Mercenary’s War

Chapter 2622 - 2598: Leaving No Trace

Gao Yang hadn’t seen Jim for a long time, but as he was about to leave Yemen, he finally called Jim back.

Compared to Krulney whom he remembered, the current Jim was like a completely different person in both name and appearance. The original Krulney was slightly chubby, but the current Jim was much leaner.

However, in terms of ability, the current Jim was several times stronger than the past Krulney, which was not surprising since anyone who went through the transformation from Krulney to Jim would definitely make some progress. After all, the Black Demon only ensured Jim would never dare rebel, not turn him into a fool.

When it came to scheming, Gao Yang was no match for Jim, so entrusting Yemen to Jim was no problem at all.

"The current environment is favorable to us, and we need to seize the opportunity to create a chance for our troops in Aden. Once we take action, achieving greater results is inevitable."

After speaking cautiously, Jim, sitting in front of Gao Yang, took a document from his bag and placed it neatly in front of Gao Yang. Then he whispered, "This is the plan I’ve made; please have a look."

Gao Yang didn’t pick up the plan but pushed it forward with his hand, then smiled and said, "Let’s not commit it to paper."

Jim respectfully said, "It won’t stay on paper. I know you’re about to leave, so I hastily prepared this plan for you to thoroughly understand my plan. After reading it, please be sure to burn it."

Gao Yang took the plan and then smiled, "I’ll take my time reviewing the plan at home, but for now, tell me what needs to be done to assist you."

Jim immediately said, "The Mars Troop has been formed, then we should establish two to three smaller units to handle various emergencies. I’ve heard the members of the Mars Troop are quite capable?"

Gao Yang nodded, "Indeed, they are highly qualified, most of them former special operations unit members, with some integrated training."

Jim said in a deep voice, "That’s great. Assemble them into three small special operations teams. There are several advantages to this approach: first, it offers more flexibility; our current size of a hundred-person team is a bit too large, and many missions don’t require so many people, especially in Aden. If we form a few smaller teams, we can take on more tasks."

"That’s possible, but I want you to oversee the operations here in Yemen. If you also need to manage the tasks in Aden, can you handle it?"

Jim confidently replied, "Absolutely no problem."

Gao Yang nodded and took Jim’s plan, pulling out a lighter to set the plan on fire.

Watching the plan burn, growing more intense in his hand, Gao Yang slowly said, "You’re still worried, worried that I don’t fully trust you, so you gave me this plan. But it’s unnecessary. Keeping you here signifies my complete trust in you, so this plan is entirely unnecessary."

Jim slightly nodded.

Gao Yang turned the burning plan upward to avoid burning his hand, saying in a deep voice, "Plans always change; no matter how perfect the pre-plans, unforeseen incidents will force a change in plans. So this plan serves no purpose. For anything, you can take full control; just make sure to inform me of any major decisions. For the most part, if there’s no major issue, I won’t interfere in your decisions."

Jim bowed and said, "Thank you for your trust and support."

Throwing the nearly burnt plan on the ground, Gao Yang checked his watch and asked, "Any other matters?"

Jim immediately nodded, "Yes, we need to promptly establish the Jupiter Troop and expand its scale. I believe the Jupiter Troop should have at least three hundred people."

Currently, the Solar System Company has sent three teams to Yemen, named Mercury, Venus, and Mars.

The Mars Troop was just sent to Aden, and Jim now demands a fourth team, and a large one — a Jupiter Troop as large as the combined number of the previous three teams.

"A scale of over three hundred people, is that necessary?"

"It’s necessary, very necessary!"

After saying this earnestly, Jim said seriously, "Currently, our personnel are primarily engaged in unconventional operations, taking the elite route — but it’s crucial to note that Saudi Arabia does not need too many special operations elite units, rather they need high-quality conventional forces, which is where the big money lies. So, we need to gradually form a conventional unit of over a thousand people."

Upon hearing the word "thousands," Gao Yang felt a little daunted because such a large troop, from recruitment to command operations, makes every step very complicated.

Jim solemnly stated, "To become a large company, we must have a certain scale. Right now, we are adopting a high-end strategy, but only focusing on the high-end is not enough; we need to increase our size now. The timing is excellent and cannot be missed."

Gao Yang waved his hand, "Do as you said, I’ll start recruiting on a large scale immediately."

Jim exhaled deeply and said relaxed, "As long as you can send enough personnel, I assure you, this market will be exclusively ours."

Nodding, Gao Yang checked his watch, "You’ve lingered here too long; it’s inconvenient. Any other matters?"

Jim shook his head, "No further matters, I’ll leave Sana’a now."

Gao Yang said, "Alright, Lebyazhef and Vasily will leave with you. They’ll stay to assist before we fully withdraw. Well then, best of luck."

"Best of luck to you too."

The two shook hands, and Jim immediately stood to leave.

Most affairs in Yemen were almost settled; a large portion was handed over to Jim to take over, while Satan would stay for a transitional period.

Though Gao Yang didn’t need to meet Jim personally, he figured it was better to meet, so he arranged a short meeting. However, Jim had been operating in secrecy previously, and Gao Yang didn’t want to expose Jim’s identity, so the meeting was brief and intricately secure.

After Jim departed, Gao Yang quietly called, "Joseph."

Joseph stepped in from outside, whispering to Gao Yang, "They’ve left. Shall we wait a few more minutes to depart? Head straight to the airport?"

Gao Yang replied, "Exactly, to the airport. But first, burn everything here."

Gao Yang pointed to the mostly burned plan on the ground and sternly ordered, "Burn it here, thoroughly clean, without leaving any trace, absolutely not!"
