Milf Cashback System:Every beauty I spend on makes me richer
Chapter 140: The First MoveJack was already talking to Jessica when Liam came down the main stairs.
They stood near the entrance to the east wing, not hidden, but not exactly in the open either.
Jessica had one shoulder against the wall, arms loosely folded, while Jack stood opposite her with a relaxed posture .
Whatever he had said made the corner of her mouth curve. She looked at his chest for a brief moment before meeting his eyes again, amusement lingering in her expression.
Liam slowed on the last step.
Jessica noticed him first. Her posture shifted subtly, the casual conversation giving way to something more professional. Jack turned a moment later. He didn’t step away from her. He simply met Liam’s eyes.
"Morning," Jack said.
"Morning."
Jessica gave Liam a short nod. Liam glanced at Jack.
Jessica pushed away from the wall. "He noticed the east camera leaves a blind spot for about six seconds when the patrol changes."
Liam’s eyes narrowed slightly.
Jack shrugged. "Six seconds is enough."
Jessica looked at him for another moment, then smiled.
"I’ll mention that to the others." She passed Jack on her way down the corridor, her shoulder brushing his arm. She didn’t look back.
Silence settled over the hall.
Jack rested one shoulder against the wall where she’d been standing and folded his arms, his size making the narrow space feel smaller.
"You’re up early," he said.
"So are you."
"Couldn’t sleep." Jack glanced toward the courtyard. "Figured I’d learn the house instead of breaking the bag every morning."
His eyes returned to Liam. "Turns out there’s more to this place than walls and cameras."
Liam walked closer. "Jessica seems helpful."
"She is." Jack held his gaze. "Some people around here don’t mind answering questions."
A beat. "Some even seem to enjoy the conversation."
The words were casual. The message wasn’t.
Liam studied him. Jack didn’t look away. There was no jealousy in his expression now, no irritation. Just competition.
Eventually, Jack pushed off the wall and rolled his shoulders. "I’m walking the rear grounds." He nodded toward the side entrance.
"I want to see how the motion lines sit when the light changes." Then he added, almost casually, "You’re welcome to come."
He didn’t wait for an answer. Jack walked toward the side door, and it closed behind him with a solid click.
Liam remained in the hallway for another moment before heading upstairs.
From the study window, he watched Jack cross the courtyard.
Renee was already moving, finishing her morning loop. The two crossed paths a brief nod, nothing more but Jack’s attention lingered on her for half a second before he continued walking. He didn’t hide it. He didn’t make a show of it either.
Liam watched him reach the service path. Jack crouched beside the wall and examined the motion line without touching it, following the wire with his eyes before looking toward the nearest camera. He shifted three steps to the left, stopped, looked again, then turned toward the east wing.
Liam leaned against the glass. Few days ago, Jack had treated the villa like a place to sleep, eat, and train. Now he was learning its blind spots, its patrols, its people, and doing all of it without being told.
Liam’s gaze shifted to the security monitors on his desk. Everything remained normal no alerts, no unusual movement, the villa secure as always. But the balance inside it had changed. Jack was no longer a guest. He was becoming part of the environment.
Downstairs, a door opened. Jessica’s voice carried briefly through the hall, followed by Jack’s deeper reply. Then silence returned.
Liam looked back through the window. Jack had reached the far side of the property. He stopped beside one of the cameras and looked directly into it, and for a moment it seemed as though he knew Liam was watching.
Jack raised two fingers in a lazy salute, then continued walking. Liam’s mouth curved faintly. The bastard was learning fast.
By late afternoon, Jack’s routine had changed completely. He still trained if anything, he trained harder but between sessions he moved around the property, asking questions, checking sightlines, and familiarizing himself with the routines of the people stationed there.
That evening, Liam came down the main stairs as Jack crossed the entrance hall. They stopped when they saw each other. Jack had just showered, his hair still damp, a fresh wrap covering one hand. He looked relaxed. Almost too relaxed.
