Early the next morning, Yang Fei opened his eyes.

A brilliant beam of sunlight shone through the floor-to-ceiling window, dazzling his eyes so much that he couldn't see anything clearly.

Yang Fei stretched lazily, shook his head, and recalled last night's drunkenness, letting out a wry smile.

At that moment, a soft moan came from nearby, and a long, smooth leg stretched over, pressing against his abdomen.

Yang Fei was startled, turned his head, and happened to see Milan's gentle and delicate face.

Half of her face was hidden behind her cloud-like hair, with a beautiful blush still lingering on her cheeks.

Her lips were tightly sealed, with a sweet smile, and her breath was light, clearly lost in a beautiful dream.

In that instant, Yang Fei almost felt his heart leap out of his mouth.

He clearly remembered drinking heavily with Maggie and the others last night, losing any recollection afterward, only to wake up and find Milan sleeping beside him.

Looking at her in this state, Yang Fei could deduce what had happened even with his big toe.

With a sense of luck, Yang Fei quietly pulled back the blanket and took a look underneath.

He saw skin as fair as snow, with curves and contours, and Milan was wearing nothing, curled up in the quilt like a kitten.

Yang Fei was even more dumbfounded, frozen on the spot.

Originally, he had planned to kill the Doomsday Goddess and then return to the earth.

Who knew he'd end up entangled in this romantic debt, causing his head to feel like it was about to explode.

Then, Milan opened her eyes and looked at Yang Fei in a daze, chuckling lightly, "What are you doing?"

Yang Fei watched Milan wake up and almost wanted to run away, but he couldn't bring himself to commit such irresponsible behavior.

He lowered his head, filled with remorse, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I got drunk last night and did something foolish, offending you."

Milan, seeing his anxious and self-blaming expression, chuckled softly.

"You look much cuter now. Don't worry, I won't cling to you. After last night's story, I have no regrets."

Yang Fei shook his head, apologizing sincerely.

"No, Fatty Master is a real man and would never do something so irresponsible."

Milan giggled, her body shaking under the quilt, looking incredibly enchanting.

"Who said you need to take responsibility? I just didn't want to have any regrets."

At this, Milan urged Yang Fei.

"Didn't you promise to leave for the Doomsday Forest with Moran this morning?"

Milan said, pointing at the clock on the wall.

"It's already 8:30. If you don't want Professor Moran to personally chase you here, you better hurry and leave."

Yang Fei widened his eyes, feeling very uneasy.

"Am I really leaving just like this? That wouldn't be fair to you."

Milan spat at him, "Be a man, stop dawdling. Hurry up and go; I'll be waiting at home for you."

Thinking of Moran's usual capriciousness, cruelty, and ruthlessness, Yang Fei shivered slightly.

He bent down and gently kissed Milan's white forehead.

"I'm going now. I'll come looking for you after returning from the Doomsday Forest, and we can talk then.

Milan obediently nodded, urging Yang Fei to leave.

Yang Fei gave her a deep look, as if trying to engrave her image in his heart.

Finally, he put on his clothes and left in a hurry.

It turned out the room Milan had given Yang Fei was on the Seventh Level of the Blue Charm building.

A lover's restaurant often had an attached hotel; it seemed to be an unwritten rule.

Yang Fei stepped out of the Blue Charm, looked at the upper floors for a full minute, sighed, shook his head, and walked on.

On the seventh floor, behind the wide floor-to-ceiling window, Milan, her hair loose, watched dumbly as the fat man left.

She felt as if her heart was being hollowed out, as if she had lost something most important.

Tears trickled down her cheeks, and in the sunshine, they reflected in spectacular colors, stunningly beautiful.

Yang Fei took out his communicator from his pocket, and upon opening it, saw there were more than ten messages, all from Moran.

There were over a dozen missed calls, each with a shorter interval, all from Moran.

Yang Fei sighed and had no choice but to call Moran back.

As soon as the call connected, Moran's deafening roar came through immediately.

"Fatty, do you not want your 20 million anymore? Daring to mess with me, do you have a death wish?"

Yang Fei smiled bitterly. He told Moran about the drinking in the Blue Charm restaurant last night.

Of course, he didn't mention the hotel.

For some reason, he didn't want more people to know about last night.

Moran snorted angrily.

"We're about to head into the Doomsday Forest, and nothing is certain; it's incredibly dangerous."

"And yet you have the interest to indulge?"

Yang Fei nodded obediently, but secretly found it amusing.

If Moran had been invited last night, the little skank would've come to eat and drink for free too. Why the whine?

Two days later, Yang Fei and Moran reached the edge of the Doomsday Forest.

On the journey, Yang Fei came to understand the precarious position humanity found itself in after the doomsday arrived.

If all territories were divided into ten parts, humans would control no more than 3/10.

The endless wilderness, vast seas, and vast primeval forests.

These places, more or less, had been irradiated by nuclear explosions.

In most regions, there was a barrenness similar to a desert.

In some areas, however, vegetation grew extremely lush, with all sorts of strange Dark Creatures.

Most dark creatures were below level five; though they had special abilities, they posed no danger to Martial Arts Experts.

Some dark creatures, even though genetically polluted by nuclear radiation, maintained a peaceful and benevolent demeanor.

However, non-aggressive dark creatures are, after all, few. Many dark creatures harbor a natural hostility towards humans.

Most of the dark creatures are extremely ferocious, with even large exotic beasts.

After two days of travel, the thing Yang Fei worried about most didn't happen after all.

Only then did Moran let out a long sigh of relief, and when Yang Fei saw her doing so, he found it quite amusing.

In the principal's office at Sai Enshi Military Academy.

Giles was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, stomping repeatedly without a solution.

At that moment, someone pushed open the office door and walked in.

The individual had hair as white as silver and a bright red nose, appearing rather comical.

This person wasn't anyone else but Sam.

Before Sam could speak, Giles asked anxiously.

"How is it? Have you found any traces of Moran and Yang Fei?"

"These two are the Pillar of Heaven of our academy; nothing must happen to them."

Sam shook his head, "There's no news yet, but both Moran and Yang Fei aren't ones to be trifled with. Don't worry too much."
