Right now, Asher could never kill him. The difference between their ranks was simply too great. But if Asher somehow reached even the Grandmaster Rank, things would become completely different. At that point, killing him would probably be far easier for Asher.
Solarius didn’t tell anyone about this.
He couldn’t afford to show any weakness, especially after the little bit of reputation he still had left. If he openly admitted that Asher’s attack had managed to injure his spirit, the others might start looking at him differently.
And when he eventually had to report everything to his father, he wanted to have at least something to show for himself.
Now he had killed the culprits or atleast one body of the culprit behind the incident, then perhaps his father would be slightly less angry with him.
But honestly, Solarius hardly thought his father was even going to care much about these incidents with reputation of Church anymore.
After all, there was now someone who had openly announced war on the entire Continent.
Compared to that, everything else suddenly seemed much less important.
Aurelius looked at everyone and then said,
"So, what are we supposed to do now? We have nothing to track him with. Or does anyone have a way to track him?"
As he said this, he looked towards Solarius and Cassie, since both of them were the most proficient in divination and predicting the future among them.
Solarius replied calmly,
"We already tried doing divination on him during the assassination incident, but it always showed nothing except darkness. I will tell our diviners to try again, but I hardly think we will get any useful results."
After hearing this, everyone looked towards Cassie.
Aurelius also turned towards her and said,
"What about you, Saintness? You must at least have something useful that you could share with us."
Cassie replied calmly,
"I don’t know anything more than that. Everything he is planning to do will happen within the next two months. I’m not sure exactly when, though. It depends on him."
Aurelius made a slightly disappointed expression before sighing.
"That’s bad. So, the only thing we can do now is wait for him to make his next move?"
No one said anything.
There was nothing else they could suggest. They had no way of finding Asher when they didn’t even know anything about him before this. He had been living normally among ordinary people, hiding his existence completely. The only reason they knew about him now was because he had deliberately revealed himself.
Aurelius remained silent for a moment before speaking again.
"So, no other suggestions? I see. Then we can only find out about his whereabouts when he tries to break through the Grandmaster Rank. Only then will we be able to locate him properly."
He looked at everyone before continuing,
"For now, we should simply report everything to the Saints Rank and let them decide what to do. They will know much better than us how we should handle this situation."
No one objected.
Aurelius nodded and continued,
"So, Solarius, you can report everything about this to your father, and I will report everything to my grandfather. Then they can discuss the situation further. After they give us their orders, we will have another meeting about this."
He paused for a moment and looked around.
"Does anyone still have any suggestions that you would like to share? If there is anything else, tell me now, and I will make sure to share it with the Saints."
No one said anything.
Seeing this, Aurelius finally nodded.
"So, everyone can return for now. We will meet again once we have more information. Until then, goodbye, everyone."
He then turned towards Edward.
"Edward, could you please remove the restriction on space now? We also have to leave. Why have you still kept it active anyway?"
Aurelius looked at Edward for a moment and noticed that he seemed to be thinking about something.
"You seem to be thinking about something. What is it?"
Edward finally came out of his thoughts.
Without saying anything else, he deactivated the restriction he had placed on the surrounding space. The strange pressure that had been covering the area immediately disappeared, and the surrounding space returned to normal.
Edward then turned towards Solarius and calmly said,
"Nothing. A dog was already being annoying, and now a mosquito has also decided to create some trouble for me. That’s all."
After saying this, Edward became silent again.
Everyone understood exactly whom he was calling a dog and whom he was calling a mosquito, but no one said anything about it.
Even the "dog" himself didn’t react to Edward’s words.
Aurelius simply laughed.
"As expected, you aren’t even afraid of him. Instead, you were just thinking about the mosquito."
He smiled and continued,
"Don’t worry. That mosquito will die soon. I hope you will continue protecting the Southern part just as you have done until now."
After saying this, Aurelius turned towards Lucas.
"Lucas, try to find his other vessels if you can."
Lucas nodded seriously.
"Don’t worry. I will try my best."
Aurelius then looked at everyone again.
"So, now let’s leave and return to our work."
He turned towards Solarius and gave him an amused look.
"You are lucky that you don’t have to worry too much about this Demon incident anymore. We have something much more important to deal with right now. You really are blessed by the Gods, I guess."
And after saying this, the group that had come with Aurelius instantly teleported away. A moment later, Draven’s group also teleported away, leaving only Lucas, Edward, Solarius, Cassie, Audrey, and one Grandmaster Rank guard behind.
Lucas looked towards Edward and was about to say something, but Edward immediately interjected,
"Later, Lucas. I have something important to think about right now."
After saying this, Edward instantly teleported away without giving Lucas a chance to say anything else.
Lucas watched the place where Edward had disappeared for a moment before remaining silent.
