As Solarius heard those words, his expression changed to confusion. He looked at Edward for a moment, clearly unable to understand what he was talking about.

After a brief pause, he finally asked in a confused tone, "What do you mean by that? Whom are you talking about? Isn’t it just some low-ranking demons who entered your territory?"

Edward’s expression remained calm.

However, his grip around Solarius’s throat tightened slightly, causing Solarius to struggle even more. Solarius tried to free himself, but Edward’s control over space continued to keep his body completely restrained.

Edward then looked directly at him and finally answered.

"I am talking about Ravena Mortalis. Or who else do you think I am talking about?"

Edward’s voice remained calm, but there was a clear hint of annoyance in his words.

"Do you even know how difficult it was to defeat her? And instead of killing her, which was what you were supposed to do, you trapped her here. Yet you couldn’t even keep her imprisoned inside this facility."

Edward’s eyes became colder.

"And now she is running free again. Not only that, she has already attacked my territory. She might even try to attack me again in the future."

"And if she manages to break through to Immortal rank, she will become an even bigger problem."

Edward paused briefly before continuing.

"Do you understand what that means, Solarius? You allowed someone like Ravena Mortalis to escape."

"And if she reaches Immortal rank, she will no longer be the same weakened demon you once trapped here."

As Solarius heard this, his expression slowly changed.

Confusion, surprise, and disbelief appeared on his face at the same time. Until this moment, he had assumed that the demons who escaped from the facility were nothing more than low-ranking demons.

He had thought that while Cassie was busy fighting Ravena and dealing with the other high-ranking demons, some weaker demons must have managed to escape and eventually entered the territory of a Noble.

But never in his wildest dreams had he imagined that Ravena Mortalis herself had escaped.

Even more unbelievable was the fact that Cassie had failed to stop her, despite Ravena being in a weakened state at the time.

Solarius slowly turned his head toward Cassie, intending to question her about what had happened.

But before he could say anything, Edward suddenly moved his other arm toward Solarius’s shoulder.

Solarius’s eyes widened.

He instantly tried to move away, but once again, his body refused to respond. No matter how much strength he used, he couldn’t move even an inch from Edward’s grasp.

’Just why is this madman doing this to me? Isn’t he afraid of the consequences of his actions? What happened to him today?’

Before Solarius could think any further, Edward suddenly reached toward his shoulder and forcefully dug out a piece of bone.

"AAAH!"

A loud cry of pain escaped from Solarius’s mouth.

Edward completely ignored his scream.

His expression remained calm, almost as if nothing had happened. However, there was a slight hint of amusement in his eyes.

It was almost as if he was enjoying torturing Solarius.

And judging by the faint smile on his face, he actually was.

Solarius desperately tried to heal his injury using his mana, but the wound refused to recover.

The reason was simple. The one who had attacked him was Edward Astrean.

Edward was an Immortal-rank being, just like Solarius, and the difference between their abilities was enough for Edward to seriously injure another Immortal.

If Edward truly wanted to kill Solarius, he could do so without much difficulty. However, Edward had no intention of killing him.

’Killing him like this wouldn’t be fun.’

That thought crossed Edward’s mind as he looked at Solarius.

After a moment, Edward finally released his grip around Solarius’s throat.

Solarius immediately took a deep breath as he regained control over his body.

Edward then casually gestured toward him, silently telling him to explain himself.

Solarius looked at Edward’s hand.

The bone that Edward had just removed from his shoulder was still in his hand.

Solarius’s expression became slightly uneasy as several thoughts immediately appeared in his mind.

’What is he planning to do with my bone? Is he going to cast some kind of curse on me later? He wouldn’t dare to cast a curse on me... right?’

Solarius quickly pushed those thoughts out of his mind.

He didn’t want to think about what Edward might do with the bone.

Instead, he turned his attention toward Cassie.

Cassie was standing nearby, watching the entire situation calmly.

There was no sympathy in her expression.

In fact, Solarius was almost certain that there was a faint sense of satisfaction in her eyes, as if she was secretly happy that Edward was doing this to him.

Solarius couldn’t help but feel even more irritated.

He looked directly at Cassie and spoke in a slightly raised voice.

"What is the meaning of this? Didn’t you kill Ravena Mortalis?"

Cassie’s expression remained calm.

Solarius waited for her answer, but deep down, he was already beginning to realize that something about the situation was seriously wrong.

If Ravena Mortalis had truly escaped after ten years, then everything that had happened today was far more complicated than he had initially believed.

Cassie looked at Solarius for a moment before slowly turning her gaze toward Edward. She studied him carefully, but there was no noticeable change in his expression. There was no anger, hostility, or animosity toward her. ’So he doesn’t know about what happened with Selena,’ Cassie thought inwardly, quietly sighing in relief that Edward didn’t seem to know anything.

Cassie then turned her attention back toward Solarius and calmly said, "She escaped before I could catch her." The moment Solarius heard those words, his expression immediately changed. His anger resurfaced, and he lashed out in a furious tone, not even allowing Cassie to finish explaining herself. "Then why didn’t you go after her and catch her—"

Before Solarius could continue,.
