Modern Family: The Singer

[3rd POV]

After a passionate night of lovemaking with her girlfriend, the two had awoken once more in the morning. As Billie was now sitting in her living room, reading over the news and other articles that were reporting on her little show at the school.

The school itself was getting a shit ton of attention thanks to it. And many were beginning to shine a light on some of the truly incredibly talented kids that attended the school. Chief amongst them? Tori, Cat, and Andre.

Tori in particular was actually trending on Twitter now that people began to hear her music, and there was already some calls for adding them to Spotify and other music apps and sites.

That was something that would be happening for sure, but it would be after they inevitably joined her recording company and became one of it's superstars. As setting up a Spotify was not as easy as one would think.

It involved some money, a good amount of publicity, and a few other things that sort of required some help in order to do so.

Thanks to the publicity that the school was getting, Helen had reported that there was tons of new requests for joining the school as a student, at least, there were parents asking for their kids to join. Many hoped that the school would be the chance for their kids to become superstars, since it seemed to have a track record.

And surely the school was a good one if Billie Eilish herself was doing guest lectures at it.

Helen couldn't respond to them all because there was simply too many, so instead she had invited a few kids to try out to join the school, since you did not just get into the school, and had to actually be talented to get in.

Tori's music that had been posted on YouTube before had absolutely blown up, and now had millions of views. Whereas before they had maybe 50,000 views beforehand. And that number was continuing to rise rapidly thanks to the increasing amount of publicity she was getting.

Even if Billie did not recruit her into her recording company, Tori would still be getting decently big, and would be getting quite a lot of money, not that she really needed it, since her family was wealthy.

The other people that had gotten quite a lot of attention was Cat and Andre.

Cat was getting attention because her vocal range was even better than Tori's, and some of her music was just as good, if not better than Tori's. The range of her vocals was genuinely incredible, and had gotten a ton of attention from professionals that were interested in recruiting some students once they graduated or became adults.

Cat had the same vocal range as Arianna Grande did in her past life, the woman that had acted as her in the show in the first place.

Thanks to this, Billie new that Cat would likely be even bigger than Tori would be. Simply because her music was that interesting and that good.

There was a few songs that Billie had that she decided to set aside for Cat to use, since they were actually Arianna Grande songs in the first place, and were perfect for her overall style and the tone of voice she had. That and they were literally used by the woman that acted as her, so it was only natural that Cat herself would be able to use the songs and sing them to a decent enough level.

That would be for the future though, as Cat had to sign with her studio first, and would need to get to that level first. As a lot of Arianna's songs are genuinely pretty difficult, mostly because of how high her voice is, and some of the songs could put a good bit of strain on her voice.

The last of the three that had been getting tons of attention was, of course, Andre. Who after they had all began to hear about the fact that he was the one that had written most of the songs, had been getting a ton of offers from studio's.

But he had been smart, and decided to join Billie's after hearing that the others were going to as well. That, and Billie was the largest artist on the planet, and if anyone could teach him what it means to be both a singer and song writer, it was her.

Afterall, she had written all of her own songs, all of HD's songs, and had literally hundreds of other songs ready to get released whenever she wanted to.

Not many singers could do that, if any at all. She was a huge outlier in that aspect, and that was part of why she was considered such a legendary singer already, even though she hadn't been singing for even a decade.

He was also likely to get the most money from her group since she actually knew how much potential he had. While the others were not willing to offer as much since while he did have potential, they weren't going to spend millions on him on the word of others and only a few music videos.

That would, of course, be their loss and Billie's gain. As she knew for a fact that he was going to be popular in the future, and she knew that he would be one of the best in her company at song writing by the time he's done training under other song writers.

'Looks like my show has been quite the popularity booster for the school. And a huge source of information for Tori and the rest of her group. Information regarding what a professional looked like' That information would be the key to the development of some of the members of her little group, especially Andre.

"How's Helen and the school taking all the new publicity?" Haley asked, as she peaked over her girlfriend's shoulder. She had heard a bit about it on the news when they had come out into the living room earlier that morning, but that was before her shower. That and she had not payed much attention to it.

"In stride. Helen's already had to get some more security for the school because I guess the paparazzi were bugging the hell out of some of the students. Thankfully they all ran off after the cops showed up when they heard about the disturbance" Billie replied, which got a raised eyebrow from her girlfriend.

"They're really ballsy to do that. I mean, yeah, they're paparazzi, but even paparazzi should know not to fuck with schools with how cops take it and how seriously those places are protected" Haley responded, not understanding their idea, which was ignorant and just stupid as hell.

They're lucky they aren't in jail for that shit.

"Paparazzi have always been ignorant morons. That's because they are backed by huge companies and other corporations that can afford to get them out of jail with special bits of information from the people they are stalking" Haley sighed at her words, but understood the truth of them.

She just wished it was different.

With that conversation soon dying out, the two of them began to talk about very different things. All the while Billie had only one thought on her mind.

'I wonder if there's any other local schools I can guest teach at?'
