Aurelius looked at Asher and then glanced at everyone around him before speaking in an amused tone, "So, who wants to kill the one standing in front of us?"

No one said anything. Not a single person answered him. The atmosphere remained silent for a moment, with everyone simply looking at Asher. Before Aurelius could say anything else, Solarius suddenly moved from his position without saying a single word.

In the next instant, he appeared behind Asher’s vessel in a flash. A powerful blast of light mana erupted from Solarius’s hand and struck Asher’s entire body, covering him in brilliant light. The force of the attack was powerful enough to burn through his body.

However, Asher’s vessel wasn’t destroyed instantly. Even though it was an attack from an Immortal Rank, Asher wasn’t resisting because he was incapable of defending himself. He simply wasn’t trying to defend himself at all. He didn’t even attempt to dodge and remained standing in the exact same place without moving a single inch.

His body began burning slowly. Yet Asher didn’t show a single emotion. There was no fear on his face, no anger, and not even a hint of pain. He simply stood there as if the attack happening to him had nothing to do with him.

Everyone looked towards Solarius with slight disgust. Only Aurelius had an amused smile on his face. He understood exactly what Solarius was doing. Solarius wasn’t trying to kill Asher immediately. He was deliberately taking his time, wanting to make Asher suffer as much as possible before finally destroying his vessel.

Asher’s body was already half burned, while the armor made from mana and the strange black fog surrounding him had already been completely destroyed. Solarius looked at Asher’s damaged body with an amused smile before speaking. "This is for causing such a mess for me and constantly coming in my way. And just like this, I will also kill your other bodies. Don’t think I am afraid of you."

His smile became wider. "I don’t care who you are. I will make sure you understand the price of messing with me." Solarius looked at Asher for a moment before continuing, "So, how are you feeling? Does it feel good to feel your body slowly burning?"

Asher’s face was now mostly burned, leaving very little of his original appearance recognizable. Yet even in that state, his expression remained completely calm. He looked at Solarius and simply sighed. "Sigh... This is what you call pain?" Asher’s tone was almost disappointed. "But it is futile against me."

He paused for a moment before calmly continuing, "You should have killed me from long range instead of getting this close." A faint smile appeared on his face. "It’s dangerous." As soon as those words left his mouth, Solarius suddenly felt something pierce through his stomach.

His expression changed instantly. He didn’t even have enough time to properly understand what had happened before he immediately increased the intensity of his spell. The overwhelming light mana erupted again, and in the next instant, Asher’s vessel was completely destroyed. The body disappeared under the powerful attack, leaving nothing behind.

Solarius immediately looked down at his stomach. There was a black sword embedded in it. For a brief moment, the sword remained there before suddenly vanishing into thin air, disappearing as if it had never existed in the first place. However, the injury remained. Solarius’s expression became slightly darker as he stared at the wound. He had been so focused on destroying Asher’s vessel that he hadn’t noticed when the attack had been prepared. Aurelius looked at Solarius and noticed the wound on his stomach. Instead of showing concern, however, a sarcastic smile appeared on his face. "Are you okay, Solarius? Or do you need some help?"

Solarius looked towards Aurelius and then sneered before saying confidently,

"It is nothing. Just a simple scratch, nothing more."

After saying this, the wound on his stomach instantly began healing. In only a moment, it was completely restored, without leaving even the slightest sign that there had ever been an injury there.

Solarius then returned to the group as if nothing had happened. He looked at Aurelius with a confident expression, and his voice sounded slightly cocky as he said,

"See? It is nothing. He was just boasting. He isn’t even that strong. You were all thinking too highly of him."

Solarius glanced towards the place where Asher’s vessel had disappeared before continuing,

"That Crimson Sword is probably something he can only use once in a long time, and he most likely has to sacrifice something in order to use it. Otherwise, he would have used it immediately instead of letting me destroy his body."

He placed his hands behind his back and spoke with even more confidence.

"I am perfectly fine here. There is nothing to worry about."

Aurelius looked at Solarius for a moment and then glanced at the place where the wound had disappeared. Seeing that Solarius had completely healed himself, he nodded slightly.

"Yeah, you are right. I guess we were thinking of him too highly. He isn’t even that strong."

Aurelius then smiled and said in an amused tone,

"I hope you will also kill his other bodies just like that in the future."

Solarius simply nodded.

"Okay."

From the outside, Solarius looked completely fine. His expression was confident, and there wasn’t any sign that he had been injured only moments ago.

However, things were completely different inside his mind.

’What the fuck was that sword?’

Solarius couldn’t stop thinking about it. ’It was different from that Crimson Sword. Instead of attacking my body, it attacked my spirit. It even managed to injure my spirit while I was in my physical form, completely bypassing every defence I had.’

He understood that it would only take a few hours for his spirit to fully recover from the injury Asher had caused. However, he had also understood something else.

He should not underestimate Asher in the future battle.
