Both weren’t bothered by their injuries, as with a thought from both of them, the Law Of Time came alive, reversing the injuries and the effects that came with them.
They stared into each other’s eyes, sky-blue meeting sky-blue. The moment their eyes met, they vanished again, but this time, they didn’t just move; they moved through time itself.
Time Particles seemed to scramble as though a glitch had entered reality, and the next moment, both of them vanished as they appeared in the past, particularly at the point in time when their undead soldiers were still fighting.
Their weapons met head-on, their swords carving through each other’s undead as they simultaneously attacked each other, their bodies vanishing once more as they appeared in the present this time.
Anthony immediately slowed down time around both of them, simultaneously unleashing a rapid thrust attack straight for Death Renderer’s chest. But the Dullahan refused to be controlled, refusing to be chained down as he increased the temporal flow around himself and dodged Anthony’s attack at the last second by sidestepping.
The moment he dodged, a glowing silver temporal energy surged around Death Renderer’s hands, and without a shred of hesitation, he unleashed a barrage of temporal beams straight towards Anthony’s body.
Anthony didn’t dare take the attack head-on. His Law Of Time hummed once more as he erased himself from that moment in time. The moment he did, the Dark Knight found himself standing in Anthony’s former position, as Anthony had also used time to swap the Dark Knight’s position with a stone.
The Dark Knight felt his own attacks slam into his body, his body shooting forward like a bullet from a gun. His cold blue flaming eyes dimmed as his body seemed to thin, the temporal blast appearing to have shaved off a part of his existence.
The moment Anthony appeared at another location due to erasing himself from the former present, he immediately recalibrated as he moved through time yet again. But the Dullahan seemed ready this time as the Law Of Flame hummed around him, and the man summoned a literal sun, a sun with more heat than anything or any sun Anthony had encountered back in the Acarnis Galaxy.
As the attack was about to explode, Anthony immediately slowed down time around himself and the attack. Reality flashed before his eyes, and the next moment, he moved the sun into his past. The next moment, the sun vanished as it appeared at the dark ocean where he had arrived when he entered The Sleeping Hollow.
And with that, the entire dark ocean was instantly erased as an incalculable, illuminating force of power detonated, erasing all life forms there.
But Anthony and Death Renderer couldn’t care less even if they knew, as both of them were still on the move.
Anthony tapped into the Law Of Illusion as he created an illusion for Death Renderer, but the man seemed to see through it with his own Law Of Illusion. But the Law had merely been a decoy, as Anthony never intended to do anything with the illusion.
The moment the Dullahan responded to the illusion, another Anthony, a clone, appeared behind the man, the Law Of Souls humming around his palm as he slammed it into the Dark Knight.
Death Renderer felt his entire existence jolt as the clone attacked his soul directly. The Dark Knight staggered backwards as he vomited a huge amount of blood.
The next moment, the Law Of Souls hummed around his own hands as he closed the distance and slammed his hand into Anthony’s chest, as he ignored the fake Anthony through soul reading. Anthony didn’t block; he simply welcomed the attack head-on. The moment Death Renderer’s attack connected, Anthony felt a jolt tear through his body as it moved to tear and injure his soul.
But alas, Anthony was immune to soul damage. He could even transfer an attack against him back to its source, and that was exactly what Anthony did. The Dark Knight’s senses screamed, and without a shred of hesitation, he slipped through the Law Of Time and vanished.
But alas, Anthony’s attack didn’t care about distance, as the next moment, Death Renderer felt his soul jolt once again. It tore apart, his hands shaking as he vomited yet more blood.
He didn’t delay in using the Law Of Time and Law Of Souls to heal the damage. But even if both Laws were at the Embodiment stage, they couldn’t heal such damage as instantly as a physical injury.
But Anthony didn’t give him the space or time to heal. He closed the distance, his fist covered in the Law Of Souls as he unleashed an uppercut. The attack connected like two Bluetooth devices pairing, Death Renderer’s head snapping upwards before his body shot towards the red sun that hung above.
With the damage to his soul, he could no longer physically match Anthony, as even some of the Laws imprinted onto his soul to match Anthony had vanished due to his soul injury.
Anthony immediately shot towards the sky as he gave chase. But Death Renderer wasn’t so eager to just surrender. The Law Of Storm hummed around him as the sky was immediately filled with the cracking chaos of lightning and rain. The next moment, the entire sky seemed to fall as a barrage of lightning tore towards the flying Anthony.
Anthony tapped into the Law Of Evasion and the Law Of Speed, his body turning ethereal as he vanished as though he was never there. But the Lightning Storm was relentless as it filled the entire sky, and even when Anthony stacked two Laws, the attack’s speed still reached him.
Anthony weaved between each attack before changing course and shooting towards the Dark Knight, who was trying to heal himself. Death Renderer immediately frowned as he wondered why Anthony was flying towards him.
As Anthony reached him, he simply phased through the man using the Law Of Space. The moment he did, he activated the Law Of Souls and empowered the storm barrage with soul-damaging properties.
And with Anthony phasing through Death Renderer, the attacks connected with ruinous devastation, the entire sky charring white as it changed color from red. Endless crackling sounds slammed into Anthony’s ears as the entire Home of the Retired shook, even bolts of lightning tearing downward like an apocalypse.
The Dark Knight, who had been caught off guard, could only take the attacks head-on. His body spasmed as he dropped from the sky and landed with a thud, his soul damaged yet again. He rose to his knees as he knelt there, his body covered in blood as one could hear heavy panting even though one couldn’t see any nose.
Anthony shot downwards from the sky, landing opposite the Dullahan, who just stared him dead in the eye and said nothing.
"You were a fun opponent, Death Renderer," Anthony spoke, "but it seems this time, I will be the one to render death."
Death Renderer smiled, the helmet on his head also bending into a smile as though it were his own skin as he spoke. "Death is simply the ultimate state of existence."
Anthony said nothing more. He didn’t find any fear of death in the man’s eyes, but he didn’t care. He simply activated his Soul Transfer skill and transferred Death Renderer’s soul into his Soul Prison, which was within his own soul.
Anthony stared at Death Renderer’s pitch-black soul, and with his authority over the Soul Prison, he erased Death Renderer’s soul from existence.
And with that, the pitch-black armor simply fell forward with a heavy metallic thud, stirring up a little dust, the armor now nothing more than a husk of what it once was.
