred kilometers between Solarius and Edward, even though they were standing only around a hundred meters apart.

Then, suddenly, Solarius’s gigantic figure began becoming smaller and smaller. His body continued shrinking until he was reduced to roughly the size of a dog.

Solarius looked upward toward Edward.

Edward was still in his normal human form, but from Solarius’s current perspective, he seemed like a giant standing before him.

Solarius’s expression became even more angry.’He is playing with me.’

Edward wasn’t even looking at Solarius anymore.

He was looking around the surroundings, seemingly trying to understand something about the destroyed facility.

Solarius then decided to stop holding back.He tried to explode his entire body and create a large explosion that would cover the surrounding area.

BOOM!

A massive explosion suddenly erupted around Solarius.

Yet nothing happened to Edward.

The explosion never reached him.

Because, the explosion had never existed beyond a small radius around Solarius. The destructive force simply stopped on its own before it could reach Edward.

Cassie looked at this with a gaze filled with disbelief as well as fear.

’As expected, he won.’

’But still... this easily?’

’I knew Solarius wouldn’t be able to do anything to him the moment Solarius changed into his Giant form and no heat affected the surrounding, Edward had already trapped the Solarius in his Domain from them . And now not even the heat from the explosion affected the surroundings.’

It was all due to Edward domain effect that he used on Solarius the moment he punched the Solarius.

Cassie knew that his Domain is strong ’But still... Solrois is not that weak instead he is stronger then most immortal rank but still he wasn’t even able to touch Edward.’

Cassie’s gaze then moved downward toward Solarius. He was now only the size of a dog and was desperately trying to move away.

But no matter how much he moved, he never actually moved away.He kept moving forward, yet somehow remained in the exact same place.

Cassie’s expression became increasingly serious.

’His Domain... Void Prison has become even stronger.’

Void Prison was Edward’s Domain.

Within Void Prison, Edward was able to completely control the space inside it. He could separate a being from the natural space and trap them inside a separate space where the space itself was governed by Edward.

The only way to escape this Domain was to be stronger than Edward and destroy the Domain itself.

Another way was to possess a stronger Domain and overlap it with Edward’s Domain, weakening his control over the surrounding space.

But that was impossible for Solarius.

There was simply too large a difference between them.

’The Spatial Element is the best for a one-versus-one fight.’

And the person they were talking about wasn’t just some ordinary Spatial Element user.

He was the strongest Spatial Element user in the entire world. There was no way for Solarius to win in the first place.

Cassie remained silent for a moment, still looking at Edward with a nervous expression. She wasn’t sure how she should approach him, especially after witnessing how easily he had dealt with Solarius.

After gathering her courage, she finally asked in a nervous tone, "Edward, why are you here? And what do you mean by the information you got?"

Edward slowly turned his gaze toward Cassie.

His expression remained calm, but there was no warmth in his eyes.

Then he said, "It’s Duke Astrean for you, Saintness Cassie, not Edward. So don’t mention my name casually again as if we are friends."

Edward’s tone was calm, almost emotionless.

However, Cassie immediately felt how cold his words were.

She understood that he wasn’t simply correcting her. He was reminding her of the difference between their positions and making it clear that he didn’t consider them close enough for her to address him so casually.

Cassie lowered her head and bowed slightly.

Then she said in a respectful and apologetic tone, "Sorry. I will keep that in mind, Duke Astrean."

Edward simply nodded.

He then said in a calm tone, "Some demons attacked the public in my territory. There is also a video of the incident that is going viral on the internet right now."

He paused briefly before continuing, "That video also contained the location of this place. So, to check if the information was really true, I simply came here to take a look for myself."

Edward looked around at the destroyed remains of the facility.

The destruction was still clearly visible everywhere, and the traces of the previous battle had not completely disappeared.

He then paused for another moment before saying, "And I guess that video was telling the truth after all. Those demons really did escape from here."

Edward slowly turned his head toward Solarius.

Solarius was still trapped inside Void Prison, unable to properly move away or approach Edward. His expression was filled with anger and frustration, but he couldn’t do much under Edward’s control.

Edward looked at him for a moment before calmly saying, "And the man responsible for all of this is him, if I’m not wrong."

Cassie didn’t say anything. She simply remained silent.

Her gaze moved between Edward and Solarius as she tried to understand what would happen next. But there was also one more question in her mind.

’Why is he doing all this?’

That question wasn’t directed toward Edward or Solarius.

It was directed toward Asher, the person who was ultimately responsible for whatever had happened in Edward’s territory.

Cassie was sure about that.

Edward then made the two mana giants surrounding him dissolve.

They had only been there for show in the first place. Edward had never actually needed them to fight, because Solarius was simply too weak compared to him.

The mana giants gradually disappeared, leaving Edward standing there alone.

Edward then deactivated his Void Prison.

The spatial pressure that had been restricting Solarius immediately disappeared.

Solarius was finally free again.

As soon as he was released from Void Prison, his gigantic form of light disappeared, and he immediately returned to his normal human form.

He stood there silently for a moment, his expression still filled with anger and humiliation. But he didn’t dare attack because he knew it would be futile.

Edward didn’t seem to care about his expression.

He simply looked at Solarius and then spoke in a calm and cold tone."Solarius, what is the meaning of this?"

He paused for a moment before continuing, "I don’t care what you do with the demons as long as it doesn’t affect me."

"But you couldn’t even clear up your own mess and let the demon escape from here and let them enter other’s territories."

Edward looked at Solarius with a cold gaze.

"Just how useless can you be?"

Solarius couldn’t listen to it any longer. The anger that had been building inside him finally erupted, and his calm expression disappeared, replaced by pure fury as he stared at Edward. "How can you say that it was actually me? What proof do you have that it was me? And how dare you even humiliate me like this? Just because some demons caused trouble in your territory and you think it’s my fault doesn’t mean you can simply punch me! I am one of the Cardinals of the Church!"

Edward looked at Solarius for a moment. He didn’t answer. He simply raised his fist and punched Solarius again. Solarius was caught off guard once more. The punch landed before he could properly react, sending his body backward. His face immediately twisted with fury. "Edward, don’t push your luck any further, or I will make sure not a single person from your family survi—"

Before Solarius could finish speaking, Edward suddenly appeared in front of him and grabbed him by the throat with one hand, completely stopping his movement. Solarius desperately tried to struggle, but Edward’s control over space made it impossible for him to escape. Edward raised his other hand, and mana began gathering around his palm. The mana rapidly condensed into a dense sphere of energy.

Without saying anything, Edward struck Solarius’s left shoulder with the sphere. The concentrated attack destroyed Solarius’s entire left shoulder.

Solarius screamed in pain and desperately tried to move his body, but Edward’s spatial control kept him completely restrained. No matter how much strength Solarius used, he couldn’t break free from Edward’s grasp. Edward calmly looked at him before finally speaking in his usual calm and cold tone. "Well, it does have something to do with me."

"The demon that you let escape is the same demon that I defeated and left to you to finish." Edward paused for a moment before continuing. "Since you said I needed to provide reinforcement somewhere else, I left her to you. And later, you told me that you had finished her off."

His gaze remained fixed on Solarius as his expression became colder. "But now, after ten years, that demon’s clone attacks my territory."

Edward looked directly into Solarius’s eyes. "So tell me, doesn’t that have something to do with me?"
