Khaldun repeated, "Terrence, let him go!"

The A+ alpha growled low and deep while clearing his throat in chagrin.

His frustration was palpable and expressed in an almost animalistic fashion.

Upset, Terrence reared back, nostrils flared, eyes narrowed and he bit his own lips in annoyance.

Sly was all but forgotten as Khaldun leaned over to whisper softly to Terrence in the outdated language of the Ephedra Empire that only Royals still studied.

It was similar to Latin, even though Sly couldn’t understand a word that Khaldun said to Terrence, his tone had a calming effect on the both of them.

Eventually Sly felt Terrence’s heavier weight ease from over his body and the A-tier alpha’s voice sounded hoarse, but stable.

"Fine, you can take him. I entered the cheat to unlock the spiritchoker just like you asked me to and it worked. He is all yours now," reminded Terrence.

He had reverted to his earlier countenance where he appeared almost angelic but that illusion had been shattered for Sly.

Now Sly understood not to underestimate an alpha no matter how shiny or ethereal they appeared, they were all wolves in sheep clothing under that human-like skin.

Before Terrence turned to leave he gave Sly a look to imply that they had unfinished business.

It was more of a smirk, with the bold confidence that only a Royal Alpha could display.

"Take the others with you," ordered Khaldun brusquely.

With a wink Terrence turned his back to the couple and waved them off.

Terrence helped Jonas James to carry out the unconscious Shelby and the remaining alpha sentinels that hadn’t been already thrown out limped through the curtains on their own.

"Are you alright, my precious cutie?"

Sly stared at the monitor on the wall and felt apprehensive, he shook his head, "With everything that has happened I don’t know how to feel but shouldn’t you be more worried about your rampage level?"

"Royal guides will be arriving soon since they were already on route for the academy’s opening ceremony so I’m not worried but if you want to go before they arrive I won’t stop you."

The room felt silent but Sly didn’t budge; he sat down on the edge of the bed and Khaldun joined him.

Khaldun broke the silence first, "the boys are not normally rowdy like this, and I never expected our lunch date would unfold this way, please believe me."

He tried to touch Sly but the omega pulled away which infuriated Khaldun even more.

Suddenly Khaldun yanked Sly onto his lap.

Khaldun frowned, "I’m sorry Sly I wish I could give you a more pleasant introduction to guiding but I can’t afford to waste anymore time, forgive me."

Then Khaldun did something Sly hated; he forced open a connection to Sly’s spirit landscape.

Prepared to do reverse guiding to ensure his survival, if they both survived apologies to Sly could come after.

When Mimosa tried to block him Black Wolf chased him away and a new connection was firmly established between them.

Mimosa counterattacked with violent spores then after paralyzing black wolf he wrapped him up like a mummy with his vines but Black Wolf had merely been a distraction.

Khaldun had already mind linked with Sly and began siphoning off his spirit energy if Mimosa was to separate them at this stage it may cause irreparable damage to Sly.

As soon as the connection was set Khaldun wasted no time operating the connection.

Overwhelmed, to Sly it felt like a dam had burst in his spirit landscape and Khaldun was riding and controlling the turbulent rapid waters.

Like electricity Khaldun’s chaotic spirit energy violently knocked down Sly’s defenses and left his body in shock.

No matter how Mimosa tried to repair the shields he kept getting electrocuted.

As wave after wave poured out of Khaldun’s spirit domain and flooded Sly’s spirit landscape.

Sly was unprepared to handle the volume of chaotic energy flooding him internally and could only let Khaldun manipulate his mind and body in order to have his way, it was devastating.

Only Khaldun was enjoying himself, surprised to finally have an outlet for his inner turmoil.

While Sly was in pain and Mimosa was running around like a headless chicken trying his best to live up to his duties as a spirit guardian and at least soften the blow, Khaldun was in ecstasy.

Feeling refreshed, guiding had never felt so good, Khaldun never felt true pleasure when he got serviced, until today.

He couldn’t hide his exuberance as Khaldun watched the numbers on the monitor dwindle rapidly.

Khaldun couldn’t wait to do the match test with Sly and claim him before the world as his exclusive guide.

For Sly it was the opposite, if this was what he would have to go through every time he guided someone he planned to run away from Paradise Military Academy the first opportunity he got.

Although not professionally trained Sly was still a guide and instinctively his body knew how to channel then expel the unwanted spiritual residue from the domain.

Even though he was going about it the wrong way because at first it seemed like Sly was just exhausting his efforts.

Nothing he tried to purge or oust Khaldun and his Black Wolf from his spirit landscape worked.

Then Sly realized the temperament of the chaotic spirit energy was just a beast like its master, if he tried to contain or cage it then it would just get more aggressive and rebel.

In order to tame it, he had to coax it.

Manipulating the chaotic spirit energy gently until it quieted down then he pounded and smashed Khaldun’s chaotic energy until it faded into nothingness.

He kept diligently repeating the process until eventually all the flood waters receded on its own.

Exhausted, and feeling drained Sly fainted.
