"Mom, you’re here." Evander Lancaster put the washed meal containers together and continued washing the next one.
Juliana Lancaster was most satisfied with this aspect of her son-in-law; he could do housework, earn money, came from a good family, and wasn’t arrogant.
"Sophia is calling you, go keep her company, I’ll do the washing."
Evander Lancaster didn’t put down the meal container, continuing to rinse it under the faucet, "Mom, just now my mom came over, and Sophia isn’t too happy. I was thinking..."

Scolded by her own mother, Sophia Hamilton stopped her tantrum and let Evander Lancaster check her.
Pulling back the hospital gown, Evander Lancaster was visibly relieved to see no new bloodstains on the bandage. He pressed his hands together with the right amount of pressure near the wound.
"Does it hurt?"
Sophia Hamilton...
Reluctantly answered, "No, it doesn’t,"
Juliana Lancaster, also a doctor, could tell from her daughter’s reaction that there was no major issue, and immediately said sternly, "There’s nothing wrong; the baby is hungry; feed the baby first."