"You’ve been busy," Liam said. Jack smiled. "Learning."
"Anything useful?" A few things." Jack glanced toward the east wing. "Your people are good." A pause. "Jessica’s especially sharp.
Liam said nothing.Jack’s grin widened. "There it is."
"What?"That look."Liam’s expression remained flat. Jack chuckled. "Relax. I’m not trying to do anything stupid to your security team." He walked past him.
Later that evening liam found Jack in the living room after the rest of the house had gone dark.
Jack sat on the edge of the couch, elbows on his knees, staring at the floor.
The restless energy that usually surrounded him was gone.
Liam stopped in the doorway.
Jack is good-looking. Better than I gave him credit for. Broad shoulders. A naturally intimidating build.
The kind of physique that made people look twice without him trying. I didn’t expect Jessica to actually vibe with him.
That was the problem. If Jack kept going like this, Jessica might stop being an option before Liam ever made his move. Renee could become the same problem. So could the others.
Liam still wanted Jack around. More importantly, he still wanted that second fight. I can’t chase him out of my villa. Which meant Jack had to leave the competition himself.
Liam walked in and took the chair opposite him.
"You’re thinking too loud."
Jack exhaled through his nose. "I’ve been looking at them."
"Jessica?"
"Jessica. Renee. The others." He rubbed a hand over his face. "At first, I figured I was just proving I could keep up with you."
Liam said nothing.
"But then I caught myself watching them." Jack frowned at the floor. "The way they move. The way they look at me." A bitter laugh escaped him. "I started doing the same thing I used to give you shit for."
Liam leaned back. Good.
Jack looked up. "I don’t like it."
"You shouldn’t."Jack’s expression tightened. Liam let the silence sit for a moment before speaking.
"You know what makes you dangerous?"
Jack waited.
"Discipline." Liam’s voice remained calm. "You can walk into a room full of men who want to kill you and keep your head clear.
You can fight for three hours without losing yourself." He paused. "But lately?"
Jack’s jaw tightened."You’re looking at the wrong things."That landed.
Liam leaned forward. "I’m not telling you women are a weakness. I’m telling you chasing them is."
Jack stared at him.
"If you want to talk to Jessica, talk to her. If she wants you, you’ll know. But if you start measuring yourself against me every time one of them smiles at you, you’ve already lost."
Jack’s eyes narrowed.
Liam continued before he could answer. "You’ll start thinking about who looked at you. Who didn’t. Who I talked to. Who you need to beat me to." His gaze hardened. "And while you’re doing that, someone else will be getting better."
Jack went quiet.
Liam lowered his voice. "You’ve already started changing your training. That’s good. Don’t throw that away because you got distracted by a few attractive women."Jack looked down at his hands.
For a moment, the silence was absolute.
Then he gave a quiet laugh. "You’re actually telling me this?"
"Yes."
"The same guy who spends half his day staring?"Liam’s mouth twitched. "That’s my weakness. You don’t need to copy it."
Jack studied him. Liam held his gaze. "If you really want to beat me, don’t become more like me."
That one stayed.
Jack leaned back slowly, the tension leaving his shoulders. "I’ve been acting like an idiot."
"You’ve been competing in the wrong arena."
Jack nodded once. "Fine." He stood and rolled his shoulders. "No more scoreboard." He started toward the hallway, then stopped. "Thanks.
Liam nodded. "Good."
Jack glanced back. "And the next time we fight?" His grin returned. "You’d better be ready."Then he walked away.
Liam waited until his footsteps disappeared. Only then did his expression change.
Perfect. He wasn’t suspicious. And most importantly, he had convinced himself that stepping away was his own decision.
Liam leaned back. Jessica is still open. His thoughts moved to Renee, then the others. And so are the rest.
A faint smile touched his lips.Jack had stepped off the board.Exactly where Liam wanted him.
